I'm Camille, a Moon Witch married to three gorgeous husbands, and I'm about to ascend to the throne of Dusk & Twilight. But the path to the throne lies through a labyrinth of dangers, which I must face alone...

Before I can fulfill my destiny to become the Queen of Dusk & Twilight, I must seek out the Keraastar Diamond. But to find the magical gem and take control over the Keraastar Knights, I must venture back to Otherworld, deep into the treacherous Tygerian Mountains. Once there, I face a magical trial by fire. Moon Shimmers is Camille’s final full length book in the series (there is also a follow on novella which I have not yet read) and there is definitely a sense of things ending for the sisters and their family. Camille and Menolly are both preparing to move out of the home they have lived in throughout the series as their lives change and move in different directions. Delilah will be the only sister left in the house, which she will share with her fiancé and other friends and family.

The overarching plot with Shadow Wing is also finally coming towards a conclusion; at the opening of the book the sisters have all but one of the spirit seals and know that they need to find the final spirit seal and travel to Otherworld to gain the power to find the Keraastar Knights, who will wear the spirit seals to defeat Shadow Wing once and for all.

While this plot drives the action of the story, the emotional side of the story was stronger for me. You can sense Camille’s sadness and regret at leaving her old life behind, and how much it meant to her. She has a lot to look forward to and stands to gain a lot of power in the future, but it is clear that her time with her sisters and on the hunt for the spirit seals is going to always be some of her best and strongest memories.

I like the way the story ended and I look forward to reading Delilah and Menolly’s final stories as well.

I am also really happy that Galenorn chose to continue this series as an indie author after the publisher ended the contract. I have read on her blog that it was important for her to finish the story for the fans that had stayed with her throughout the entire series and I am glad she made that decision. It is an emotional, as well as a financial investment, to buy and read eighteen books in one series for over a decade and to never know the end of the series would have been awful.

I'm glad that this series is winding down, it time for it, the sisters have saved the world enough, time for their HEA's. I think what I liked most about this one was that finally during a quest things went pretty easy for those on it. They weren't in peril overly much, the group managed to figure out what they needed to pretty easy too. Most of the conflict more came from Camille realizing that her life is changing, changing for the better. What is causing these bittersweet feelings is that she knows her closeness with her sisters will change as all three of them start their new paths, they will no longer be living together. What surprised me was the change that Chase went through, but when you think about it, it makes sense that his life will change big time too.

Nineteenth in the Otherworld / Sisters of the Moon paranormal fantasy series set in Seattle and revolving around three half-human, half-fae sisters fighting a supernatural war. It’s June and the focus is on Camille seeking the Kerastaar Diamond.

My Take
I can’t believe it’s taken nineteen stories before Camille gives up fighting in her stilettos. I gotta confess I’ve always been impressed that she could walk in them, let alone fight in them.

There have been plenty of character arcs for the core characters as they pursue the series arc of finding the spirit seals and conquering Shadow Wing. Yeah, yeah, those stilettos do define Camille.

It’s all told from Camille’s perspective in first person protagonist point-of-view, showing us the emotional turmoil she experiences in the life path she’s following. How she resolves her concerns and the encounters she has with other characters.

There’s plenty of drama what with hunting down and recovering the last spirit seal, negotiating with the reluctant dragons, keeping Seattle safe from rampaging Fae, the truth of the Great Divide and what reversing it could mean for Earthside, and more.

Ooh, I like this:
”Learning is good, but what you do with it is even more important.”
It’s so cute how Delilah gets caught up in catnip.
Hmm, something to think about:
”. . . constraints provide only limitations. Expand the definition, and you expand the potential.”
Most of the story recaps what’s been going on along with Camille’s worries.

The Story
To be crowned, Camille must venture back to Otherworld and confront the Guardian who is guarded by the deadly Tygerian monks in order to retrieve the Kerastaar Diamond and take control of the Kerastaar Knights.

If she fails, the chance to stop Shadow Wing will fade with her. If she succeeds, her life will forever change.

