Sushi that might be too cute to eat…for people that want to eat sushi that doesn’t look like sushi…some assembly required…
Sushi Party: Kawaii Sushi Made Easy! by Ken Kawasumi is a creative “cook” book for those that like adding a little artistic flare to their sushi.
The book starts by covering assorted ingredients, tools, and other utensils you need to properly craft some sushi.
Then it gets to the good part…
Breaking up the sushi art into flowers, animals, assorted pop culture figures, and other things.
Each design gets a full two page spread showing the various steps to making them. While I’m not sure if I could make them, it’s pretty straight forward if you have the tools and food you need.
Definitely worth checking out even if you don’t use it. The designs might inspire you to come up with your own…
This is a very detailed well written piece of work. I was expecting the same layout as every other cookbook/craft book, but this is much better. I bought the print version also because having the book on hand sounds sensible
