This volume is primarily about Sebas who is coming in to his own moral dilemmas as he takes in a girl nearly at death's door. Will his humanity cause problem's for Ainz as corrupted officials and criminals come knocking for answers? Only time will tell how much a simple act of kindness will change a person such as Sebas but he may have to make some hard decisions so as to not endanger his mission. After all with Ainz trying to kill his own humanity to serve as a better master how appropriate would it be that the greatest butler in the series should be growing more so. :)
What a great volume, loved the story of Sebas taking in a wounded woman. Only to be scrutinised by other members who follow Ainz, they said he'd get in trouble for it and he did but it was from humans and Ainz isn't currently involved.
Out of all the Overlord crew not many characters stand out but this one has me aboslutley loving Sebas, as a charcter said in this "he's just so cool". Everything he does is so calculated and for him to do something off the wimp, it's so off the cuff but at the same time so interesting. He's easily shot up to be my second favorite after Ainz, of course.
Sebas follows some... inherent programming?... left over from his creator and picks up a stray human and all the problems attached to her. Solution starts to wonder if Sebas is thinking clearly... or becoming a threat to Nazarick.
Meanwhile, Ainz is struggling to earn enough money for Nazarick to function in this slightly off new world.
I really love when a series is good enough to pretty much dedicate a volume to some side characters which happened in this one.
More about Sebas and solutions mission in the capital and the developments in this arc is really interesting and I cant wait to see how it develops from here
