Warning Spoilers!!
Five kingdoms book two, The Rogue Knight, by Brandon mull is about a kid named Cole who travels to the Outskirts and looks for a way to get back home to Arizona. In book two, Mira and her friends Cole, Twitch, Jace, and now Joe are looking for Mira's older sister Honor who is somewhere in Elloweer. Once they reach Elloweer, the group runs into Ansel who is the slaver from the beginning of the series. After escaping him, they go to an illusion house to get disguises for Cole and Mira so they will be safe. As they are traveling, they get word that a special prisoner is being held at the prison in Elloweer. after they go through all the trouble of finding the prisoner, they figure out that it is actually Brady who made Dream World. To get Honor, they need to go to Trillian, which is a super powerful guy who captured her. So Cole, Jace, Mira, Twitch, and Joe go to rescue her. After that, they work as a team to destroy Morgassa who was wreaking havoc on Elloweer.
The main conflict of this story is, they need to find Honor, and defeat Morgassa. during the story, after they rescue Honor, they go searching for Callista, the Grand Shaper of Elloweer. Because they chose to do that instead of rushing strait into battle, they were able to get helpful insight on how to defeat Morgassa, and some awesome weapons to help them along there way. Minimus, one of the Rogue Knight's knights gets the choice to become disconnected to the Rogue Knight, so if anything happens to him, Minimus will stay the same. Because of that choice, when the Rogue Knight died, Minimus stayed the same and was able to protect everyone. After the battle with Morgassa, Sky chose to go see Trillian because Callista told her to when she died and passed on the Grand Shaper title to her. Sky is the person who gave Cole and Mira their disguises. Because of that choice, Sky was able to learn how to be the next Grand Shaper of Elloweer.
This book is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Fable haven series, or just loves a good fantasy. This book is great because it is relatable to almost everyone. Missing your family at some point, being loyal to friends, making tough decisions, and much more. Over all this is a n amazing book, and would recommend it to everyone.
