Galactic Order #3

War for Earth

Rate this book
Three weeks ago, an alien species called the Vitat, invaded the earth. They broke through the earth’s atmosphere and decimated the human population in moments. Their goal? Nothing but destruction and to feed their endless appetites. Their hive queen orbits earth in their warship, waiting until her hive have taken over the planet and she can consume earth’s sun to grow her massive hive.

But the humans are not alone in their fight to regain control of their planet. Another alien species, the Dahk, have come to their aid by order of their king. But what Fihk, the Dahk acting commander, is unaware of, is that his king had his own agenda regarding the humans survival. As does the Galactic Council. The humans are not only in danger of the carnivorous Vitat, but also a council of several alien species dedicated in their endeavor to enslave them. Fihk’s own council and the Juldo Master at the helm.

As the humans try to fight back and survive one invasion, another is already underway.

Bailey

Every minute of everyday is now a struggle to survive. Just one minute to the next. My brother is my only concern. His safety is everything to me. But aliens are making that an impossible task. Not one species, but two. The white aliens just want to gnaw on us, but the new aliens, the Dahk, want something different. Specifically, two of them. Olynth can’t stand me but can’t let me go either, and Fihk, he’s made it clear Nate and I are to help him no matter that all I want to do is escape them. I can’t trust them. They want things from me I can’t give them. Survival is the only thing that matters, even if I have to go through an entire universe of species’ to get it. Even my own.

*This story is a standalone romance, but it is recommended that you read Pythen and Home World first. The underlying plot is a continuation from the first in the series, Pythen, and will continue on throughout the series.*

This is the third book in this series I actually decided to start from the beginning with this to refresh my brain so I reread book one and two to fully appreciate this one.
This fills in the blanks that were left when Tahk took Peyton off to Home World.

Tahk left Fihk behind on earth as acting commander in his stead.
His mission to impede the vitat invasion in whatever way he can whilst Tahk tries to get permission from the galactic council to interfere in the human invasion.
He also promised to locate Peyton’s mother Linda to repay a debt he feels he owes.

His task is not an easy one the humans are suspicious and hostile when it comes to the Dahk and there’s also rebellion brewing amongst their own species.
Whilst going recon on the planet surface Fihk and his team run into Bailey and her brother Nate, the former just trying to keep them both alive the best she can.

Bailey is initially sceptical and suspicious when it comes to these new aliens and that’s without all the sniffing and biting that just makes her even more skittish around them.
We learned in previous books all about the special bond of Pythe and Pythen well baileys hit the motherload here with two of these intense connections.

First, we have Olynth who because of past trauma and his iron control is able to hold back the mating rage he knows just who Bailey is to him but refuses initially to solidify this connection instead just watching over Bailey and keeping her safe.
Then Fihk is also affected and goes into a full-blown psycho mating rage with only one way out.

What I liked here was the struggle both males had initially with their instincts and jealousy’s it wasn’t an easy acceptance they never made her choose they just had to get there on their own terms and thankfully they both did.
Both males provide something very different for their mate and she loves them both equally.
So for clarification, there’s no M/M here and this was mostly one on one sessions and near the end, they come together to both pleasure Bailey on a couple of occasions but this is all about their mate and she’s the focus of it all and also their entire world.

This was a sexy hot read with plenty of chemistry Olynth is a beast between the sheets he’s all dominant control which included bondage and lots of growly orders.
Fihk has a much sweeter vibe but is still equally male and together they are protective and very possessive over their new mate.

Bailey and her brother are both foster kids and each other’s chosen family and as such Bailey doesn’t give her trust easily.
She’s defensive prickly and used to taking care of herself her priority is Nate and she like a ferocious mother bear when it comes to him.
Both Olynth and Fihk definitely had their work cut out in winning her over but their actions do speak louder than words.

This was action-packed very hot and a great addition to the series.
This is well written and the world-building is fabulous I’m incredibly excited to see where this series goes next.
Definitely recommend this series it’s one of my favourites.

I am so extremely conflicted about this book. I am in love with this story and how the author writes. But I absolutely hated what she did here. The Pythe/Pythen bond is such a huge deal and super important, so I was kind of ticked off that she created this shared bond with two males for one female. This practically tries to negate the whole point of the bond even existing if it's not one for one. Plus it simply didn't make sense with how these guys get when they find their mate. Despite being super hot, Please. No more like this. I was incredibly frustrated too because Fihk and Olynth each deserved their own book and female. Fihk because he's such a great guy, and Olynth because I could just see how him having his own would help him heal in many ways. It didn't help that I might have kind of hated Bailey. Okay, towards the very end she was a little more likable. But for the vast majority of the book I could not stand her!

