Otro pequeño gran libro que he leído en Barnes and Noble. Perros, dibujos y frases cortas que serán la delicia de los optimistas y amantes de perros. Le hubiese dado una estrella más pero previo a este había leído otro que me ha gustado más.
Such a cute book... it may talk about dogs but it applies to us as well, we should learn from dogs, they are great friends and teachers. I love Emma's work, it always makes me happy.
This was pretty fun! The illustrations are quite childlike, and a little too naive for my taste, but they get their message across. The sayings - "advice" - are cute and what you would expect from this little book. Not a lot new here, but a cute, quick read that will bring a smile to your face, whether or not you like dogs!
Beautiful little book. Very concise instructions with perfect illustrations. Wise and funny. I enjoyed this WAY more than the book the title alludes to, so don't let that put you off, you might see it the same way
This book summarised characteristics of dogs with simple yet smooth illustrations, supplemented with short texts to shine lights on life wisdom that we could learn from this furry friend.
Beautiful pictures and such true words. I have learned so much about being a better peraon from my dogs and it was cool to see all the lessons we can learn from them presented this way!!
Even though this was a very short read for me I loved it! Each page had a little saying that applies to dogs and can apply to us and our life too! 🐕🦺❤️🐕🦺
I absolutely love the whimsical way Emma Block illustrates animals—dogs, in this case. She is based in the UK and has done illustrations for a variety of businesses and publishers. She also holds workshops in the UK. (‘Wish I lived there!)
Note: Many of you may want to ‘Share’ a sample with your nearest and dearest because the illustrations are so darned cute, but legally you may not, at least not without first obtaining permission from the illustrator and UK publisher who hold the copyrights (for illustrations and text, respectively). I suggest buying the book as a gift!
