An odd mish-mash of scientific information held together by too little story.

153 pages. Another episode with these brainy characters who are concerned with the preservation of the earth. There are lots of facts and information on the earth, plastic footprint, weather and once again some cool knots are involved. Mr. Chimp endures some unfair moments when the reader will really feel sorry for him. I like the character development and science infusion. The plot was not as exciting as the other books in the series, but still very good. Kids will enjoy this one. Highly recommended for Grades 5.

I'm very disappointed with this book, It included lots of great science, had lots of potential, yet is so blatantly anti-human, that I don't feel it would be edifying for my children to read. I prefer to offer them hope and encouragement with the need for change.

Nu au fost atat de multe faze amuzante pe cât mă așteptam. Am aflat informații noi.

Very alarmist and anxiety-inducing, given that it's for kids....

As a former science teacher, I appreciate all the vocabulary and teachings in the book. I'm sure there's an audience for this book. It's not me.

I love these books. So much science and the whole series could really be used in a variety of grade levels.

This one is perfect for our fifth unit : Sharing The Plant. There is so much related to alternative energy.
Lumpy the Lump of Coal “Fossil Fuels Are Cool!” Rap is perfect.