Bailey was a foster kid that went from one bad house to the next. So she's developed a serious attitude problem and major distrust of everyone. The only good in her life would be her "brother" who was a foster kid in the same house for a few years until Bailey was old enough to be kicked out. When the Vitat attacked, it was for him that she ran to first. And together they have been fighting for survival. Until her brother manages to bring them to the attention of the new purple aliens.

Olynth quickly finds himself with a mate that he does not want. He's got a terrible past that we eventually get the cliffnotes version of, and it has given him no desire for a mate and the strength to resist his mating urges. Doesn't stop him from being practically attached to Bailey though.

Fihk is acting commander while Tahk is on Home World, and he's vowed to find Peyton's mother. He will get Bailey's help in this whether she agrees or not, and after she realized this group of Dahk can protect her and her brother better than she can, she agrees.

It's not long until all hell breaks lose and Fihk finds out that Bailey is his mate as well. Unfortunately he does not have the control Olynth does and he attacks Bailey in his need to have her. Messing with her mind and her destroying her trust in the Dahk. From there it's a lot of Bailey trying to figure out how to deal with these two huge aliens that have claimed her and her feelings for both of them. She's obviously conflicted about loving two guys, but their hostility towards each other over her doesn't help.

Besides all this relationship business, there is still the war against the Vitat. Fihk is doing all he can within his restrictions but it's not enough. It's not until the Kilbus Lord, Kil, shows up that things move forward on that front. But even as things start to look up with relations between the Dahk and the humans, humans are so goddamn stupid that they try to ruin things again. Throw in the betrayal of some of the Dahk, and things go up and down an awful lot until finally everything calms down after one last calamity. Bailey makes her choice on where she wants to live and it's time for the three of them to figure out a life together.

I love love LOVE Kil and I am desperately hoping he gets his own book and soon. Until then I will take Vivian and Hector's book next and keep looking forward to more.

I am enamored with this series. The different species are as real to me as the humans in this story with such vivid descriptions of those characters . I admit the Dahk are my favorite beings so far. This book centers around Fihk (male) Bailey (female) and Olynth (male). Bailey has grown up in foster care with not so great caregivers but definitely shaped her character into a survivor who has a lively personality. Fihk is bossy but caring with Bailey . Olynth is the dominant character who likes control in the bedroom but very protective of Bailey. The males are both mates to Bailey but it is well done with only a couple scenes with them all together in the bedroom. You receive plenty of steaminess one on one which also showcases the unique bond Bailey has with each of her mates. The plot is thought provoking which kept me glued to my kindle. I like when a book can make me feel a wide range of emotions which this one did easily. I recommend this book!

Hot, but.......

I love this author and this book would of been 5 stars across the board if we had just one hero. Olynth was that guy for me, Bailey had such a connection to him. I didn’t buy the two mates thing. Not with the way these guys are with a Pythe. I know I am going to be in a minority in this. If she hadn’t warned me and hinted about it this would of been a dnf. The scenes between the big guy and Bailey we amazing and oh so hot! I loved the new characters that she introduced and overall the book was great. I just don’t want to see this turn into a bunch of reverse harem books. I love series where they have two mates and they need to find the woman to complete them. It is awesome to have two hots guys focused on a girl. I felt like she was setting up a different world and showing these people they needed to find that one true mate to save them and pull out the slow birth rate.

Meh

The Fihk and Olynth menage felt super forced. Both of them deserved their own Pythe/book. I felt the book focused mainly on Olynth and Fihk was an afterthought. They were never together (until the very very end) as a unit. She had to either be with one or the other - and when they were together, Fihk was still the third wheel.

The whole forcing her to have sex with him to save Earth was already done.... In book 1. I rolled my eyes when it happened again.

It was just sad because I enjoyed both Fihk and Olynth (and even Nathan) over the heroine.

She seemed too judging and petty - she dresses nice and is too beautiful so I am going to get her the ugliest clothes.....and so many shallow comments.

