When myths become real, danger stalks White Haven.
The Crossroads Circus has a reputation for bringing myths to life, but it also seems that where the circus goes, death follows. When the circus sets up on the castle grounds, Newton asks Avery and the witches to investigate.
This proves trickier than they expected when an unexpected encounter finds Avery bound to a power she can't control.
Strange magic is making the myths a little too real.
As Avery grows weaker, and with time running out, Caspian is only too willing to help, and although Alex hates relying on him, he'll do anything to save Avery.
Shadow has her own agenda. When a mysterious stranger comes to town with a proposition, will she betray them when they need her most?
The witches might stand a chance, if they can get the Raven King and Green Man on their side.
Without them they'll lose everything - and Avery will lose her life.
If you love witches and magic, and lots of myth and mystery, you'll love the sixth book in the White Haven Witches series.
I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
I am particularly addicted to this series as I find the White Haven coven really exciting but I found this book to be particularly exciting as it focused on Avery, one of the main characters in the series and it became quite dark and threatening as it put her life at great risk. I also love the fact that the circus came to town as I find circuses to be full of mystery and allure and this one even more so, as it based it's theme on ancient folklore and myth, including that of the Green Man and the Raven King. However they also brought a lot of danger with them in the form of a woman called Caitlin, who set her eyes on Avery from day one, and bound her to her so that she could drain her of her magic and if left unhindered of her life force too. Furthermore it seems that wherever the circus travelled murdered bodies of young healthy men turned up to. Caitlin had a convoluted plan in mind and poor Avery got sucked into it, but her friends stood by her all the way and would not stop till they confronted the woman, and saved their friend from her evil clutches! I found this story to be very intriguing and loved that the Gods and the fey were so involved. I look forward to the next book in one of my very favourite fantasy series.
I love this series and this one did not disappoint. I want to go to White Haven and shop in their shops ( particularly El’s Jewellery shop). The story moves along quickly teasing spoilers without revealing too much so that you do not want to put it down. I loved learning about the Green Man and the Raven King ( so much that I had to find out more). Once again a really good story, but my favourite part is the characters and how they interact. I felt Caspian’s pain and look forward to finding out about his romantic future (Shadow?). I cant wait for the coven’s next adventure as both witches and In their personal lives.
This is my favourite book so far, steeped in myths and legends that come to life at the circus. The coven has their hands full this time and another death defying mystery to solve. I liked this book the most because Shadow had more of a part to play a d we read about her feelings on being kept from her home. There is always trouble of the magical ki d in White Haven but the witches are on hand to protect the town. The ending was great as it culminated in a magical battle that leaves the coven with new insights into the magic they wield and where it comes from.
ONE CHART TOPPING JOURNEY!!! Wenching witches! Green doesn't disappoint with this incredible spin, unleashes one action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, racking up the chicanery and lowering the boom, wrapping this bad boy up sleek, shiny and tight. Twixt and twinned and intermingled, along with a slew of astonishing twists and shocking turns, rolling with the current and breaking waves, catapulting this gem to staggering heights. Bracing for low blows, stilling the drama, riding the intrigue, exposing the traps, battling the danger, locking the suspense as tension spirals, blazing this jewel to life flawlessly. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are pushed and manipulated, booting this baby forward, kicking it into overdrive, slamming it into a tailspin with an mind-blowing culmination. The characters are complex and realistic with qualities and traits that transform into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions, as to give you a full understanding and realism that balance and blend smoothly. Remarkable job Green, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Crossroads Magic is another masterful blend of traditional lore and magic manifesting in a cozy modern town. This time a circus has come to town with some strange and disturbing stories surrounding it and as first impressions go, something is off. This story goes through some crazy twists and turns straddling the line between a paranormal cozy and a supernatural thriller.
This is the 6th book in the series. You can read and enjoy it without having read prior books as there is enough background info given to help you catch up - but warning, also lots of spoilers and you will want to go back and read the previous books if you haven't already. This series is far more enjoyable read in order so you can watch the character growth.
With each installment, this series gets more and more creative and intriguing. After their battle in the last book, the White Haven Witches are looking forward to a well earned respite. Alas, that's not the case. This time, one of their own is targeted.
Avery finds herself in a dangerous position. The other witches are there to put a stop to what is happening. Failing to do so could be fatal to Avery. They all rally round and do their utmost to put an end to this menace. Will they succeed?
It's great to see how each member of the coven has grown. Caspian has completely turned around. Not to forget Dan and Sally who make valuable contributions. Alex and Avery are so down to earth and lovable. The myths are fascinating. It's well paced and full of magic. An easy and compelling read.
What a read. It is full of all the fabulous characters you have come to love in this series. I love how you get to live, love, laugh and play with the White Haven Witches. Their adventures are more and more amazing and this one was no exception. The Raven King and The Green Man have come to White Haven in the form of a magical circus. All of White Haven is excited to visit the circus and enjoy the show that promises to be spectacular. Unfortunately all is not as magical as it seems. Join the team in solving this new magical conundrum. Grab yourself a copy and lose yourself in a fabulous series. It is best to read in order. Highly recommended.
The White Haven witches are called to stop a serial killer! But strange magic and ancient legends make it more dangerous than vampires on the loose. But this time Avery is the one who is threatened as something is sapping her magic, and the glowing rune on her palm is no tatoo!. Green has created more twists and turns and a fast pace. Shadow keeps them wondering just how safe are the Fae and whose side is she on. I received an arc copy from Book funnel and choose to leave a review. I loved this story. Though part of a series you do not need to read the earlier volumes, but you will want to.
