Another snack gobbled up. Quick, easy, enjoyable swallow. Another involving a Perkins witch in a town called 'Accident'. The story moves away from the past books, though, by having the witch become romantically entangled by someone not-a-demon (though some still seen the critter in that kind of column).
Ophelia works as a paramedic. As such she's constantly fighting to keep her patients alive. Somewhere along the way she has noticed a ghost (maybe a ghost? she's not sure) who keeps turning up when she's treating the most critical patients. One thing leads to another and it turns out that it isn't a ghost, but a reaper, that she keeps seeing out of the corner of her eye.
Being who and what she is, she asks the reaper on a date. Reaper poofs without answering. Mind -the book opened, again, from the male POV - the reaper - and he's kind of drooling over the woman POV. Certain events unfold and the reaper becomes something other than a reaper - and the two date and stuff.
As noted, a quick easy snack of a book (I'm quite hungry now. Stupid me. Constantly mentioning snacks).