The Characters
The D'Artigo sisters are half-human, half-Fae operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency (OIA). Camille Sepharial, a Moon Witch and High Priestess of the Dark Moon married to three gorgeous husbands — Smokey, a.k.a. Iampaatar, a dragon shifter, Morio, a youkai kitsune and Camille’s Priest-Consort, and Trillian, a Svartan —, is about to ascend to the throne of Dusk and Twilight. Delilah, a two-faced werecat and a Death Maiden who serves the Autumn Lord, is engaged to Shade, a half-shadow dragon / half-Stradolan who lost these powers and an avatar of the Autumn Lord. Menolly, a jian-tu (an elite athlete), is a vampire married to Nerissa, a werepuma, and Roman, the vampire prince of the Vampire Nation. So far, the sisters and their friends have lived together in an old three-story Victorian on almost ten acres of land. Lysanthra is Delilah’s blade.

Other friends who live there include Vanzir, a dream-chaser demon, who can drain energy; he’s also the father of Aeval’s child. Rozurial “Roz” is an incubus and a walking armory. Maggie is the baby calico woodland gargoyle they rescued in Witchling , 1. Iris, a talon-haltija (a Finnish house sprite), and Bruce, a.k.a. Lord Bruce Golden Eagle O’Shea, a leprechaun, have eight-month old twins ( Shaded Vision , 11, and Priestess Dreaming , 16). The Duchess is Bruce’s mother. Hanna is the D’Artigo housekeeper (Hexed: "Ice Shards", 9.5). The Wayfarer is the fae pub the sisters own and Mennolly manages. Digger and Derrick, a werebadger, are employees. The Indigo Crescent is the bookstore managed by Camille. Four kittens will join the household. Misty is Camille’s gray cat spirit ( Priestess Dreaming ).

Vishana is Smoky’s mother. Maria D'Artigo, a human and their mother who had died in a fall, had married Sephreh ob Tanu, a soldier Fae ( Autumn Whispers , 14).

FH-CSI, a.k.a. the Faerie-Human Crime Scene Investigation, is . . .
. . . a city organization that handles supernatural issues. Detective Chase Johnson is in charge. He’d always thought he was human. He’s paired up with Sharah. Yugi, a Swedish empath, is Chase’s second-in-command. Marquette is an elf. Fry and Brooks are humans. Mallen is the head of the medic unit.

Talamh Lonrach Oll is . . .
. . . the Fae reservation outside Seattle where Titania, the Queen of Light and Morning, and the pregnant Aeval, the Queen of Shadow and Night rule. Where Camille will be crowned the Queen of Dusk and Twilight over the Sovereign Fae Nation. The former queen had been Morgaine. Bran, Raven Mother’s son, is their general. The Barrows are three “palaces”, one for each queen. Myrddin is the Merlin and High Priest of the Moon Mother ( Priestess Dreaming ).

The All Worlds Church organized the All Worlds United in Peace organization to counter the hate groups and includes churches, temples, mosques, pro-environment, and pro-unification groups. Neely is part of this group. Carter is a helpful half-demon and half-Titan (through his father Hyperion) researcher. Fresia is a Water Witch and a priestess of the goddess Yemaya. She runs Marsh Briar Fortunes, a magic shop. Erin is Menolly’s vampire child. Tanne Baum is a spell-singing Fae friend from the Hunter’s Glen Clan of demon hunters ( Priestess Dreaming ). Shimmer is a blue water dragon shifter employed by Alex, a vampire who owns the Fly by Night Investigation Agency.

Brandon Rigal is a big-shot lawyer who defends hate groups like Freedom’s Angels and Guardian Watchdogs. Brotherhood of the Earth-Born is another hate group. Steven Trentallon is a star reporter for the Seattle Tattler .

