Super Potato is kidnapped by Zort, a space slug who collects rare creatures from across the galaxy. But with the help of Zort's put-upon robot helper, Super Potato stages an outer-space jailbreak.
This was a short but really cool little book. The story is about Super Potato who is hanging out on Earth, training and getting stronger, when he is captured by the Slug King! The Slug King is trying to capture an Earthling to complete his collection of kidnapped creatures from other planets. I thought that this was a cute little book that would be great for a younger audience (but was still enjoyable for me as well). The artwork was really great and cartoon-ish which I felt goes well with this book. I think that this book would be a great addition to any collection. I would recommend this for younger kids that are fans of superheros or space themed books.
This book is just as stupid as you expect it to be by the title. And kids will love it. Its a graphic novel for the younger set, minus the potty humor, but plus the ridiculous. A quick and fun read for any age, but mostly preferred by ages 5-10
This is a fun story with the unlikely hero of Super Potato. Imagine the aliens surprise when they come to earth to take a prisoner for their zoo and the first person they meet is a superhero who is a potato. Putting him in their inter-galactic zoo is a big mistake, because of course Super Potato escapes and saves the day and the earth. I know this will find fans among my students.
I didn't like this as much as the first. Moving Super Potato out of his element like that in the second book feels too soon for the character. I want to see him fight everyday crime as a potato. Now *that* would be funny.
children's graphic novel - 3rd grade (reviewed from uncorrected egalley) brief adventure starring a super potato whose main powers are flying and punching. Not the best/funniest superhero story out there, but probably the only one with a potato.
Funny and off-beat like the first volume. Super potato faces Zort the slug king this time. Strength won’t be enough. Super potato will have to do something that doesn’t come naturally....think!
Super Potato is out getting some exercise when he is captured by an alien. Can Super Potato break out and get back home to Earth? Fans of graphic novels and superheroes will enjoy this light-hearted adventure. A good introduction to graphic novels for younger elementary students.
