Note: The decision was made to consolidate all Disney publications under the name Walt Disney Company. This profile is for Walt Disney, the characters he created, and the company he founded. Any questions, please ask in the Librarian's Group.

Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.

Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.

Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) (commonly referred to as Disney) is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world in terms of revenue. Founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt Disney and Roy Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, the company was reincorporated as Walt Disney Productions in 1929. Walt Disney Productions established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and travel. Taking on its current name in 1986, The Walt Disney Company expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theatre, radio, publishing, and online media. In addition, it has created new divisions of the company in order to market more mature content than it typically associates with its flagship family-oriented brands.

The company is best known for the products of its film studio, the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, today one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 11 theme parks around the world. On January 23, 2006, it was announced that Disney would purchase Pixar in an all-stock transaction worth $7.4 billion. The deal was finalized on May 5. On December 31, 2009, Disney Company acquired the Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4.24 billion. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.

It's Martin versus the Grumper sisters in the school election, and the girls are doing all they can to help their friend win - while also dealing with Tecla and the ragorlang, who seem to have set their sights on Hay Lin! Gnone keeps the twists coming with another exciting collection of chapters that will have fans glued to the pages. Can W.I.T.C.H find a way to protect their hometown from this pesky villainess, or is Heatherfield the next in a long line of casualties?

Galėjo būti ir geriau su tokia idėja. Blemba, atrodo tiek visko galima buvo išvystyti, bet gavome kaip visada.

This book was better than the previous one. The Ragorlang-story was more in fore-front than before, although there were still some filler-episodes and I still noticed how the art is sexualicing the girls - which is just wrong, if you ask me. It's not a lot, but it's there, and it's the subtle art and sexualication that is the most dangerous, if you ask me.

I am invested now, however, and want to see how this story ends! Both the Ragorlang-arc, and the Will-arc introduced in the last chapter. I JUST WANT HER AND MATT TO BE HAPPY!

Still really enjoying this series, this volume did have a bit of filler so hence my rating is a bit lower, but still really enjoyed it overall. I can't really say much but this series is pretty consistent throughout.

I liked this volume better than the previous. I find the middle books are always filled with more momentum. I felt sorry for Hay Lin that her friends still weren’t really listening to her or taking her concerns and nightmares seriously. I hope it doesn’t become a reoccurring theme that they don’t listen to her when she says somethings up, because at the moment that’s what it feels like is happening. I really enjoyed seeing Irma’s loyalty to her friend Martin and also seeing Joel change his vote to do something morally right instead of making a decision that would only benefit himself and his band. Will making the vending/coffee machines give out free hot drinks so people would vote for Martin was genius! Cornelia trying to style him up not so much. The Grumpers article dissing the girls and Ms. Knickerbocker made me cringe. Also the Grumpers being in that talent show was a weird side plot I actually didn’t see coming. I kind of wanted them to be used like Uriah and his gang had been and turned into ragorlangs. Also seeing the good side of Uriah and co. was funny even if they became the stereotypical nerdy type. His parents were shocked!

I really enjoyed watching the girls new mission as peace ambassadors and it was funny to see them tackle each different culture and world. When Taranee began dancing I lost it. It was such a good scene! Only thing is that list was so long there’s no way they could’ve gotten through all of the places in one chapter! Dr. Folkner gave me the creeps and even through I know his agenda now his focus on Hay Lin was disturbing to watch. I really didn’t see her becoming a ragorlang and I felt it was a really good part of the plot. It made me wonder if it would effect her powers. It was a bit underwhelming how she got back to herself so quickly by the end of the volume. I just hope that the next and last volume isn’t too rushed and really focuses more on the plot instead of the side stories. I do enjoy the side stories but for a last volume I think all the action should be expected. On another note I really wanted to see what Matt’s email to Will said. Also, We has grown on me a lot. At first I was underwhelmed to the idea of a mascot/pet but now seeing his personality a bit more and how he can be a companion to visitors who stay at w.i.t.c.h. HQ, my thoughts have changed. Overall this was a better volume and I look forward to the next one.

Sometimes the story feels a little rushed and gets lost in the different plotlines in the last couple of these, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying them! There are some things I'd like to see expanded on, but there's still one more to go so it leaves me wanting more.

These Volumes 18 and 19 are I think among the nicest to read! They mainly focus on the school life of girls, their friends, habits etc and on the magical side, they have to visit various planets. Super cozy, that’s great. Two chapters in particular were out of the ordinary, the characters are deeper, touching, I love it!

This Ragorlang arc is the least developed, we talk about it quite little or we repeat some elements of the plot. There are only 2-3 intense moments with confrontations, but that’s what I liked. Rather turned towards the refreshing side of the real life of 5 teens full of life, than pure magic. Ironic for someone who loves Fantasy 😂 The Witch in their daily life!!

The stories were so well told and drawn that this Part is one of the best, if not THE best actually..

I'm always so happy to find the girls and their adventures.
But I have to admit that I really liked these volumes !!
I like the fact of seeing them grow, mature. And then the little stories on the side of the main one are really great and made me smile.
In short, I'm happy !

Its clear to me that there's often a little time between my readings of the graphic novels, as I was super confused why Matt wasn't in it. But as always, pleasure to read.