The Fae world is . . .
. . . Otherworld, properly known as Y’Eírialiastar. Ivana Krask, a.k.a. the Maiden of Karask, is an Elder Fae who feeds off the energies of ghosts. More Elder Fae are Yannie Fin Diver ( Courting Darkness , 10), Jenny Greenteeth, the Black Annis, and Bog-Mother. Grandmother Coyote is one of the Hags of Fate, the female equivalent of the Harvestmen, who have more power than the gods. Pentangle is the Mother of Magic, a Hag of Fate. The Raven Mother is an Elemental Lady, a trickster at odds with the Moon Mother. Thistlewyd Deep, darker than even Darkynwyrd, belongs to her. Annabelle is the name Camille gives to her Nebulveori mountain horse. The Black Unicorn, a.k.a. the Black Beast of the Dahns Unicorns ( Dragon Wytch , 4) had been Bran’s father and the Raven Mother’s consort. Eriskel is a jindasel, an avatar of the unicorn horn. Mistletoe is a pixie attendant to Feddrah-Dahns, the Prince of the Dahnsburg Unicorns. Iyonah is a sorceress, who supposedly came from Kyradream. Glydyn is the city of the Goldunsun Fae.

Derisa is the High Priestess of the Full Moon of the Moon Mother in Otherworld. Lyrical is an angry elder of the Coterie of the Moon Mother. Trytian and his father are daemons battling Shadow Wing and allies with the D’Artigos.

Elqaneve is . . .
. . . a city in the Elfin lands of Otherworld. The Whispering Mirror is a communications device between Earthside and Elqaneve and primarily used by Trenyth, an advisor to the Elfin throne. Sharah is the Elfin Queen who succeeded Asteria. Eight-month old Astrid is her and Chase’s daughter. I think the Y’Elestrial Intelligence Agency is part of or is OIA.

The Dragon Reaches is . . .
. . . obviously, the land of dragons ruled by the Council of Elders. Hyto had been Smoky’s evil father ( Courting Darkness ).

Shadow Wing the Unraveller is . . .
. . . a demon lord and leader of the Sub-Realms who wants to take over Earthside. Telazhar had been a necromancer training demons for Shadow Wing. Yerghan the Blade is a leader of soldiers and a villain used to threaten children.

Chimaras is the Lord of the Sun and enemy to the Moon Mother. Other powerful beings include the Lord of the Depths, a merman; the Lord of the Winds; the Lady of the Land, a dryad; and, the Mistress of Flames. There are also the goddesses Lady Undutar and Lady Bast. Beira is the Mistress of Winter and mother of the Bean Nighe. Yvaar is an ancient and powerful wyrm ( Priestess Dreaming ).

The Spirit Seal was . . .
. . . created during the Great Divide when ancient Fae Lords separated Otherworld, Earthside, and the Subterranean Realms into three parallel worlds. The intention was to keep the worlds from recombining, although portals did form. The seal was then broken into nine pieces and each piece was given to a guardian, one of whom is K’thbar the Unyielding, a Primordial Fae. The Maharata-Vashi and the Maharata-Verdi are scrolls intended as a backup plan.

The Keraastar Knights are the guardians of the portals, fated to battle Shadow Wing. They include Venus the Moon Child of the Rainier Puma Pride, a shaman; Luke; and, Luke's sister, Amber. Tam Lin and Benjamin, Kerastaar Knights, had died because of the spirit seals.

The Keraastar Diamond is guarded by the deadly Tygerian monks for whom Keth is the Speaker. The Order of the Crystal Dagger is a secret society. The Akashic Library is full of scrolls where Sesarati is the Keeper of Lore and a Hag of Fate.

It’s interesting that so many stories make reference to the Fremont Troll — it’s big enough to hold an actual Volkswagen in its hand! — and it was created by the Jersey Devils. Dredge is the evil vampire who tortured, then turned Menolly ( Darkling , 3). A vroll is a vapor troll, a type of wight. Bad *** Luke had been a lesser demon ( Witchling , 1). The Nectar of Life can expand a half-fae’s life to almost that of a full-blood Fae. I think Litha is a holiday. Shamas had been a D’Artigo cousin ( Priestess Dreaming ). Lethesanar had been a hated Fae queen. Tanaquar had been her sister. The Ionyc Sea, an alternate plane that allows Smoky and Shade to move instantly from one place to another, is composed of currents of energy that separate the Ionyc Lands, which are a mix of the etheric, astral, and spiritual realms.

