the gratuitous nudity and treatment of the female characters is really really aggravating but i’m too invested in the story at this point.
this is the one side of certain mangas that i absolutely hate. we don’t need titty shots every other panel and to just use women as sex toys and props for assault is absolute SHIT. please please do better.
the best volume so far is the one that showcases the delicious murder of one of the protagonists.

It feels weird to try and comment on each volume of a manga. I never rated sequels before cause I was a reading goal purist and then realized that nothing mattered. That said, idk what to write here.
The story is surprisingly good. Questions are answered with more questions and the pacing is fantastic. Shoutout to hoopla's horror manga shelf. 3.5 rounded up

Si torna indietro nel tempo, quando Haruka si è procurata la cicatrice sulla spalla. Ci sono solo due persone che sanno della sua esistenza. E una di loro è proprio l'autore delle telefonate a Shintaro e ai suoi amici. Con un segreto che i colleghi hanno tentato di nascondere.
Anche Ryu si sta dimostrando un gran personaggio, mentre lo stesso non si può dire delle due ragazze. Sembrano messe lì solo per essere mostrate. Anche quando son lì che si confrontano... Beh, non vedevo l'ora che finisse per vedere come vanno avanti le indagini.
Letto mentre ero in posta. Prima eravamo dentro in tre, più l'impiegata e la cliente allo sportello. Poi l'impiegata si è ricordata è ha cacciato fuori tutti tranne me, che ero la prossima. E star fuori con 3° ad aspettare il proprio turno...

Mit dem fünften Band berappelt sich die Serie nach dem Tiefpunkt im vorigen Band. Der Band fokussiert sich auf die Gruppenkonflikte und die inneren Kämpfe, die in Shintaro, als „Auslöser“ des Mords vor fünf Jahren, toben. Dies hat sich inzwischen als Stärke der Serie entwickelt und wirkt wie Faustschläge in der Magengrube.
Die tatsächliche Fortschreibung der Geschichte rückt in den Hintergrund: Shintaro und Ryu glauben zu wissen, wer ihr Erpresser ist.

Un tome beaucoup plus intéressant que les autres je trouve. On avance petit à petit mais c'est vraiment lent comme histoire.

Nel mese di febbraio, anche se all’ultimo momento, volevo dedicarmi alla conclusione di questo manga.

Ovviamente ho fallito MA sicuramente lo concluderò a Marzo.

Non so se qualcuno ricorda ma per quest’anno avevo l’obiettivo di leggere 5 manga al mese. Gennaio sono riuscita ma febbraio, per cause di forza maggiore no.

Ho deciso comunque che barerò e che a Marzo leggere 1-2 manga in più per per recuperare ciò che non ho letto a Febbraio azzerando così il debito (mi imbroglio da sola 😂)

Ma adesso parliamo di questo quinto volume. Se qualcuno ricorda le mie precedenti recensioni ho amato questo manga sin dal primo volume!

Il quinto è meno movimentato rispetto ai precedenti ma è comunque molto interessante.

Ci sono diverse rivelazioni sui segreti che ognuno porta con se e si inizia a investigare su un nuovo personaggio che poi si rivela... NON POSSO DIRLO!

Scopriamo nuove informazioni sul passato di Haruka che diventa sempre più Pasqualina passa guai.

Mi è piaciuto molto questo volume ma, appunto, essendo di transizione è stato meno intenso rispetto ai precedenti. 4.5⭐️

The bonds between the leads are really strained now. This volume is mostly focused on the collapsing friendships and high tensions and it think because of this, the story hasn’t progressed too much. Shin is following gut instinct when it comes to finding out who the phone guy is, mostly without letting the others know, and his results are unexpected to say the least. Again, this series does feature serious themes and graphic content (su*cide, abuse, murder, blackmail, sexual content featuring minors, and gore) so keep that in mind if you’re considering reading. The addition of the bonus story at the end of the group one year before the start of the series was a nice touch. I’m invested in the story and interesting to see what will happen in the remaining two volumes.
