I really enjoyed these books. I loved the characters and the love stories. There was quite a bit of adventure in these stories; there are some violent scenes in the books, which I didn't care for. Only a couple of small things made me rate this 4 stars instead of 5. This book is a clean book with no sex scenes or foul language, which I appreciated. The characters did seem to swear a lot but we didn't have to know the words they used. Near the beginning of the first story, it was mentioned that both Phillip and Jake were sexually experienced, but always bugs me. They supposedly treated women very well, but what about the women they had sex with?? Also in the third book, I think it was highly unlikely that Phillip would have (or that Sarah or Heather would have let him) put Alis in the living situation he did. I think their blossoming romance would have happened without that. So small things that didn't much dampen my enjoyment of these stories.

#1 A Laird's Promise
This was perhaps the typical highlander Laird type tale, with a good backstory as well a romantic undertone that kept things interesting.
The inaction between Phillip and Sarah, along with the rest of the clan to the Laird was what really ensured the dynamics work effectively for the reader.
#2 A Rebel's Desire
Heather had her own reasons to want to learn how to use weapons. So, bribing a local lad to pass on his knowledge, meeting late at night to practice undetected.
That was until Jake started to become suspicious of her nocturnal wanderings.
This is where there friendship started, but a life and death ordeal is where they learned their true feelings for each other.
#3 An Outcast's Wish

I picked this boxed set because it was in Kindle Unlimited and I really liked the cover.
What I didn't know, until finishing the first book was that it is a clean romance. Honestly? I don't even miss the sexy times! I was entirely wrapped up in the storylines and the characters. It has been such an enjoyable read for me. And another positive thing? There are many books in this series, so it makes me really happy and I am looking forward to reading some more for this new to me author.
Now I do have to say that there were times I felt like the books could have used a touch more editing because of repeated ideas or topics the characters spoke or thought. But it never took away from my enjoyment of the books.

Have enjoyed books set in the Highlands for many, many years. Thoroughly enjoyed these three books by author Aileen Adams! Ms Adams tied the books together through the setting and characters, but kept me guessing on a number of occasions as I read through these books. Stayed up late and got up early to read! Defintely fabulous books and I will be looking to read more from Ms. Adams in the future!

Entertaining
This is a Good story with the characters developed in great ways. The descriptions of the many trial and tribulation the actions took through were masterfully described I could feel the pains and other sensations as I read them. It was reading reality. It was a most entertaining virtual reality

Duncan Men Find Love
A collection of 3 books in a series about the Duncan clan in the highlands of Scotland and the love that 3 of the men found with women from outside their clan. I really enjoyed these books and think that anyone who likes historical romances should enjoy them too.

A great set of historical novels!
I must say I thoroughly enjoyed all three books. I really didn’t find a favorite, all three qualified as that. Each in its own setting was a remarkable story. They entwined so well there is no break in the excitement. Good stories, thank you, Jack.

Highlands
This box set is is well worth it if you have to pay for it. The Duncan Clan is heart-warming but ruthless if need be. The love they have for their clan is endless. I will be reading the rest of the series because I'm hooked on finding out if Hugh finds someone for himself too. Very good reading.. I would have loved to live back then..

Superhuman feats,
even for Highland Scots, of strength and quick recovery from dire wounds. The third story seemed a bit contrived and sets up the next saga. The books are best read in order.

Great
I really enjoyed the first three books in this series. Lots of twists and turns and stuborness from both the men and women. But in the end love wins out. I have the next books to read now.

An Awesome Highland Adventure
A great set for anyone looking for a great Highland adventure. I could not stop reading once I began. Author Aileen Adams has written a masterpiece! I can't wait to see what Books 4-6 has in store!

Good book
This book was a good. I wish there was a little bit more romance. I'm not a huge fan of clean books but this one was okay. It did peak my interest to read the other books.

Good set of books
I really enjoyed this set of books. They were full of romance, love and adventure. They were really well written and had no glaring mistakes. Can hardly wait till I start the next set of books which I bought today.

I absolutely loved it that I'm reading the next boxed set. There's chivalry, bravery in the women, everything you could ask for in a romance. The set is wonderful, you get to know and fall in love with all the characters. You just want to know more about all of them!

Great book set
I had read the 4th book first and then the first three. All can be read independent but better together. Loved the 4th book so got the other 3 and enjoyed them all.

Book 1 was okay
Sarah gets kidnapped because of her healing abilities and quickly falls in love with her abductor. The romance/love seemed rushed.
Books 2 and 3 were better.

Beautiful stories
I enjoyed reading these 3 stories, I know some of the same fueds went on as long there are humans around. My husband's family had this going on for years.