The Cover and Title
The cover is purples and black with a blue-purple sky and a towering spire on the left. Crisscrossing pink lines trail to surround Camille’s face on the left. A wide deep gray border is at top and bottom. At the top is the author’s name in white with an info blurb (in white) between first and last names. At the bottom, at Camille’s shoulder, is the title in a deep turquoise with the series info between the words. Below this is a testimonial in the same turquoise with the publisher’s logo in white to the left.

I can only guess at the title being inclusive about Shimmer’s help with the Moon Mother’s priestess’ quest in Moon Shimmers.

This story would’ve been more suited for a novella. There wasn’t very much conflict and what little was encountered was easily resolved. It wasn’t a quest it was a camping trip. No one was ever in any real danger and Camille was never at risk of not obtaining her crown. Even fears of what the future holds were easily assuaged. At the least we should’ve seen one good panic attack.

I also don’t get why Camille had to constantly bring up not wanting kids. We got it already. But did she forget way back when she hooked up with Smokey he said she would have his child using some kind of magic. And isn’t the population of Morio’s race extremely small. So wouldn’t it be kind of mean to have a dragon baby but not a Kitsune baby? Wasn’t Morio’s mother concerned about that? She’s got 3 husbands, a full staff of subjects, and eons of life ahead of her. I’m not saying she should become a brood mare, but one or two kids being born to a Queen over the course of a millennia or two doesn’t sound crazy to me.

Moon Shimmers is book 19 of the Otherworld series and Camille's last book of the series. Life got in the way for me to finish this book within days like I used to, but I loved Moon Shimmers and I savored every page up until the end. I remember starting the series with Witchling, when I was first introduced to Yasmine Galenorn as an author and found her work to be amazing. It's a bit sad for me to go back and re-read the series and think of Witchling, how Camille was first introduced to me and seeing how much she has grown through the series. We grow so attached to our favorite characters and series, the Otherworld series means a lot to me as I love each character, they remind me of how different and refreshing my old sisters and I are in a way.

Moon Shimmers was an outstanding addition to the series and I'm so pleased with learning Camille's new role as Queen of Dusk & Twlight. Her future with the Keraastar Knights will not be an easy one, as they still have Shadow Wing to defeat. The book starts off with the sisters fighting with a creature at a local wedding, hoping to defeat the creature before it makes a mess of the wedding and upsets the intimidating guests. We are taken on a journey to find the Keraastar Diamond so that Camille may take control over the Keraastar Knights in the upcoming battle with Shadow Wing. There are many twists and pleasant, not so pleasant turns in the journey to find it. There are many surprises as we lead up to Camille taking her crown, I was surprised, happy, and a bit sad. Some of her closest friends will be forever changed.

We all knew the sisters would grow into their perspective roles, learning what life had in store for them from the Hags of Fate, but it's sad in a way. Though she'll be close to her sisters, she's still far away. Yes, her husbands get to move out with her, but we see the sisters move away, into their roles. I'm so happy for Camille's story and the ending. Like most readers, I didn't want her story to end. I wish we could go onto book 50 and 60, but I understand Ms. Galenorn's decisions and her new way of indie work. I respect her as an author and as a person. It was in her best interest to continue to work on her indie work and give us great stories without giving up herself. I look forward to Menolly and Delilah's last books, though I fear I better place stock in tissues because I believe there are many many tears to come.

Review first published on My Blog.

Otherworld book 19 told by Camille. Times they are changing. The summer solstice is almost upon them and that is when Camille will be leaving the home she has shared with her sisters since they came Earthside to become the Faerie Queen of Dusk and Twilight but before she can do that, she must find the Keraastar Diamond and fulfill her destiny to take control of the Keraastar Knights who will guard the Seals. However, the Diamond is well hidden and guarded in Otherworld so she will need her friends and loved ones to help her on this great task. Having them with her means more than ever this time as she struggles internally against her fate knowing that she will do it but dreading the massive changes about to take place.

