most everyone seems to like this book though some are in shock there's no spaghetti with meat sauce recipe but in looking through the index, under beef you will find pappardelle with ragu
A must have for any cook from beginner to seasoned (no pun intended). It has great step by step guides, glossy pictured and easy to follow instructions. It even shows you how to cut, roll pastries correctly, oven times, freezing tips etc etc.
Very good illustrations, and step by step instructions. Some ingredients are exotic, but if you were unable to find the ingredient, there are many other recipes to choose from. I'll add more to my review once I actually cook something from the book!
I love this book, even if it does have a British/European slant. All the recipes have photos! Tons of things I've read about but never seen. Educational. Yum.
This is a wonderful cookbook. Lots of information, even useful for an experienced home cook, along with a huge amount of great, do-able recipes with beautiful illustrations.
The illustrations are beautiful as well as helpful. The grouping of photographs of finished dishes according to a variety of categories in addition to the basic organization is intriguing.
