The world has been infected by a virus named Gastrea that mutates humans into mindless monsters of destruction. Humanity lost the war. The remaining humans are living in areas protected by monoliths that normally keep the infected out. A force was created to fight off the infected that manage to get through - the Civil Servants. Its members are sometimes quite young, like the Promoter-Initiator pair of Satomi Rentarou and 10-year-old Aihara Enju. Rentarou is the brains while Enju has the virus running through her veins, making her superpowered and able to fight the infected on a even footing, though she has to keep her abilities a secret. The name of the manga comes from the ammunition used by the Promoters - the Black Bullets are made of the only metal that can harm the infected. There is no direction to the story yet, as this volume is little more than an introduction to the good guys above and some superpowered adversary with no name.

Cerita: 3☆ ..... Mungkin karena pas baca lagi rada stress (^///^;;)> pertempuran yang pahit dan nasib anak-anak yang terlahir dengan kondisi terjangkit virus itu pas dibaca makin bikin pahit dan sedih.
Semacam kondisi yang tidak bisa diapa-apakan?
Yang kaya, berjaya.
Yang kuat, berkuasa.
Sisanya hanya untuk diinjak dan dimanfaatkan.
Penggambaran "para sisa" yang berjuang－entah demi idealisme, entah demi orang-orang yang tersayang, atau juga demi diri sendiri－semakin bikin sedih karena rasanya aku yang menyerah pantas jadi sisa dari sisa-sisa.

This was, just. A mess. The action was hard to follow, and the basic storyline is cliché, with all the world-building details that could make it interesting ignored. Probably worst of all, we aren't given any reason to care about the (pitifully flat) main character--we just seem him get kicked around by...I guess the main antagonist, who's introduced before we ever even see what the things they're normally fighting look like.

No ha estado mal. Que me haya enganchado estando tan desganada me parece positivo. Aún así, me da la sensación de que no me ha aportado gran cosa. El tema de virus y mundos post-apocalípticos me cansa un poco pero aquí han sabido aprovecharlo de forma aceptable. Resumiendo, me quedo con las partes de acción, que mantienen un buen ritmo y animan a continuar con la historia.

I enjoyed this more than I did the light novel, partly because the half-decent prose it had isn't here and partly because action sequences almost always work better as images. The panels get a bit too detail-heavy sometimes, and a more stylized aesthetic would have been nice, but all in all a nice manga.

Oh, and the protagonist is the least interesting character, but that's often the case with boys' action manga.

Me ha gustado pero no es la gran cosa, me hubiera gustado que se centraran un poco más en los personajes ya que de ellos no nos hablan casi de su personalidad, y estaría bien en el siguiente tomo conocer los más, espero que el tomo 2 me guste más. Creo que este no me ha gustado más, por que al ser el primer tomo es más explicativo.
Pero a parte de todo lo malo es entretenido.

Morinohon (art) and Shiden Kanzaki (story) really make this a fun start to a series. I loved the set-up in the beginning of the book and how it progresses. After reading as many manga books as I have…I am not seeing anything original here, but that does not mean it is not an enjoyable journey the creators are taking us on. Sit back and enjoy the show!

Premis konflik bagus.Suasana distopia yg dibangun pas.Dinding varanium untuk menghalau gastrea mirip dengan wall penghalau titan di SNK.Kelihatannya banyak loli yg akan muncul.Gambarnya juga oke.Gambaran pertarungannya pas dan dapat keseruannya.Ternyata manga ini saduran dari ranobe dengan judul yg sama.Jadi penasaran dengan versi ranobenya.
