Whatever Sophia does, she does it most brilliantly and with passion. Some of her recipes are awful but most are delicious and don't contain any animal ingredients (salads mainly). But I enjoyed reading the book and loved the pictures more.

i remember i tried in the 90s her recipe for crepes with ricotta cheese

you rolled up 4-6 crepes with ricotta inside and some on the top to bake in the oven
maybe there was a bit of tomato sauce inside, heck i can't remember anymore

i just thought, i need fancier ricotta to make this taste a lot better
but it was neat to try it for the first time