So there are only two more books left in the series at this point according to the author and it's easy to see that things are on the fast track to wrapping up now. Whereas earlier books would spend the entire book on one minor plot point that sometimes didn't even really figure much into the larger story arc, this one had several wrapping up in the space of less than 400 pages. It was super fast paced although compared to earlier battles and adventures, these almost seemed over too quickly and super easy for the characters to get through which doesn't make a lot of sense if we are seeing end-game coming. I like the fast pace and I love the world building but it just seemed at odds with previous books and so stuck out to me. I'm thankful that the world of self-publishing is allowing Ms. Galenorn to complete the series since the publisher decided not to. It would have been a horrendous shame not to see this massive undertaking through to the end. I'm now saddened that I have to wait another year for the next installment since she has a few other series she is kicking off right now but oh well, I guess I'll just have to check out all those series. :)

****I Received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review.**** This is the first in the last set of books in the series. I must admit, it was sooo bittersweet and final as I closed the last page of my electronic copy. Camille has always been my favorite and not just because she's a witch. It is because she reminds me of myself back in my 20's and moving on to now in my late 30's. We met this wonderful woman who was so sure of her duty, her family, but yet so vulnerable and unsure of her place in her mother's world. Her magic was never really reliable, she had a hell of a lot of insecurities and she would never show it either. Untouched and Untamed and wild with passion when it came to her lovers. In the series, we saw how her life turned upside down and caught in a war for which none of the sisters wanted a part of.

All the other stories where simply preparations, for this last book. Camille is about to ascend the throne of the Court of Dusk and Twilight. She has grown in her magic, finding that she too had a place in the world. Her magic was never meant to be with the full moon, but the dark moon side of the Goddess. And this last book shows just what she will be capable of in the future. Her task takes her back to Otherworld in a fight for the Kerrastar Diamond. But not before she finds the last of the 9 pieces. Trouble is, would you put the worlds back together? Or fight to keep them apart?

There are a few hidden gems in this book that really did surprise the hell out of me. Some surprises, I wasn't fond of either like the character. But duty calls!! Now that Camille has taken her pre-destined role as Queen and High Priestess of Earthside fae for the Moon Mother, the battle with Shadow Wing is set in place. Breathe my peeps, we still have two books left...and then we can all commence with the tears.

I've adored Yasmine's Otherworld books for years and this is the last Camille book, number 19 in the series. Ironically I was a little sad to read this book, because I don't really want this awesome series to end, but Yasmine did not disappoint.

The Otherworld series tells the tale of three sisters, half human and half Fae. Camille is Moon Witch slated to become a Fae Queen, Delilah is a were-cat/panther who is a Death Maiden and Menolly is a vampire who is married to a were-puma and a vampire prince. Early in the series, the sisters are sent Earthside (Seattle, WA) and find themselves in a battle to save the world from dark forces such as Shadow Wing. Along the way, they are joined by an awesome cast of characters that become more family than allies.

This book is about the journey Camille must take to embrace her role as a Fae Queen and prepare for the final battle with Shadow Wing. If you love to read about magical fairy tales, this story will enchant you. Yasmine has an amazing way of weaving you in and out of her fantasy world. Without giving much away, this book will take you on an epic journey where Camille must past through dangerous territory in Otherworld (think Fae universe) to obtain a mystical item that will help her not only prepare for her final role, but for the final battle.

The beauty of this story, especially if you read the series from the beginning, is the ability to see how much all three sisters have grown up and how well they are now embracing change.

It truly has been a fun journey to discover Camille's last chapter and I look forward to reading Delilah and Menolly's final book.

I can't believe that this series is supposed to end in 2 books, there is still so much unfinished?
What I liked about this book it that the main plot finally makes progress. I'm really grateful that the series comes to an end soon, it's time.

