This was a delightful book on the artist Raphael. Funny and educational, I actually correctly answered one of the Jeopardy questions about Pope Julius and Michaelangelo just from having read it earlier that day.

Mike Venezia's books for children about artists are fantastic.

Good book, well done. Gives basic info on the artist and how things were done in that time. Lots of images and comparisons.

Easy for kids to get a grasp on Raphael, and bring him to life.

My opinion of this book is basically I thought it was splendid. Each page had new information about what Raphael did. Some of his painting were based on great artists. His paintings were so good they let him architect things in important places. But overall this book is one of the best books I have read and I hope that the next one I read will be just a good as this one.
