Amazing back story to the Vampire Girl series. I would suggest reading Cooper Snare before starting the series. Vampire Girl is an amazing book series written by great authors. The Vampire Girl series is perfect for anyone that hasn't read them yet to binge read during the chilly fall days or the cold winter days. I would give this series a 10 star rating if I could. I hope anyone that reads them enjoys them as much as I have, they leave you wanting more.
The Vampire Prince of Sloth, Ace Vane, hides behind a mantle of laziness and disinterest. It disguises the fact that he is a dedicated inventor (along the lines of Leonardo da Vinci or Thomas Alva Edision - with a touch of steampunk MacGyver thrown in). Elven warrior Malin is not lacking in the brains department either. "Copper Snare", a prequel to the Vampire Girl series, tells the story of how the two meet and recognise a bond between them. It's quite short (62 pages on my tablet) but manages to pack a lot in. I'll definitely read the series but am not in any great hurry to do so. 3 Stars.
So excited to see the possible beginning of this fantastic relationship!! What comes next is going to be spectacular! Your two never let your readers down! Your creativity, imagination and love for the characters is amazing! Thank you!
Loved how The Prince of Sloth and Malin get together. I read this after reading all the Vampire Girl books. Wish I would've read this first. In another lifetime.
This was a quick but shallow read. Odd to read something in KKs world, but not in their voice (I've never been much of a fanfiction reader). Definitely lacking their flare and visuals.
Good book as a prequel. I only wish I hadn't read the whole vampire girl series first. The female in this book was great but in the series final books it never shows Ace getting his girl back. This one is a short read. Easily read in an hour or so.
This was as good as anything else they have ever written and that I have manage to read this far, but I somehow felt that it needed that happy ending as other books. Like the jump of 100 years when the slavery was done.
0.5 prequel to the Vampire Girl series. The back story of Ace, the Prince of Sloth, where he meets a unique, intelligent fae woman that he’s attracted to. It shows how progressive and gifted he is that the vampires should be proud of.
I haven't actually read the full series, but I picked up this short novella because I wanted to see if the series is one I could safely start on. And I think it is.
I love all the vampire girl books.... And this started out perfect but then right when I thought the story was getting great , it ended.... And a crappy one at that
I liked this book a lot. I felt bad for the Price of Sloth, Ace, because Malin and he, weren't meant to be together, even though they both felt that pull.
