The recipes really are easy and quick to prepare, and there are a lot of them (over a hundred).
One of the most promising: Chocolate–Almond Butter Mousse made with avocados as a nondairy replacement.
The author provides the top 15 basic inflammatory foods – it’s very helpful.
The last chapter is the most useful, with basic recipes like pestos (Walnut Pesto with spinach and basil), Anti-Inflammatory Mayonnaise, vinaigrettes (Raspberry Vinaigrette, Lemon-Ginger Vinaigrette), and other dressings and sauces.
This book was received as a free copy from Callisto Publisher's Club. I loved the extremely easy recipes in this book. I especially liked how the book explained various inflammatory diseases and foods that could possibly help ease systems associated with these diseases. The recipes called for easy ingredients found in most homes and grocery stores. There is a menu for weekly listed along with the recipes. Very well done!
A beautiful, colorful cookbook and accessible to those who eat meat, vegetarian, and vegan. Therefore, I plan to substitute a few foods that meet the vegan diet and a few I'll try in the morning.
The recipes matter as well. Rating is subject to change due to trying a few. Now I tried 4 recipes: 1. Pear and Walnut Salad (it was okay, but if I do again, without the vinegar and see if I can still make it work). 4 stars out of 10. 2. Yogurt, Berry, and Walnut Parfait (can eat all these items on DetoxNow/Fibroids Elimination) 7 out of 10. 3, Ginger-Berry Smoothie. 1 out of 10. 4. Blueberry, Chocolate, and Turmeric Smoothie. 1 out of 10.
*I am trying to transition into eating electrifying foods that helps you heal, and these recipes were the closest to vegan lifestyle and specific foods recommended to eat. Not many recipes I could find to this specific diet, yet only first two willing to try again and tweak.
I plan to try a couple more recipes (unsure if substitutes will work): Coconut rice with blueberries (use quinoa black or wild rice black instead of organic brown rice) p 137 chocolate mousse (use other items than almond butter like coconut butter) p143 maple glazed pears p139 blueberry ambrosia (w/o apples) p 141
If I was not going vegan, I would try a number of recipes. If none of these other ones work for me, then I will pass this book I purchased recently to someone else I love or who is trying to eat better.
The writing and pictures would be a 4 out of 5. Recipes I have tried would be 2 out of 5 (few more to try). *Smoothie I have tried 1 out of 5. Would be about 3/4 stars.
I liked the format of the information. The recipes are very good. I have made several and will definitely continue to make them. They were easy and quick, with lots of flavor.

Chronic inflammation has been linked to just about every health concern out there, and research indicates that certain foods are the root cause. But with the plethora of information available on the Internet, it can be difficult to know exactly which foods an anti inflammatory diet consists of―and moreover, how to easily incorporate it into your daily life.
With Heart Disease and Inflammation from water retention, arthritis rampant is good to know there are ways to combat the problems besides medication. DO NOT STOP TAKING YOUR MEDICATIONS WITHOUT CONSULTING YOUR PHYSICIAN! You may though over time be able to reduce it. These recipes are simple with easy to procure ingredients. The biggest problem I had is many deal with Salmon and other seafood. If these are not on your no-no list then forge ahead. There is plenty of variety to the taste buds to keep you going for weeks without repeating. There also plenty of smoothies and vegetable dishes that have no animal protein. The Beef and Pepper Fajitas were my favorite. Tender and tasty. My family enjoyed the Cod with Ginger and Black Beans as well as the Curry over wild rice.
If you are looking to find new ways to eat healthy then try the "Easy Anti Inflammatory Diet"
My rating of "The Easy Anti Inflammatory Diet - Fast and Simple Recipes for the 15 Best Anti-Inflammatory Foods" is 5 out of 5 stars.
As I read cook books from cover to cover, I enjoyed reading this one. Frazier had a lot of good, sound information on the basics of inflammation, what it can do to our bodies and how to help reduce inflammation through foods to eat and to not eat. The information was easy to read and understand and the recipes were easy to follow with as little as four or five ingredients and prep time at 30 minutes or less. I took at least 10 of the recipes to add to my file box. Each recipe was clearly marked for anti-inflammatory diets as well as many that were gluten free. Frazier did admit that gluten was a trigger for inflammation for her so that was good for me to read as I am going that route.
The easy anti-inflammatory diet : fast and simple recipes for the 15 best anti-inflammatory foods. This book has bright color photographs throughout. This is not just a recipe book. There are medical facts in here as well as advice, pantry items, and shopping advice. The recipes look great! I will be able to fix these for the whole family.
Basic informations over all. I liked the ultimate food list, good for beginners, but other than that, I didn’t learn anything new. The recipes were not to my liking, and too bad she didn’t include pictures with every recipe. To sum it up, good for beginner.
This is a great cook book. I love how the author goes into detail about defining inflammation and what specific foods combat it. Can't wait to try the recipes.
I was disappointed. She recommended soy, which is GMO and very toxic. She also said it was ok to keep brown sugar and cornstarch in your pantry. Both corn, a grain, and sugar cause inflammation!!
This book lives up to its name: “The easy anti-inflammatory diet.” I am new to this diet, so I appreciate this book provides some details about what foods are great, which are okay, and which to minimize/avoid. The recipes are SUPER SIMPLE, which for a beginner is good. This will help me ease into a new diet without feeling overwhelmed. With just a few key ingredients, I’ll have what’s necessary to try many of these recipes and figure out what I like and what I don’t. Since the recipes are so simple, it won’t be a lot of ingredients or time lost if I don’t much care for it. And once I’ve got that all figured out, I’ll feel ready to move on to the hard anti-inflammatory diet. ;)
