I don’t want to cry. I never do, but sometimes it’s all just too much. Fighting to survive is one thing. Fighting for love? I’m in uncharted territory and I have a feeling the man laying inches away is in the same situation.
***

Just when I think my heart has recovered from the latest torture this author lays on her readers, I am struck yet again with heartbreak and grief. My poor heart will need some down time after I finish this series. Please note I will be seeking out all the fluffy, lighthearted reads the Indie world has to offer once I close the last book. Recommendations appreciated.

And if I thought writing the review for book 4 of a series was hard, book 5 is even worse. But here we are...practically down to the end. And there doesn’t seem to be much hope for Alex. Losing Wyatt was the last straw. Her will is broken and doesn’t even want to live in this god forsaken world if he is not a part of it. Torn from her family and friends, Alex will have to navigate through actual pain and misery if she wants to protect those she loves. At times it seems nearly impossible.

This series will surely be the death of me. I hope after all that went down in this book (and it is a whole heck of a lot), all that happens with Alex, and that crazy as all get out ending...that something surely will go right for once in the final installment. Right? It just has to. Guess it is time to find out. Let's do this! Once again, 5 Stars!

Alex and the gang are back but not exactly together. Just like the previous books in this series, Broke free is full of action, twists and turns, and double crosses where you do not expect them to show up. I like that I never quite know what will happen or who will show up in the next chapter. Plus who really is the bad guy this time. Alex and Cole start out the book in the custody of Chloe who is still twisted and crazy, with Alex not knowing if any of her friends and family are alive, dead, free or prisoners of Chloe. I liked how Alex ends up escaping Chloe and liked the surprise ending. I did not see that coming. So my honest review is - a wild book to add to the rest of the series and cannot wait to see how it ends. What craziness will Alex and everyone else have to go through next.

It was awesome!

Thinking Wyatt is dead and in captivity, Alex is forced to daily brutal fights and subject to vicious abuse. After months of torture Alex is liberated and finally together with Wyatt although she is pushing him away.....up to a point when she fully commits to her love. The schemes and betrayals are set in motion and new brutal force unexploded takes over and has some sick ideas how to run the world. It was breathtaking!

I love this series! Just when Alex, Wyatt and their friends think they finally won against their enemies a new one shows up. Who will win? The humans, the Mutts, the Hybrids or someone else? Or will they learn to live together in peace? I can't wait to see what happens next and who survives to the end.

Wow, I mean, wow. That was crazy, after everything it all came to a head and Alex and her group are still being used as pawns on a chess board. Now they are stuck under a tyrannical leader what will they do if their secrets are discovered, what will happen to their allies? Also yay Alex and Wyatt are a team again!!

Foot solider

Even with the editing errors this book was good. Not sure I agree that her sister gets a pass on starting it all and her actions after but Chloe is taken out? Couldn't Jane reverse the hybrids?

Lawson really needs someone to read her books before they are published. "Readier" is not a word. "Glace" was used instead of "glance". Just to name a few issues.

Wow...this series just keeps you coming back for more. The characters are friends at this point and my heart breaks with them. I can not get enough and don't want to see it end with the next book.
