DAUGHTER OF DESTINYBorn a princess, the fiery, beautiful Sharula was not pleased with the prospect of becoming just another wife in the harem of Tamera's virile young king, Ramessa. She learned exotic acts of love and tantalized Ramessa enough for him to make her his queen--unwittingly allowing her own passion to make her his slave. Ramessa called her Nefertiry. She did not care that she was surrounded by enemies and brutal intrigue. She cared only for Ramessa. But there was one thing she must keep hidden in her heart. A deception that she alone must nurture--a deception that would ravage her heart forever...
Thrilling story set in a country called Tamera. It is a very well-written story that has lots of drama and suspense. The ending is definitely bittersweet. It's a shame that it isn't available in ebook format since the paperback I own is from 1978 and the pages are brown with age.
