This is certainly becoming an addictive series....I find myself unable to pause before purchasing the next book. Romance is great but Fantasy and Scifi stretches ones imagination and that is what this series has supplied.

Wow! The Asgard and Olympians? Norse and Greek? Fighting frost giants and soon to meet the Titans! This series just keeps getting cooler! On a side note, have you loved a character so much that you get pissed off an the author when something really bad happens? That happened!!! lol Excellent narration by Hollie Jackson! She keeps the series exciting!

This, is an amazing book. Yes, there are some typos, but with writing like this, who gives a &%* So far, for me, this is most emotional book in the series. The only 'bad' part of this book was

Oddly enough, I've had this entire series for awhile now. And I keep putting off reading it. I don't know why, the first book was wonderful, but for some reason, I never wanted to go on to the next one. Then one day I ran out of new stuff on my kindle to read while I was out, and I read the second book in this series, and I didn't stop until I was done. The same exact thing happened for the next two. I was reluctant to start, but once I did, I couldn't stop. I can safely say I have learned my lesson (finally) and will read the last one right away.

This is the fourth of the Valkyrie Chronicles I've listened to from audible.com come and I've LOVED each one.

Schubach builds a fantastic world of brave, valiant women (and some men) who are as diverse in their personalities and talents. I'll admit turning an extra discerning eye on men who try to write lesbian fiction, but this author builds honest, complex, deep characters. His lesbians ring true, as do his bisexual, cisgender females and males and everybody else. On top of that, the man knows how to write a damn good story. Seventy Two Hours is not a long story, but a brilliantly paced plot, woven expertly to build tension from beginning to end.

I have seen mention from someone who read his books that he needs an editor to catch typos, but that doesn't come across at all on the audible versions, which have a fantastic narrator.

Bravo, Erik. You've won a permanent fan. I was going to stop with your Valkyries, but now I'm going to have to try all of your other books.

Loving it!

As my friends all know, I love series books. It's always nice to come back to the characters you grow to love and share in their world. reading again about Kara, Kate, Odin and all the people of Asgard was quite thrilling for me. The introduction of new characters is usually a sign that more books are to follow. Anyway the women of Asgard along with their Allies prove they are a force to be reckoned with and they will fight to their deaths to protect the innocent people in their world as well as innocents of other planets. The introduction to the power of the Three Embers , Sam, Esa and Brunie will surely make for interesting future tales. Thank you again Erik for a story well told.

Once again I loved this book, the series is brilliant, ok so the second in the series was slightly disappointing compared, but the two after that were indeed just as good as the first, a great read, there has to be another one though right? Esa will surely get with Intark and what about this new race the Olympians??

Another beautiful book for Kara and Kate, also really liking Talia. The surprise guest at the end has got me curious for when the next book comes out.

Action packed addition to the Valkyrie Chronicles. A lot happens in a short amount of time in this story. Kara of course smashing her way through the story. My only complaint is Kate's personality has shifted to much like the Asgard. I liked her as the cop and strong before her life was changed. She is a good partner to Kara but she seems to take too much of a back seat. That said I'll be jumping on to the next story soon.