I enjoy the whole Dahk and rest of the different alien species introduced. I just hope the next book has a better heroine and there isn't any more forced menage crap.

This is such a great twist on the Pythe/Pythen belief. Especially when it comes to humans, the rule book should just be tossed out! lol Loved that we got more of Earth’s destruction, and world building of this new Earth, along with equal time to get to know our main characters. Though honestly, I could do with a book #2 with all 3 of these characters again. *wink wink*

NO ... NO

I think this book was a big mistake. It have me a pose and I asked myself what is happening?
Dahk are possessive and territorial warriors but now we have menage. This story should be Olynth's not Fihk's. even the sex was forced as if there wasn't any connection or chemistry but pure physical passion.
In my opinion, Bailey sometimes was mean and annoying without any reason ex, she chose the ugliest clothes for sweet Linda, why? I don't know. However, the two heroes were great and I they didn't deserve to shove together with one mate. I wish there isn't another menage in this series.
Galactic Order is really an amazing series and I'm looking for more from E.R.

OH. MY. GALAXY. 🌌🔥 This book had me on the EDGE from page one. Erin Raegan came for my throat and my heart in equal measure.

👽 Double the aliens.
⚔️ Endless battles for survival.
💔 Emotional wreckage everywhere.
🔥 Enemies-to-lovers tension so sharp it cut me.

Bailey is out here trying to protect her brother while getting tangled up with not one, but TWO Dahk warriors (Olynth + Fihk = chaos, obsession, and possessive energy turned all the way up 😮‍💨🔥). The survival stakes are brutal, the betrayals sting, and the way the romance weaves into all that carnage?? Absolutely chef’s kiss.

This wasn’t just a war for Earth—it was a war for my HEART. 💜 Every chapter had me screaming “just one more,” until suddenly it was 3AM and I was wrecked, addicted, and plotting how fast I can grab the next book.

If you like your alien romances messy, dark, and hotter than a sun about to implode ☀️🔥, War for Earth will destroy you in the best way.

Excellent Story!

War For Earth is an outstanding book that continues the chronicles of the battle to save Earth from aliens seeking to enslave them. The heroes are also aliens! Loved these characters and their three-some love story!

Ok, whew...

I was almost ready to hate the book but Bailey didnt go on to be the 'distrustful manic pixie dream girl' I thiught she might be, so the book was saved. The connection between them didnt feel as fleshed out ( 3 characters, one short-ish book, bound to happen) but the smex was hot and fun and overall, Im def enjoying these books more then Ice Planet . I said that, yes.

Bailey and Fihk and Olynth

Turns out Bailey is a fated mate to two Dahk.

The Dahk fight a war on three or four fronts trying to save Earth.

Interesting twist on a ménage.

This book just didn’t work for me. It’s usually hard for me to stay invested in a book, especially when the I’m not a fan of the main characters and that’s exactly what happened with this one.

I thought the ménage couple felt too forced the very beginning and I get that the heroine was comfortable with her sexuality but she went from being terrified to into it way too quickly.

I also didn’t like that she slut-shamed her neighbour for sleeping around with men, calling her a hussy when.... you know what I mean. She also gets the double standards but it also didn’t stop her from slut-shaming her again. What a piece of work.

War for Earth is another excellent addition in the Galactic Order series. It's events and story do seem a bit transitional. More political intrigue and characters are introduced. The plot thickens nicely to carry this alien invasion SFR series on to many more additions with an expanding galaxy full of possibilities.

The sex scenes and chemistry are scorching in conjunction with the fact it is a mfm ménage. This one is more unique amongst most of the ménage/reverse harem settings of recent release. There is no premeditation on the part of the alien males to establish a ménage a trois. They are surprised to find that they are both destined to mate for life with the same human. The establishing of the permanent threesome relationship is challenging for them all. This major storyline was written fabulously with great interwoven sex.

On to Galactic Order #4.

I'm enjoying the series, it pretty good. This was my least favorite so far because of the two mates scenario. When they find their fated mates they are very territorial and possessive. I didn't feel this was true to their nature. Two very different men end up mating Bailey and going back to home world. Overall the story line was still very interesting. The dynamics of the political Home World is intriguing . Can't wait for the The Shadow Born Hector.

A little uncomfortable.....

I liked this series but only read this book in case they inserted characters from previous books. I was uncomfortable with harem concept. For those who are comfortable with concept I suggest you read. Otherwise you can skip and move to the next book in the series.

