Judging by the sounds of extreme distress coming from the review corner, I'm gonna go ahead and assume this is gonna hurt like a bitch. *nervous laughter* I'm sure I'll be fine. Not like I'm emotionally attached to these characters or anything. Not like I have multiple posters of these characters on my wall or anything. I'm sure I'll be fineeee.

It has been… I don’t even know how many years since I last set eyes on this particular issue.

In honor of the release of the long, long, long-awaited Issue #55, I decided to dive back into #54 and bruise my emotions all over again.

Yup, it still hurts.

why it gets harder every issue? why? I don't understand why BKV makes everything harder? is he trying to lose a reader?
description
I personally do not have any reason to continue reading this series. I'm seriously wondering whether I should stop reading this or not, I mean I've read all 54 issues, but damn... this shit is getting ridiculously depressing. The excitement that was there with the first couple of issue is wearing off, now it's just death and gore porn. I still not over . I honestly tired of all that misery don't know if I will read this anymore.

should I say goodbye now?

Read this if you like: (very) graphic novels, cool art courtesy of Fiona Staples, diverse characters, lgbtqia, robots, space operas, banters, little nuggets of wisdom, interplanetary adventures, smuts that trigger revolutions, a peaceful day at the beach gone terribly and heartbreakingly wrong, father daughter moments, unending cycle of revenge

Do you think if we grovel enough, Fiona and Brian will come out and end their (frickin') INTERMISSION so we can all know if there's cure for death in the story?

My book hangover will be as long as their Intermission godsdam*it.

Why must you hurt me (and why do I still love you guys)

Once again Saga has got me fucked up. Not only with how this issue ended, but also the fact that we have to wait (at least) a whole year before next issue comes out. Damn you Vaughan and Staples!

7/25, 18:00 CST: A bit late to add this on, but "most shocking arc" my foot. What was supposed to be so shocking? Developments on the war? The war's been in the background so much that the new developments Sir Robot claimed to be true were like white noise.
I don't care about the war. I understand that it's the thing that's keeping this family on the run, but that's not what I'm invested in. The last two arcs were more shocking in my opinion.

This didn't even cover a fake news scandal because the evidence behind it is so fuzzy.
Or maybe I'm overlooking something. I dunno. This is the latest arc of Saga, and maybe this arc will have a greater impact in future installments, but right now I'm not feeling the punch from that element of the arc.

--------------------------
Puns are how I cope with bad situations. So have one and some opossum hissing about how the plot went under the spoiler cut.

Pun:
I'll be in the trash heap if you need me.

And now my Hissing:

I'll stick around for one more arc to see where this is going, but after this I don't know...
