Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

In DREAMING at SEASIDE...
Bella Abbascia has returned to Seaside Cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as she does every summer. Only this year, Bella has more on her mind than sunbathing and skinny-dipping with her girlfriends. She's quit her job, put her house on the market, and sworn off relationships while she builds a new life in her favorite place on earth. That is, until good-time Bella's prank takes a bad turn and a handsome police officer appears on the scene.

Single father and police officer Caden Grant left Boston with his fourteen-year-old son, Evan, after his partner was killed in the line of duty. He hopes to find a safer life in the small resort town of Wellfleet, and when he meets Bella during a night patrol shift, he realizes he's found the one thing he'd never allowed himself to hope for--or even realized he was missing.

After fourteen years of focusing solely on his son, Caden cannot resist the intense attraction he feels toward beautiful Bella, and Bella's powerless to fight the heat of their budding romance. But starting over proves more difficult than either of them imagined, and when Evan gets mixed up with the wrong kids, Caden's loyalty is put to the test. Will he give up everything to protect his son--even Bella?

Dreaming at Seaside by Addison Cole was such a good read.
The storyline was sweet and romantic, the characters were likable, very relatable and I was totally taken in with them.
I loved watching Bella's and Caden's relationship unfold. Neither was looking for love but when you meet that one special person who brings joy, comfort and love just by being with you how can you turn your back to it?

Dreaming at Seaside is a beautifully written, heartfelt read that touched my heart and I highly recommend it.

I'm loving the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series, the little teaser we got at the end of Dreaming at Seaside left me excited for Jenna's and Pete's story in Hearts at Seaside coming July 19th.

fantastic friends, family, romance, seaside

Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Performance 4 out of 5 stars
Story 4 out of 5 stars

Melissa Moran gives a performance that make the rich character that Addison Cole have created take on a new life. Melissa brings back the characters that I fell inlove with in the previous book. Her vocals add an element of familiarity with the characters we already met through her. The were no issues with the clarity, sound quality, no skipping, no echoing. You could make a connection and it carried all the way to the end of the read.

Here we find ourselves back at Seaside, this time with Bella and Caden. Of course, we have the others from the Seaside gang also. We get the sweet, innocent, less provocative, yet still fulfilled romance rich characters both supporting and primary, a set-story line, and the romance journey. This was a good clean read that can be read by beginning romance readers. Seeing Caden and Bella fall in love was pure clean fun. Add a teenager, girlfriends, and the community of Seaside to it all. You get a good afternoon read/listen. You get friends, family, and more.

Received in exchange for a honest review.

I liked this one more than read write love at Seaside. You do not need the first book to understand this one but the characters are all in that book as well.

Caden is a great guy. He is honest, loyal and a amazing dad. He puts his son above everything else even himself. So when he finds himself liking someone he is a little lost at first. His attraction is palpable for Bella. And hers is equally felt. But both are flustered by it.

Caden deals better with it than Bella. She is trying to stay on her forging a new path and being independent while not dating rule. So to get around this she calls there dates not-dates. She is afraid that by letting Caden in and letting him help her and be the kind caring guy he is she will lose herself. Caden doesn’t want that only for her to be herself and let both her girly side and independent side shine through.

What I love most about Bella is how she was with Evan. She included him and knew that he was a part of Caden’s life and accepted this. Not only that she wanted to know him and fell in love with him as well. It is Bella that Evan does go to when it mattered most.

Bella’s friends were just as fun loving and adorable as ever. their pranks, love and friendship was heartwarming. they were there for her and encouraged her when needed, supported her and comforted her as well.

Her and Caden’s relationship was easy going but intimate. He knew her better than anyone and listened. He wanted a commitment and worked hard on gaining her trust and to have her feel safe with him. He did little things to make her realize he was real and honest. His love for his son was what really had Bella trust him the most.

