Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is an American playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer best known for his work for Marvel Comics and for the television series Glee, Big Love, Riverdale, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He is Chief Creative Officer of Archie Comics. Aguirre-Sacasa grew up liking comic books, recalling in 2003, "My mom would take us out to the 7-Eleven on River Road during the summer, and we would get Slurpees and buy comics off the spinning rack. I would read them all over and over again, and draw my own pictures and stuff." He began writing for Marvel Comics, he explained, when "Marvel hired an editor to find new writers, and they hired her from a theatrical agency. So she started calling theaters and asking if they knew any playwrights who might be good for comic books. A couple of different theaters said she should look at me. So she called me, I sent her a couple of my plays and she said 'Great, would you like to pitch on a couple of comic books in the works?'" His first submissions were "not what [they were] interested in for the character[s]" but eventually he was assigned an 11-page Fantastic Four story, "The True Meaning of...," for the Marvel Holiday Special 2004. He went on to write Fantastic Four stories in Marvel Knights 4, a spinoff of that superhero team's long-running title; and stories for Nightcrawler vol. 3; The Sensational Spider-Man vol. 2; and Dead of Night featuring Man-Thing. In May 2008 Aguirre-Sacasa returned to the Fantastic Four with a miniseries tie-in to the company-wide "Secret Invasion" storyline concerning a years-long infiltration of Earth by the shape-shifting alien race, the Skrulls, and an Angel Revelations miniseries with artists Barry Kitson and Adam Polina, respectively. He adapted for comics the Stephen King novel The Stand.
In 2013, he created Afterlife with Archie, depicting Archie Andrews in the midst of a zombie apocalypse; the book's success led to Aguirre-Sacasa being named Archie Comics' chief creative officer.
Ok, a lot happens in one little issue. First, you find out that Sabrina is a bad-ass bitch and that she reallyreallyreally loves Harvey. Or so she thinks...
One of the cooler parts is when Sabrina passes her world's version of Jughead and she gets a glimpse of an aternate reality where he's a zombie and she's...something else. It was a nice little nod to Afterlife with Archie.
The rest is a bit of a spoiler. A gross, gross, seriously gross spoiler.
So, I guess we're just going to have to wait and see what shakes out of this particular tree...
I'm really looking forward to the next issue! As I've said before, this isn't your old Sabrina.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Sorry, but this one was gross! Edward Spellman in Harvey’s body was a creepy idea from the beginning, but add to that Edward groping Sabrina’s butt and thinking - why doesn’t it feel so bad? Dude, that’s not even remotely funny!
2.5/5🌟 (rounding up because Sabrina finally did some action which was longgggg awaited).
Why isn’t issue number 9 out yet?!?! This one was sick and dark and amazing, just like the rest of the series. They are gory and are for a mature audience that is interested in cult horror. The Netflix show is strays quite a bit from the comic, so don’t expect the comic to be exactly like the show. Personally I think it makes the comic more interesting to read after having seen the show. I recommend this to those who are not faint of heart and like dark, strange, and somewhat shocking comics.
How many issues are in this series? Because when I look it up online, I only see 9 but I feel like this is nowhere nearing the end of the story!
Issue 8 sets Sabrina up to face some repercussions of resurrecting Harvey. It puts her at odds with her aunties, Ambrose, and Salem (which is such a shame...). We also got to see some pretty fun witch magic!
The comic is getting darker and more diseased. Okay, I wasn't expecting a powdery comics like Sabrina The Teenage Witch, but it's still weird how shallow and sick it got. Edward Spellman got even more disgusting, and I don't know he was a person I sympathized with for the show. I was quite disappointed. If you like witches and dark stories, you might love this comics.

This was the weakest imo because we get the previous two installments which take us away from the events of #5 and then come back to this and... nothing much really happens aside from the fight at the diner.
Also, can we please talk about the really disturbing father/daughter incest suggestion - Mr Spellman is FAR too okay with touching his daughter's ass and considering making out with her!
This volume was interesting but just okay. It is hinted at the end that there is going to be another volume. I will still continue the series if the next volume ever comes out.
This one basically picks up where 6 left off. Man Sabrina is a bad ass, but I hope she figures things out. I was worried when I didn't see another one after this that there weren't anymore but it left on a cliff hanger so there has to be more. Right? You see that Sabrina is meant for great things but which side are they meant for.
