a concise well written paper on command line usage for beginners. I would give this to a first grader along with their first ~real~ computer, preferably a cheap netbook running one of the more user friendly version of linux. teaches you the bare essentials you need to learn the command line on your own.

Good introduction book for beginner to learning command line

This book did a good job explaining the basic function of command line, it includes a few common use command that every beginner should know about. Besides, everything else is just normal introduction book.

This book is sure helpful, and it's exercise are something else "it was for me". the way we use all our learning to solve the exercises is really helpful and frustrating but I guess these are the 2 sides of
the same coin, that being said if you are someone how want to learn command line it's definitely worth your time!

I think this is a great introduction to the command line for non-technical people or those just starting their tech journey. And a mandatory one.