As Caden is dealing with his son and the move along with his feelings for Bella, Bella is trying to change her future. She is working on a career change and seeing what Caden does. that she doesn’t need someone in her life but wants and that they aren’t there to do things for her but be there for her and be her partner. when Evan gets in a quagmire Caden drops everything and is there. He shows what a standup guy and amazing father he is. But he does do something to jostle Bella. It takes both of them awhile to realize that they are not whole without each other and that if Caden isn’t happy it spills over and Evan feels it.

this is a heartwarming sweet story. There isn’t alot of drama just two people who fall in love trying to find their way. One finding the balance between parenthood and love and the other with who she is. The love and sense of family runs deep in the story as does friendship and loyalty. the romance is steamy at times but one that has the two main characters explore themselves and their feelings. they find peace and happiness with one another and a partnership where they respect and understand each other. All the characters are strong and sweet. The story one that has you smile and root for a HEA for Caden and Bella as they find their way to one another.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Seaside Dreams is a sweet and fun romance. Bella is the prankster of her group of friends and Caden is a police officer, they meet during a classic Bella moment and things just get more interesting as the couple get closer. Opposites really do attract..

One of my favorite things about listening to books rather than reading them is the fact that you get the true feelings behind the words. When reading it is left to the reader to interpret the meaning behind the words, there is nothing wrong with this there is just different ways to interpret. While listening to the book you can the tone, the context, and the voice of the character so I sometimes get a different perspective on the story and what the characters true feelings are. Melissa Moran is talented at being able to take Addison Cole’s written words and bring the characters to life. Her tone, her speed, and her changes in voices make the story so real that many times I get lost in the story and end up listening to more than I really had time for.

Have you ever read a book that is part of a series and wonder what will happen to the secondary characters? That is what happened when I read Read, Write, Love. I wanted to know if the rest of the Seaside Girls would find their happy endings just like Leanna did with Kurt. Dreaming at Seaside is Bella’s story. Well, Bella and Caden’s story.

Wild, crazy, trickster Bella is swearing off relationships until she gets her life in order. Then one night of being found outside by new local police officer Caden Grant brings sparks to her life. Even swearing off relationships cannot detour the feelings that are between her and Caden. My favorite part is how Caden is just accepted into the folds of the Seaside girls. Instantly Caden is included in their plans, welcome into their lives, and expected to put up with the shenanigans these ladies led by Bella pull.

I loved how with every thought Evan, Caden’s son, is included in Bella’s world. She includes him in their date times, their quiet times, and their fun times. Not every woman would be welcome to a teenage boy coming into her life and not only does she accept Evan but she loves him and wants him in her life.

Addison Cole has written a fun, sexy, sweet, and a tad of heat story that cannot be put down. I recommend picking up your own copy asap and reading this entire series.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Read, Write, Love at Seaside (Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers, #1)

This is Bella and Caden’s story. When an ex spews horrible things about Bella she decides she needs a change. She quits her job and moves to a place she usually only spends the summers. Caden and his son move to the small town after his partner is killed in the line of duty. He needs a quiet change of pace. When Caden catches Bella and her friends trying to play a prank nothing will ever be the same. The instant connection they feel is sweet. It draws them both and makes them want more of each other.

Melissa's stories are always wonderful and never disappoint. Her characters feel real. You will laugh and cry during her books but you will always get a great story that is heartwarming.
The story was full of sweet moments. I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Dreaming at Seaside is a story that makes me wish I lived in the Seaside community. Wellfleet and the Cape sound beautiful and peaceful to live in, minus the recent break-ins featured in this story.

Bella is a determined and fun-loving female. I really like that she's willing to take a big risk and change her life. I love the pranks she plays and wish there was more within the story. Her Seaside friends are the dream friend group any female may wish she has.

Caden is a protective and supportive man. He's done well to move on from a tragedy at work. Caden changed his live and his son Evan's live by moving to a new town. He does so well as a single father, although he does question his parenting when Evan gets into some trouble with some new friends.

The connection between all the characters in this story is what truly makes this story so good.

I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

This was a good read. Bella returns to Seaside for the summer. However, she is hoping to make it permanent. This summer she meets a cop named Caden. They are very attracted to each other but Caden is focused on raising his 15 year old son. Eventually he caved and they give it a go. They have some issues but in end they make it work.

This takes place during summer in Massachusetts. The romance is between a teacher and a police officer. There is a lot of time spent on the beach and water--fishing and surfing. There is also a bonfire on the beach. All of those things sound fun. The romance was quick, and there wasn't a lot of trouble for them. Their jobs were more problematic.

I read Addison’s first book and was looking forward to her next offering which is this book “Dreaming at Seaside.” It was just as entertaining as I had hoped it would be… the girls who live in the Seaside Cottages are a crazy, funny and loveable gang who keep us on our toes.