Sadly, the major themes of this book were already revealed in the last Menolly book. And besides that, not too much happened. Camille is supposed to become the Queen of Dusk and Twilight. For that, she has to collect the last spirit seal and find the Keraastar Diamond.

Most of this felt like Camille's last book. Most of the plot is simply about their little adventure / peregrination in Otherworld. Sure it had interesting aspects, but there was nothing that surprised me, nothing unexpected. To me, it seemed not dangerous enough, too easy. Which maybe made the pacing feel a lot slower than it actually was.

There were two major things that bothered me:
One - The many, many, many repetitions of Camille's feelings. Yes, we know she is afraid of moving out and being apart from her sisters, afraid of all this responsibility and if she will do well. She worries and she's scared. Okay. I get that. But please, don't write about this 7 times or more if there's nothing she can change about that.
Two - Instead of showing, Galenorn tells us what is happening. Maybe I wasn't paying too much attention to the other books because other things annoyed me more, but there is a lot of talking about things and explaining and not really.... well, doing. Which makes it kind of boring.

Again, not much is happening in this book. In fact, you can summarize it in less than 5 sentences. For a 19th book in a series, that is close to the finale, that's sad. There is so much left that's suppose to happen and I wonder WHEN.

As a long time reader of the Otherword Series, it's with a bitter sweetness that I write this review. Moon Shimmers brings readers to the final arc of this amazingly magical series. Destiny, fate and everything Camille, her sisters, family and friends have been fighting for is now on the table.

Moon Shimmers is an emotional, fast paced journey of mental and spiritual growth for Camille. Grab a glass of wine and a box of tissues, I know I needed both. Lol. Camille has been one of my favorite characters throughout the Otherworld series, continuously growing, stepping up to her duty and putting aside her fear for the greater good. Of all of Camille’s books this one was the most emotional for me. Boy, we have seen this woman go through a lot. Life is changing, Camille struggles through the fear then faces it with her head held high. Wonky magic and all. Camille’s direct chapters of this tale have end on the best of notes.

Ms. Galenorn is a master at her craft. Otherworld is world building at its best. Moon Shimmers is amazing and so very Camille. Emotional, dangerous and adventurous. I was laughing out loud then pages later shedding tears for my favorite characters. Moon Shimmers will keep reader flying through the pages, begins to tie up loose ends and possibly even starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

A note to readers: this is the 19th book of the series. Normally I would not even suggest to pick up reading a series this late. Especially with there only being two books left. However I must give props to Ms. Galenorn. She supplies a new reader with enough information that they can enjoy this addition to the Otherworld series as much as I did.

A copy of this title was provided. I voluntarily chose to review this title.

I'll be honest. This is one of the last three books in the Otherworld series. I was so excited to start it, yet sad at the same time. I've been a fan of Yasmine Galenorn for years, and I've read every book she's put out in her fiction series, which is many. Knowing this was the last book from Camille's POV is tough.
Moon Shimmers is aptly named. Camille D'Artigo a High Priestess of the Dark Moon and witch, is half fae and half human. She is about to ascend the throne as Queen of the Dusk and Twilight in the Fae Court of Talamh Lonrach Oll.
Camille has a daunting task ahead of her , first. A mission to retrieve the 9th spirit seal from a Primordeal Fae. Next, she must journey to Otherworld, her former home, to the Tygerian Mountains, and find the Keraastar Diamond, which will enable her to reunite the Keraastar Knights. The Knights are the only hope to defend the world and fight against Shadow Wing, whom is out to use the worlds as his playground.
No easy task. Camille is accompanied by 2 dragons, Shade ( Shadow Dragon and Stradolan), Her husband Smoky ( a silver and white dragon) , sister Delilah ( Death Maiden and two faced Were) , Bran (son of the Black Unicorn and the Raven Mother), Chase , Venus the Moonchild (Knight) Rozurial, and Trillian (Camille's alpha husband.)
This adventure had me on the edge of my chair, crazed, and sometimes shedding tears. It is an amazing read, because simply put, Yasmine Galenorn is an outstanding author.

