The kids LOVE these stories enough to memorize them. I hate them. They're funny, but a bit annoying for grown-ups.

Five Funny Frights offers 5 funny/scary stories in one! Children can read The Skeleton, The Scream, A Dark, Dark Story, Bloody Fingers, and Ghosts! The stories are sure to have children laughing, and if you're reading the stories aloud I am sure they will love it! Great to read around Halloween, too!

This book is great for younger children. When I volunteered inside of my children's classrooms, I would read this book during the Halloween Parties. They were totally taken in by any of the 5 stories within. This children's author reaches a scary climax and ends in a funny situation. Very cute.

Perhaps we just didn't get this book, but the five stories weren't very funny or that frightening. I'm glad that they weren't too scary because our youngest would likely have nightmares, but still I expected more. In any case, it was an easy read and the illustrations were fun.

This is a great book to read at Halloween. It has 5 scary short stories that children can read. I like this book because the stories start out scary but end funny. So i think the students will enjoy laughing at these scary stories around the holidays.

Five Funny Frights was added to my collection when I was about 8 years old. That was 18 years ago and I still like this book. Funny frieghts are stories that will keep children in suspense and then have them laughing. Great book for Halloween!

A few child friendly spooky tales. Totally cheesy, but good. I actually remember a few of these from my childhood. Ah! Memories.

A little bit funny and a little bit scary might be just the thing for Halloween. These five stories might just be what your 2nd or 3rd grader would like.