This book focuses on Bella Abbascia who has been coming to Wellfleet to spend the summer since she was a young girl. This year is a bit different for her… she comes nursing a broken heart and looking to make a change in her life. She has an opportunity to start a work-study program for teens and leave her teaching days behind. Bella is a bit of a rebel who loves to tease and to push the boundaries just a bit.

Police officer Caden Grant has moved to Wellfleet after the death of his partner. He is a single dad who wants to start over with his son Evan and sees this small resort town as just the right place to do that. He encounters Bella in a rather compromising position and is immediately attracted to her. But, his son is his whole life and he claims he is not looking for a relationship.

Since Bella has sworn off men and Caden is not looking for a relationship, they go out on what they call “not-a-date” dates. They begin to break down each other’s barriers and their relationship slowly begins to bloom. When Evan starts to push the limits with Caden, Bella offers advice and tries to help him deal with being a parent of a teenager. Things take a turn for the worse with Evan and this puts a strain on Bella and Caden’s relationship.

Can they weather the storm? Will Caden and Bella find what they want in each other? Is an HEA in their future?

This is a well written story and a fun summer read. I enjoyed my visit to Wellfleet and the Seaside Cottages and look forward to the next book.

Sweet with a little spice (not explicit) small resort town romance that is the perfect summer read!

Dreaming at Seaside is a sweet with just a little spice (but not explicit) small resort town romance between a woman who has given up on men when in walks the handsome new single dad cop in town. Dreaming at Seaside is well written with just enough twists and drama to keep things interesting with a sweet epilogue to tie all things up. Perfect for a relatively light-hearted summer read!

Told from dual perspective, neither mischievous Bella nor serious cop Caden are looking for romance as both have set out immediate futures as they both look to re-find themselves permanently in the idyllic resort town. However, the sizzling instant attraction between them can’t be ignored and soon find that themselves unable to resist each other. Caden is a strong minded and protective guy while Bella is a sassy and feisty woman determined to be independent, creating a hot chemistry when these two come together. Both characters were likeable and for fans who have read the previous book in the series it was great to catch up previous characters who added that nice edge in moving along the characters and plot.

However, while this is part of a series surrounding a group of friends, you do not need to read the previous book as each one is truly a standalone read.

Definitely recommend this book, especially if you like your contemporary romance on the cleaner side but without losing the passion and heat!

Dreaming of Seaside is the 2nd book by Addison Cole and one that I thoroughly enjoyed…. This book follows the story of Bella Abbascia who has returned to the Seaside Cottages for her regular summer visit where she meets up with her girl friends and has done since she was a child. Most summers are spent sun baking and chunky dunking with her friends but this year as different as Bella has quit her job, put her house on the market and sworn off men.
Caden Grant, who’s a single father of 14 year old son Evan, and police officer left Boston after his partner was killed in the line of Duty. Caden hopes that by coming to Wallfleet, a small seaside resort it will be safer for both him and Evan. He never expects to meet the women of his dreams. He’s put his life on hold since his girl friend left their young son with him at 20 years of age. Caden has sent the next 14 years working and looking after his son, he’s had no social life of his own.
Life gets interesting for Bella and Caden when they meet and throw Evan into the mix and it makes for an interesting storyline. Evan get’s mixed up with the wrong type of kids and this really tests Caden. Will he let this mess up his relationship with Bella???? Or will love conquer all????? This series is a great read, Addison Cole is the alter ego of best selling Author Melissa Foster and this series is the same great storylines as you’ll get with Melissa’s books minus the hot steamy sex scenes. If you love a great story with out the hot steamy scenes then you’ll love this series.

Caden is a cop and single dad. He moved to Wellfleet after his partner was shot in the line of duty. He doesn't want to leave his son fatherless. For the last 14 years work and his son have been his life. Bella spent her summers in Wellfleet and is best friends with all of the girls she spent those summers with. Every summer they take the summer off and get together at Seaside where they all own cabins. Bella's friend Leanna has just made the permanent, year round move to Wellfleet and Bella has decided to take the leap of faith and do the same. She has a plan for a teaching job, but doesn't know if the community will back her plan for the school board to hire her year round. She has sworn off men while in the midst of this life change.

Caden and Bella's first encounter has Caden catching Bella with her bum in the air for everyone to see her panties....it's the start of their non-dating.
Will Bella be able to go with the flow and see how their relationship progresses? Will Caden be able to juggle being a father of teenager and having a relationship? How does Caden's son Evan influence their relationship? Great summer reading!!