I will start by saying that I have been a fan of Ms. Galenorns writing for over ten years now and the Otherworld Series was my first introduction. I have "watched" these three sisters grow through each new challenge in their lives. I will admit that I like her character the best. I was not surprised that the last of Camille's books would start out with a bang and keep on running. There were both happy and sad times throughout this story and a few big surprises too. Be prepared to stay up late nights until you are finished. I will say with all certainty that these three books ending the series have left me a little heartbroken. If you have fallen in love with this series as much as I have you will enjoy her other series as well. Bravo Yasmine, you have beautiful and creative mind and I do hope you never stop writing!

While there are still 2 more books in this series, this was the last one from Camille's POV. Her story isn't finished (there's still a big, bad to defeat...or not), but there was definitely a feel to this one that the life that we followed with her has come to an end and she's now moving into a new life that we won't see much of.

With her sexuality, I'm used to skipping 6-8 pages at a time to not read the porn that occurs with Camille & her husbands and it was a nice change that there was only 2 sex scenes in this one and only totaled about 6 pages that I skipped. I just don't need that.

It's been a couple years since I read the last book (the library took forever to get this in), but I do feel like this book/storyline was a bit rushed and some things could have been more drawn out, but maybe since Yasmine knew she only had 3 more to go in this series, she just sped it up a bit. I already have the next one from Delilah's POV so time to get that one started.

I have devoured the whole series in less than a month. I love all the little side stories and such, the settings and plots, sub plots, etc. One thing that drove me crazy constantly was the exact directions taken each time the group traveled anywhere in Seattle. I don't live there, so the directions made no sense to me. If there had been a map included in the front like there is of Otherworld, that would have helped much.
Each character from the start of the series to this latest book all developed very much, in a way that seemed that all the books were planned out in advance, not just going along to spread out stories. I love that each character got it's on story every three books. Thanks Yasmine for giving me this glimpse into the lives of these characters. Although, that was a lot of books, I wish there were more that covered the new stages of each of their lives.

The D'Artigos are settling down.

The final spirit seal has been found. Camille must take the journey to get the Kerastar Diamond and become the Queen of Dusk and Twilight.
The book starts melancholy as Camille realizes she won't be chasing loose troll ghosts summoned by Ouija boards much longer.
Life starts moving quickly as the last Spirit Seal is found just off the Puget Sound Coast. It's under water and guarded by a sleeping Primordial Fae. They of course wake up the Primordial Fae, because this is the D'Artigo Sisters.
Now that they have all nine Spirit Seals, Camille packs her traveling clothes and goes to Other world.
When Camille says "traveling clothes" she of course means skirts. I couldn't.

Yasmine Galenorn is a captivating writer. Her books have flow that other authors don't have.

The only thing I disliked about the story is that Camille's group murdered a bunch of kelpies for no reason. You can't blame kelpies for being kelpies, and it really had nothing to do with the story. Also, there was typos.

I was happy to lose myself in the D'Artigo sisters' world again, and saved this book until my vacation so I could read it in one sitting. Camille finally comes face to face with her destiny as one of the Fae Queens and the Queen of the Keraastar Knights. The last spirit seal has been located, and the showdown with Shadow Wing looms on the horizon.
The girls and their loved ones have come so far over the course of this series, and have sacrificed much. Now that the ending is in sight it's kind of bittersweet to have finished Camille's last book and realize that there are only 2 more left. It's difficult to say goodbye to old friends, and though I'm excited to read about how it all ends I will miss my annual visits with the Sisters of the Moon.

Moon Shimmers is Yasmine Galenorn's 19th Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon Series.

Moon Shimmers was an emotional read for me, I put off reading it, then put off reviewing it, due to those emotions. The Series is winding down, and this is Camille's final full-length novel. Of course she will be in future stories, but it won't be the same. And I think Camille is my favorite sister.

