not likely to cook from it, but when I saw it at the library I had to check it out for shits n giggles.

It's so adorable, but yeah, not going to cook from it. Just doesn't fit my needs, though there are really quite a lot of recipes included, in various categories, of various styles, that serve yields from 2 people to 25 people.

This was a cookbook that was put together after the show had ended and the proceeds went to charity (Aid for AIDS), so I give the editors a lot of credit for getting responses from so many people involved with the show at different levels (from Tippi Hedren to the Motor Home Driver). That it's not for me is certainly not an indictment on the recipes.

Admittedly, my favourite part was this line at the beginning of the Salads and Dressings section: "I'm so grateful to Angela and her husband Peter Shaw for periodically casting me in Murder, She Wrote and thereby enabling me to keep my Actor's Guild health benefits. As an actress with multiple sclerosis it is difficult to find work on screen. Angela and Peter gave me the opportunity to do what I love most, to act. God bless them." ~Madlyn Rhue

Not adding a date read (6/20/12) because I don't think this should be counted in my reading goal, since I didn't cook from it, barely skimmed the recipes, and there's less than 15 pages of other content.