Sweet, entertaining and fascinating love story.

Dreaming at Seaside is a well-written book that will having keep you entertained from beginning to end. I found myself laughing many times throughout this book. This story is full of romance, passion and humor. All of the characters are easy to like and easy to feel a connection with. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters in the book. They will having you feeling that they are your neighbor and friends at your home away from home.

The antics the girls come up with along with the different scrapes that they get themselves into had me giggling from the very beginning. What the property manager for the community did during the toilet scene cracked me up. That was something I could see my oldest son pulling with a straight face. A definite must read just to see the shenanigans the girls kept pulling.

This was the second book from Addison Cole that I had the pleasure to read. It was hard to put the book down as it kept me entertained. Addison Cole is a very talented author that tells remarkable stories that captivate you and will have you not wanting to put the book down. Definitely an author that you will want to keep on your go-to list. If you enjoy reading sweet romance with a touch of humor, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book. A truly captivating and amusing read.

Bella isn't looking for love, and neither is Caden, but are they destined to find it anyway? Of course! Bella, a teacher that is ready for a change, and Caden, a cop who has already made a big change in his life, meet unexpectedly, and can't turn away from the instant connection that they feel.

Bella is a teacher, a Seaside resident during school breaks and the summer, has decided to make a change and leave her job to pursue something she is passionate about.

Caden, a cop who lost his partner at a previous post in Boston, has moved to the area to escape the risks of being a police officer in the city. He has his son's best interests at heart.

Bella and Caden want each other. Can they work through the obstacles standing in there way?

I loved reading their story and could not put it down! I was emotionally wrapped up in this book from the beginning! I also love another dose of the Seaside girls!

Bella is the prankster of the Seaside girls. When a prank has the police showing up, she meets Officer Caden Grant. Caden moved his teenaged son, Evan, to Wellfleet after his partner is killed in the line of duty.

Sparks fly the instant Bella and Caden meet. Caden appreciates not only Bella's prankster persona, but the other aspects of her personality as well.

I loved how Bella and Evan clicked and how quickly she came to care about him, too. Evan was really accepting of Bella and Caden's relationship.

Readers get to see the other Seaside group again. As always, it's great to see how close and supportive they are of one another, and how they were willing to accept Caden into their tight-knit group.

This was a great addition to the Sweet with Heat series and I'm looking forward to reading more.

Dreaming at Seaside is book 2 in the Sweet with Heat series by Addison Cole and this story is all about Bella Abbascia and hunky Cop Caden Grant

Bella is the feisty joker out of the Seaside Girls and we met her in Read, Love Write at Seaside along with Leanna, Amy and Jenna. The girls have grown up with each other spending the summer at their seaside cottages and they are all really close, now the Bells’s life is taking a different turn and she has quit her school teaching job and looking to move to the cape full time, if Leanna can do it so can she right?
The girls are shocked that she quit her job but supportive and they will do anything to help each other out. Bella has also sworn off men, that is until one night whilst out doing a prank on the community manager Theresa, she gets caught in Leanna's bedroom window when new cop in town Caden catches her and the girls, whilst patrolling the area.

The instant sparks were there for both of them without a doubt!

Caden has moved to Wellfleet with his teenage son Evan from Boston where he was cop, but after losing his best friend in the line of duty he realised how dangerous his job in the big city really was so moved to the quiet town of Wellfleet.

Soon Caden and Evan have been welcomed into the Seaside group and the sparks and heat between him and Bella just sizzle. And Bella who has sworn off men is more than willing to have a relationship with Caden and what I loved most about her was how much she went out of her way to include Evan in their date plans. That says a lot her a person, and it just shows to Caden how wonderful of a person she really is.

Dreaming at Seaside is definitely Sweet with just enough heat that will leave you wanting wanting more, it is a great clean read and you will not be disappointed,

Dreaming of Seaside is Book 2 of the Sweet with Heat series. Each book can be read as a standalone but by reading each one, you gain a better understanding of the relationships & interactions of the characters.

Bella has been coming to Seaside for years. Every summer, Bella, Leanna, Jenna & Amy get reacquainted & set off on their summer adventures. Since Leanna has found her way with Kurt & her jam making career, Bella has been dissatisfied with her life. She's quit her job as a school teacher & set up a probationary program for the summer. She's not going to let a man derail her plans. No relationship & no man until things are on track. Until he pulls in - hot, sexy policeman Caden. How is she supposed to fight that chemistry?