3.5 stars.

It was good. The M/F/M pairing I honestly could’ve done without, I wish they had just one mate. Despite that, it was still a decent read. I liked the world building. I still want to know how the Judal (?) kings human female slave is doing. I think she was mentioned in the second book of the series? I want to read her story.

Here’s the thing. I expected to absolutely hate this book. Knowing it was a reverse harem, my biggest book pet peeve, I went into it annoyed that the author would have this theme in the middle of the series. Being a completionist when it comes to books and series I soldiered through it and now having finished the book I got to admit that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either.

It was actually probably a good thing I went into it with the worst expectations, because it made me more susceptible and blown away by the things in the story that was working really well, the drama and conflicts being that. It also helped that it was first only one male drawn to her, making me only have to deal with one relationship at a time and not two crammed together. It built up nicely with some tenseness and struggles. However, when one relationship did become two it also added a little drama and jealousy that I enjoyed, but that is pretty much the only thing I enjoyed after that point about the romance. All three characters got over their issues with the the two way bond way too easily and quickly and after that their acceptance and enjoyment of the threesome just felt too unrealistic and too ridiculous for me to find any liking to it.

I can’t blame it all on the reverse harem either. No matter how I tried to get behind Bailey I couldn’t. She was way too selfish and self absorbed for me to like her. Her only good quality was her compassion and caring for her brother. That was the only time I felt that I got to see some humanity from her. Otherwise she just came across as rude and overly entitled. Sure, she had trust issues because of her upbringing, but mistrust and bitchyness doesn’t and shouldn’t necessarily go hand in hand. While I did enjoy the struggles that brought at some points in the story it also made the relationship at some moments ugly to me. Because the picture I got from the story was that she was pretty much top dog in the relationship and the guys were almost like servants, doing and being anything they could for her. Although the story had moments where it showed equality between the three and even her bending to their own wills, those were far and few between.

If there is one good thing that came out of reading this it is that I am more accepting of reverse harem. Not so much that I enjoy or even like the genre now, but it certainly wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and it is always good to try new things, right? Although, I wish that the author hadn’t chosen to put it in the middle of a series. In a way it is forcing us readers who enjoy the series to read something many of us dislikes. Her work is of course her own so she is free to do whatever she likes with it, but if she likes to try a new genre that is so controversial (for lack of better word) I and probably many others would prefer she made it a stand alone or a new series instead. Now, I wouldn’t go so far as to say I hated the three bonds romance. There were moments I enjoyed, but in all I had difficulty with it. Not as much as I expected to in the beginning, it could have been worse after all, and that is probably why I feel a bit more lenient with the rating. The whole conflict on earth and the tenseness between aliens and humans helped me enjoy the story as well and I am curious to see how the whole galactic order and human conflict will be resolved.

I was super excited to read this third installment of An Alien War Romance series. This book is about Bailey and her personal journey where she starts as a survivor from an alien invasion and ends up a Pythe of not one but two Dahk warriors. From previous books we learned that the Dahk have a deep godsent mating bond, the Pythe and Pythen bond. While this type of mating bond is so rare (hasn't happened in over a milenia) it appears that human females are not only compatible but can be a Pythe to a Dahk. Enter Bailey and her Pythens.
Surviving among the devastation that is now Earth after the initial alien invasion, Bailey has only one goal in mind: to keep her brother Nathan safe from any and all dangers, alien or human. They come across the Dahk and immediately Bailey sees them as a threat. The Dahk are an alien race that want to protect the humans and ensure their survival. In her first encounter she meets Olynth, a massively violent brute who immediately feels the she is his Pythe. Olynth denies the attraction and refuses to submit to the mating rage. Later we learn that he holds back because his marred violent past has made him into the senseless heartless warrior and he does not wish to expose Bailey to this side of him.
As we see Bailey struggle with her feelings of whether to trust the Dahk or remain on her own, she faces being attacked by the alien invaders who want to eat humans and other humans who want to rape her. In all of this Olynth emerges as her savior but soon enough Fihk, the acting Commander, reveals his interest for Bailey. Before we know it, Bailey is also Pythe to Fihk, which totally complicates the dynamics between Bailey and the two Dahk. The Pythe and Pythen bonding is extremely rare and two Dahks bonded to the same Pythe is probably unheard of.
The three must now navigate uncharted waters when it comes to their desires and ultimately arrive to the conclusion that without Bailey both of her Dahks will perish. And as if that wasn't enough, there are alien races who want to enslave humans, even plotting against the Dahk to achieve this. It was a super packed story with action, conspiracy, betrayal, lust and passionate mates. Can't wait for the next book!