Camille is destined to be Queen of one of the Earthbound Fae nations, and coronation is coming up, just as the search for the Spirit Seals and the Kerastaar Diamond is coming to a head. How much more loss can the sisters take?

This book was wonderful, and a great tribute to the culmination of Camille's story. Absolute must read.

OMG!!!! What a way to end Camille's personal adventure!!!! I laughed. I cried and a couple of times I wondered what in the world was going on. Before I read this one, I reread all of the books in the series and it gave me a complete understanding of what Camille has truly gone through to get to this moment. As always, her 3 glorious husbands and her extended family are at her side as she completes her final tasks to become what and who she was born to be. I wish I didn't have to wait until next year for Delilah's final book but until then I will reread this one over again until then. Well done Ms Galenorn!!!!

Coming to an end with new beginnings

Most of us know that this series is coming to an end, but as with each book we have watched each character also go on to new beginnings. This book about Camille is no different. As Camille and her entourage set on a journey that will change everything for her and also will impact some of those closest to her. As always there is danger, intrigue, friendship, and most of all love found in all of these books, and this is no different. So sit back, get comfortable, and allow Yasmine to take you on an adventure into a world of magic. The sad part is not being able to live it in real life, but I'll take what I can get.

This is a good book, as always, with the Otherworld series. This is one of my favorite series and I'm glad Yasmine is going to finish them up for us and give the sisters a well deserved ending. I look forward to the next two books in this series. In this book, Camille finally gets crowned Queen of Dusk & Twilight and so much more. I won't spoil anything for others readers but this book still has surprises in store for all of the Sisters' extended family. Keep them coming Yasmine and thanks for giving this series an ending. I look forward to more great books from Yasmine in the future.

This is one of the last books in the Otherworld series. The Otherworld series follows 3 sisters who are as different as night and day but always have each others backs. I was excitedly waiting to read the book and when I finished quite sad as I don't want this series to end.... Everything is coming to a head for Camille, including her destiny. Moon Shimmers has done what every other Otherworld book has done, made me seem like a crazy person alternating laughing out loud and crying hysterically.

This is a very good series. I have been reading them all and i know it is coming to an end. I am not looking forward to the end of the series, but i love the series just the same.
If you are into Magic, Witches, Dragons, Vampires, Shifters and Fae this is a series for you. You will come to love the characters as they mature through the years of the series.
I have recommended this series to all my friends and family to read. I also recommend that you read from the first book of the series and on, but you can read each one on their own.

It keeps getting better!

Moon Shimmers Ms. Galenorn's latest Otherworld book is a wonderful treat to read. The recurring threads of duty, acceptance and change are woven together to show Camille and her sisters growing and becoming the women they were meant to be. I love the way the series keeps progressing and the emotional depth that is part of this one. One of my favorite books of the year.

Otherworldly!!!

Moon Shimmers was a surprise. The direction the characters take and where they lead the read to, I wasn't expecting. Camille and the entire extended family go on a quest that none of them are looking forward to. With everyone life in limbo and taking different directions is it more than Camille and her sister's can handle.

I really enjoyed Moon Shimmers and how much the characters are evolving into who they are to become. Wonderful job!

A very enjoyable installment in this long-running series. As a warning, this cannot be read as a standalone. You will be confused if you start here.

I tend to enjoy Camille's books most and this was no different. This book had a nice balance of action and family relationships. The large cast was handled skillfully. The journey to the Otherworld was interesting and relatively well-paced (though I could have done with less descriptions of how they got their food for each meal while journeying). I feel like Camille's worries about the future were explored fully but not to the point where it grew tiresome. Her feelings mirror mine as I think about this series wrapping up: sad but hopeful.

Looking forward to the next book!

I love this series! It has been wonderful following all the characters from the first book through this latest offering. I am happy reading and listening to Ms Galenorn's masterful storytelling. It pulls you into Otherworld and you feel that you are on the journey with the sisters. I have been reading/listening to her books for many years and I love them all.