After his partner was killed, Caden decided he needed to move to a quiet town & a smaller force. He was a single father raising his son, Evan & didn't want to leave him without a parent. Caden is happy & content & prepared to enjoy the next couple of years before Evan heads to college. Then he catches a sexy fiery blonde in her brief pj's & with her hair caught in a window. Can this attraction be real?

Addison Cole sets a story of friendship & love in a small town. The scene is set perfectly. The friendships are realistic & relatable. I really loved the interactions between Bella & Evan. It takes a special person to accept a teenager into a relationship along with their attitude. I really enjoyed this story & you will too!

In Dreaming at Seaside, you are hearing the romantic story of the wild and carefree Bella (One of 4 Best Girlfriends - The Seaside Girls, who summers at The Cape. She is a High School Teacher for the rest of the year, but is thinking of a career change and moving to The Cape area year-round.)
Come read about a maybe-romance between Bella and a new to the area Police Officer Caden, when she is literally caught with her pants down (Or OFF!)
Caden moved to The Cape area with his 15 year old son Evan. He left Boston after he lost his Best Friend and Partner George when he was shot and killed in the line of duty. His 1st case is to solve the cottage and vehicle break-ins that have just started happening around there.
Can they make it work? Can they help Evan find the right kind of friends in this new place? Will Bella go back to teaching or will her new career idea work out? Come Seaside and See.

This is a mostly clean but suggestive romance. The sex pretty much ends as the door closes, besides a few mild foreplay sessions. I'd say in my opinion, it is a 1.5 - 2 on a heat scale of 5.

I was given an ARC copy from Beck Valley Book Tours to voluntarily Read & Review, If I chose to do so. I was not compensated for this review, nor was I required to write a positive review. These are my thoughts and opinions on this book.

Bella has quit her teaching job and is planning on taking her normal summer at the Cape to use her creativity and start a new work program with the local high school. The one thing she definitely did NOT want was a man. When Bella is playing a trick on the community property manager she ends up getting caught by not only the police but caught by the love bug by the local officer that finds her.

Caden has moved to the Cape to stay safe for his teenage son and his safe life in the Cape gets up-ended by the sweet Bella.

Caden and Bella bring out the best in each other and you will have plenty of moments in which you will love the devotion Caden and Bella quickly learn to have with each other. Also, learn as Bella learns to navigate dating a single father and her new job opportunity.

I want to be a member of the Seaside Gang!

If you read the first of Addison Cole's Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers books, you have already met Leanna, Jenna, Amy, and Bella. In Dreaming at Seaside, you are quickly introduced to the jokester of the group--Bella--as she pulls Bella and Amy into one of the jokes she is known for pulling on the property manager, Theresa . . . and after some hilarious twists, Bella comes face to cheeks with Caden . . . the new Wellfleet cop who is policing the area. Talk about instant attraction . . . well, you'll see. And Caden comes with a teenage son, Evan, who is struggling with developing new friendships in a new place at the height of the summer after a move from Boston.

Caden and Evan are quickly brought into the fold of the Seaside girls and others who live in the cottages. Bella, of course, is on a great summer hiatus from her teaching job and is determined to move from her teaching position in Connecticut to the Cape by developing a new work/study program for the local school system. As a high school teacher, she definitely can provide insights into helping with teenagers and quickly recognizes the fantastic job Caden has done raising Evan. However, she also sees some of the struggles that they are having with their relocation.

How will these struggles influence what might be a meaningful relationship? How would entering into a relationship affect Bella's decision to move forward with her professional plans without outside "interference?" Will Evan fall into friendships with the right crowd? This is a delightfully fun read with a bunch of fun characters whose tangles are like those of everyday people everywhere. You will enjoy this read!

What a sweet and sexy book by Addison Cole!

Bella and Caen made such a sweet couple. Bella, quite her job and decided to get her life in order to start a business on Cape Cod. Caden, a police officer who left Boston after his partner was killed, wanted to work in a small town. He settled down in Wellfleet with his son Evan. You could see the sparks fly with Bella and Caden right from the start. Caden and Even were welcomed into the Seaside group immediately.