Another great hit in the White Haven Witch Series! Loved it! TJ, you are my favorite present day Author! I rate you with the old Grand Masters of Supernatural Science Fiction authors. People who haven't read this latest story in the series have to read book 6. Someday, I would be proud to have a cup of Earl Gray with you! This book given to me by the author to read and review. I highly recommend it.
Every book in this series is better than ther previous! Action, adventure, friendship, loyalty and magic! Ther perfect combination! The White Haven Witches are mixture of bad ass and loyal, you just cant help but fall in love with each and every one of these characters! Yes, even the "bad guy" now has me rooting for him! Another page turner that has you finishing far too quickly you literally cant wait until the next!
Another Winner, as Avery and Alex are as strong as ever. The is set in a place I never thought of. It was hard to put down as you wondered what was going to happen next. The story developed at a was well paced and kept you engaged. I was not disappointed at all, enjoyed the book. Look forward to more from these cast of characters. I recommend reading this book/ series, you will not be regret it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I so love this series! Cornwall is a magical place I always went to as a child and I just love that this is the setting for these stories. I love that the author has brought in characters from our own British myths and I loved how we came across them in the circus 🎪 Out of all the books this is definitely my favourite and I hope we get book 7 soon! I would definitely recommend reading the other books in the series before this one.
This is my favourite of the White Haven Witches series so far, and not just because I love the circus. And with its magic enhanced by the atmosphere of White Haven, what a circus it is! I enjoyed the appearance of the Old Powers and the revelation at the very end was especially pleasing. The writing is very vivid. I felt that, like Avery, I could see the mysterious crossroads whenever I closed my eyes.
Wow live just got a lot more darker for Avery. Our friends come up against some old school legends which might just change everything! As always this book delivers a lot of drama, suspense, action and a whole lot of new characters and plots. I could not put this book down and had to finish it. An excellent read for young adult and up. One of the best witch series I have read. You will not be disappointed!
This 6th volume in the continuing saga of the White Haven Witches is as intriguing and entertaining as all of the others. In this installment, the small coven of magical best friends try to unravel the mystery surrounding a circus with a Green Man / Raven King theme. Their travails are complicated by a crone using powers from the Fey world to harness Crossroads Magic steeped in ancient lore. Romances continue and danger abounds. Keep writing TJ Green.
The wiccan/pagan holiday of Imbolc happens in mid-winter and the White Haven coven celebrates in February. It involves sweeping out the old year. An enchanted circus comes to the village at this time, bringing its own variety of magical mayhem. Avery continues to practice witch-flight and runs into problems with standing stones a "crossroad." Shadow (the fey) becomes a more important part of the coven group. They also gain a pair of Empura swords from the "otherworld."
Loved this book, wasn’t sure about the previous one as TJ Green’s take on Vampires wasn’t as believable as some Vampire books I’ve read, however this one and the use of old folklore and pagan ideas was amazing . I love the introduction of the Fey and especially like Shadow as a character. Caspian’s unrequited love for Avery was touching as was his comforting of Shadow when the raven king refused to take her home.

I really enjoyed all of the previous books and was disappointed once I had read all of them that I had to wait over a month for the next book as I am a speed reader and could not put these books down. But the wait was totally worth is and was a great addition to the series, and I can’t wait for the next one
T J works her magic again. I love this series. It’s gripping yet so down to earth. The ‘team’ led by Avery, on the surface have normal lives but are witches battling demons and strange entities. In Crossroads Magic it’s set around a travelling circus. It’s so descriptive you’re there while it’s happening around you. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
White haven witches have returned book 6 in this series I'm thinking this is my favourite book, reading this book I couldn't turn the pages quick enough, without giving anything away they go to the circus...it was lovely for them to involve others into help them. And was lovely to focus on the lovely avery and her relationship with Alex. So magical you could be in the bookshop with her.
Things will never be the same again...or will they? Things are really amping up for the White Haven Witches. As the group explore and investigate all the strange happenings, things start to get confusing...and stressful. All of the twists and turns keep you on your toes and things come to a head. Can the coven survive this new dilemma? Or will it estrange them all? Loving the series!
As I have just re read the whole series I welcomed this book to relieve lockdown. I say this every time I absolutely loved the book and this may just be my favourite! I don’t do spoilers but I will say the characters were expanded and the whole story will keep you enthralled! I highly recommend not only this book but the whole series!
So many words to describe this series. It would take an dictionary and many hours to share my thoughts. Let's just say that you are captivated and unable to put down. This series causes you to care for and relate with these diverse characters. Take a chance on a supernatural superb series. You will not be disappointed. Received ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Magic, witches, a circus... whats no to love? This is yet another great story in this series from one if my fave authors. I made a cuppa and spent the day reading it straight thru. I love the characters, esp. Shadow and all the excitement kept me turning pages. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. I received an ARC of this book.
Love this series and the latest certainly didn't disappoint. Very exciting and a wonderful surprise at the end made this a real number one for me - and the mix of old myths (The Green Man and The Raven King) and the circus made for interesting times. Love the way Avery and the gang are growing and can't wait to see where they go from here.
This book is just as good as the rest. I enjoyed the adventures of our White Haven witches. I don't have a favorite witch, but I am liking the relationship roller coasters all of our witches are on. I am looking for to another book with our White Haven witches.
I received an ARC copy and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I discovered the White Haven series right after becoming disabled, and I think I read the first book in 1.5 days! This book did not disappoint, and I loved reading it. As always, T.J. made me not want to stop reading the book! I can't wait for more of the White Haven witches.