Galactic Order is turning out to be one of my favorite sci-fi series. Although, I liked books 1 & 2 better, I still enjoyed this story.
As always with Erin, her characters are likable. Bailey was a kick-ass character and I like heroines that are fighters. I loved the way she cared for Nate like he was her own fresh and blood brother.

I honestly thought the trio—fate choosing Bailey to be bonded to 2 aliens was a different concept of mates and I was totally fine with it. The romance was steamy. I enjoyed it and I also liked both hero’s. However, I will say that towards the end, I thought the sex was overkill and not needed. The epilogue was where I thought the sex was unnecessary. Bailey seeing their planet, meeting their family, and the king was all told in telling. I would have liked it better if those concepts were given to us in showing instead of another extended sex scene. Or either also showed Bailey’s transition as well and giving another sex scene—instead of only giving us a brief explanation of it.
Other than that this novel had a lot of great things going on for it. The plot was so engaging it was hard to put down. Explosions, action, suspense, and steamy romance--the perfect invasion thriller. The author writes thrilling sci-fi. As I said in the beginning, I love this series and the Darhk. I look forward to the next book being back on the Darhk planet and what’s going to happen next with Juldo and the New King.

When rejection instead of love has been your norm... a Mate is an unexpected surprise

Bailey and her foster brother Nathan love and trust each other, but having grown up in the system, they don’t have much trust to spare, or much experience with love. Fihk has taken command of the fleet while Tahk is on home world (the previous two books) and he and Olynth balance one another in their leadership styles and mindsets... not to say they ever considered blending their personal lives... but when the Universe gives you a gift, who says No?

I love the rich tapestry of characters in each story, here Nathan, Linda and Nick were fun, and I hope the Kilbus leader gets a story at some point.

A fun kindle Unlimited done in one that ties in tightly to the preceding stories, while managing to stand alone.

Such a great story!

Wow. I am impressed with this author. This book is just as epic as the previous! Besides hitting all the right things for a great romance, this author took time to hit the little things too! Just a small spoiler: the absolute agony that Bailey goes through because she’s got two guys and she doesn’t want to share them with another female is fricken awesome! Bailey is a powerhouse woman for putting her selfishness aside for the sake of fairness. I LOVED IT! Also, if you’re reading this spiked and going “NO!” it does work itself out perfectly, so no worries there. But come on! You gotta love that the author deals with the little details while WINNING A WAR AGAINST ALIEN INVASION! So good. Definitely recommend to all sci-fi fans!

A Little Hard to Read

Once again, much like books one and two, the story is fine, the characters are fine. My issue is still that the author has this solid plot, then overloads it with unnecessary sex scenes. They do not advance the story at all, so they become gratuitous and boring. Aside from that, this one proved tougher to really get into because it reads as though it did not see an alpha or beta readers, much less an editor. The amount of grammatical errors in this one was pretty dang high, as well as other issues. It kinda turned me off the book a little, and made me incredibly glad it was KU. Not sure if I’ll read more, as I feel like all the really juicy and interesting stuff is over.

I am in love with Olynth and he deserved a mate all of his own. That's all I'm gonna say. If he ever wants to leave that annoying girl please send him my way. Wee Nate and her relationship with him was so sweet though.

Wasn't a fan of the 2 mates thing and I'm glad it won't be continuing as I believe Dahks are far too possessive for that shizz.

I have to admit I was holding off for forever to read this book when I realised it was a 2 mate deal but I honestly love this world, the characters and the storyline so I decided to bite the bullet and do it and I'm glad I did because now I can move on to Veveen's story!

The books keep getting better and better

Excellent and highly anticipated 3rd book in the Galactic Order series and the books keep getting better and better. I don't know how the author does it. The world keeps expanding but Ms Raegen manages to pull all the characters back in even though the majority of this book brought us back to Earth and the continued battle and protection of the humans left behind.

These books have action, adventure, and romance. And wow to the romance as this book has steam. Looking forward to book 4 coming soon in April 2019