I loved how Bella always included Evan into all her events with Caden. Not always easy for a "stranger" to be accepted into the heart of a teenage child. I love how Caden makes Evan his priority. It is not always easy to be a single parent to a teenager. Caden holds Evan responsible for the choices he makes and to make retributions for his mistakes.

The book was sexy but not HOT sexy. You are left with a lot of things to your imagination, which is a good thing :) Can't wait for the third book in this series

Dreaming at Seaside, this book follows Bella and Caden, a police officer who has recently moved to the Cape with his teenaged son, Evan. Caden is looking for a safer life after his partner was killed in the line of duty in Boston. Bella, is re-evaluating her life, taking a break from her teaching job in Connecticut and trying to find permanent work in the Cape, without a man to be reliant on. That is until she meets Caden. There are trials and tribulations along the way, Evan falls in with the wrong crowd, Caden blames himself and doubts whether he has the capacity to split his time properly between Bella and Evan and does the one thing he promised he wouldn't do with Bella and hurts her. Really enjoyed following the lives of the girls at the Cape and you get to know all of them better in this book.

Dreaming at Seaside, this book follows Bella and Caden, a police officer who has recently moved to the Cape with his teenaged son, Evan. Caden is looking for a safer life after his partner was killed in the line of duty in Boston. Have you ever read a book that is part of a series and wonder what will happen to the secondary characters? That is what happen when I read Read, Write, Love.

I loved how with every thought Evan, Caden’s son, is included into Bella’s world.

Bella Abbascia is a strong fiercely independent woman who has decided to take this summer and make some big life changes. New job, move to Seaside permanently and all with NO relationships. She wants to be sure she is making her choices with a clear and unaffected head and not her heart. Well…about that. In saunters Caden Grant the new local police officer.
From the first time Caden saw Bella quite literally hanging by her hair outside a friend’s bedroom window in the middle of the night he knew that she was the woman for him. That fast. Caden is a man who has prided himself on being the best father possible for his now teenage son and understands what it is to commit.
So now we have two people who both feel the instant attraction & almost instant love but one of them is fighting it. Will the struggles of the summer bring them together or will they send Bella back to Connecticut?

Dreaming at Seaside, the second in this series, was just as fabulous as Read, Write, Love at Seaside! This time the story focuses on the wild, outspoken Bella and a new police officer in town named Caden. Bella has decided to quit her teaching job in Connecticut and move to the Cape full time, hopefully heading up a new work study project with the local high school. Caden and his 15-year-old son Evan have just moved to the cape from Boston as Caden tries to recover from the death of his partner. Bella has sworn off relationships but can't deny the attraction to Caden - but Caden doesn't want a one night stand, he wants a relationship.

Bella and Caden's story was wonderful, as was the chemistry between them. The writing was fantastic and this novel is an absolute page-turner from beginning to end. I love that the Sweet with heat series brings passion and chemistry into the stories without going overboard on the sexy scenes and language, just proving that leaving some things up to the imagination does not take away from the power of the story! I am officially hooked on this series and cannot wait to read book 3!

Dreaming at Seaside is the second book of the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series. We get to spend time with all of the Seaside girls from the previous book, but the focus is mainly on Bella Abbascia. She's the gang's prankster and probably the most outspoken. She came to Seaside with the plan to sell her house in Connecticut and start fresh on the Cape, after a bad breakup.
The new cop in town, Caden Grant, finds the girls outside, pulling yet another prank on Teresa. Sparks fly and Caden wants nothing more than seeing the gorgeous blond again. Bella tries to resist and follow her new rule of no men, but he pulls all the stops to win her over.
Caden has a teenage son, Evan, who is struggling with their move from Boston and the process of making new friends will cause waves for the trio.
Another great summer read, with lots of sun, laughter and love floating around!

I feel like I'm right there with these characters. Actually they feel like real people and real friends I would have. That is such a great thing when an author can make you feel like you are living the story and not just reading it and that's what this author does. I found myself laughing and crying while reading this book.
Bella and Caden have such a natural connection and ease with each other. He may be a hot cop, but his looks aren't what made me add him to my list of book boyfriends. His unconditional love and devotion to Evan is what has Caden Grant my BBF list.
Evan is such a great kid and with having teenagers myself his teenage angst was very relatable.
This Seaside group of friends is what we all hope to have if we don't already. I can't say enough about this book. I really enjoyed and related to everything.
