Hi everyone! My name is Ariel, and today I’m going to tell you all about an amazing book called Plants vs. Zombies Volume 10: Rumble at Lake Gumbo. If you love action, adventure, and a bit of silliness, this book is perfect for you!

In this story, Dr. Zomboss, who is the bad guy, finds out about a place called Lake Gumbo near Neighborville. As soon as he knows about it, he sends his huge Gargantuars to Muscle Beach, where they start causing trouble. But that's not all! Bungee zombies are playing volleyball, and Dr. Zomboss uses a giant underwater drill to make the lake all dirty and yucky. Yuck!

Our heroes, Nate, Patrice, and the always-crazy Crazy Dave, see what’s going on and know they have to stop it. They get ready with lots of cool plants like Tangle Kelp and Party Crabs to fight off the zombie invasion. It’s so exciting to see how they use all the different plants to battle the zombies. Plus, there's a new group called the Security Gourd, which sounds super tough, and a new character named Kelptomaniac, who is really unique and interesting.

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the pig-dog Twister! He comes back to help out too, and he’s one of my favorite characters because he’s so funny and brave.

The book is written by Paul Tobin and illustrated by Ron Chan, who have worked on the Plants vs. Zombies series before. They do such a great job making the story fun and the pictures really colorful and exciting. There are also bonus stories by Kevin Burkhalter and Christianne Goudreau, which add even more fun to the book.

One of the things I love about this book is how it mixes humor with action. The zombies are really silly, and the plants have all kinds of cool abilities. It’s always surprising to see what they will do next! The story also teaches a good lesson about teamwork and protecting the environment, because Nate, Patrice, and Crazy Dave have to work together to save Lake Gumbo from pollution.

If you’re a fan of the Plants vs. Zombies games, you will definitely love this book. Even if you’ve never played the games, the story is easy to follow and super entertaining. I give Plants vs. Zombies Volume 10: Rumble at Lake Gumbo a big thumbs up!

Thanks for reading my review. I hope you check out this awesome book and have as much fun reading it as I did.

The book was very interesting for it had a lake filled with mud due to the giant machine Dr. Zomboss or The “Head zombie” invented. The 2 main characters were Nate and some orange-haired girl whose name I forgot, but another main character is Crazy Dave. He’s pretty much the brains behind the brawn. He seems very “Stupid” but he can invent insane things. First, he made an army of living plants made to fight the zombies. Basically, the book was about Zomboss polluting the lake and they try to fix it. Nates the Food Addict, Crazy Dave Is, Well Crazy and The orange-haired girl is the sanest and most mature out of the both of them. Although she is also pretty crazy and somewhat barely similar to Nate.

I feel like the entire series is just great. It's based on the video games 1 & 2. They somehow made it better by adding comedy bits and fan made comic strips at the end. Honestly I just enjoy reading it for a good laugh. Forgot to say that there are also bloopers at the end.

Heck yeah, I count reading my kids' books toward my book goal!

The best character in the.series is "Crazy Dave" who talks like the Muppet Swedish Chef and invents wild, working gadgets.
