Picked this up at a used book sale about a year ago while suffering severe burnout at work. I've since left that company...only to realize that some bad habits have followed me into my new job. This book offers ideas and actions to take to regain balance as well as recognize and adopt some necessary changes in mindset. It's mostly common sense, but once you've fallen into the trap of being the perfectionist or the super hero, common sense seems to go out the window. I may hang on to this book for a little while longer.

I like the concepts on this book and how it focuses on thinking about left / right brain duality and coming up with creating ways to incorporate more fun into your life. I expected more of a diet and nutrition focus but actually this book helped to open up new perspectives.

I reached for this book during a period of burnout and uncertainty about continuing my job. It guided me in evaluating my efforts, recognizing my shortcomings, and understanding my employer's flaws in the role I held for three years. Ultimately, it empowered me to resign from that position, opening doors to new opportunities and skill development.

The real-life examples presented in the book are relatable and eye-opening. It has become my go-to resource for maintaining focus on my job while prioritizing self-care. It may have fallen short on the last chapter, but the insights within its pages have significantly reduced work-related exhaustion and reignited my excitement for life.

"I read this book many years ago. I liked it because it talks about tools and techniques that we can use to make our work life more balanced and less chaotic. It talks about prioritization, planning and organizing, it talks about doing home work. This is a good book for those who ususally tend to go home from work feeling exhausted and drained.

A lot of the advice was common sense - make time for yourself, pay attention to your biorhythms, etc. I think it just came at the right time in my life or the information was presented better than I've seen it presented before, though, because I think it clicked this time around.

this book was dumb. I couldn't finish it and don't want to anymore.
