About the author

Rukmini is a food stylist and food writer, who enjoys recipe developing and styling for editorial, advertising and commercial clients. Her cookbooks include 'The Roasting Tin' and 'The Green Roasting Tin', and her next cookbook 'The Quick Roasting Tin' is out with Square Peg in June 2019.

Rukmini left the law to retrain as a chef, working for Tom Kitchin at 'The Kitchin' in Edinburgh before moving to London to do what she loves best - food styling, recipe writing and development. Her first two cookbooks, with Parragon and Quadrille, are due out early in 2016. When she's not styling and writing, Rukmini enjoys planning for an extensive organic kitchen garden from the confines of her London balcony, complete with chickens.

Een heel mooi vormgegeven boek (vooral die fluor roze kleur is prachtig en ik ben blij dat die ook door het hele boek voorbij komt). Het eten, tja, het ziet er lekker uit en is niet eens zo moeilijk te maken, maar ik en sesamspul = geen goed idee, dus ik gok dat ik Koreaans eten maar moet ontwijken, helaas. :( Ik kan me niet herinneren dat andere Koreaanse kookboeken zoveel sesam hadden, maar misschien heb ik het verdrongen. :P

Leuke recepten maar jammer dat er niet overal een foto bij staat van hoe het eruit komt te zien. Als ze dat nog hadden gedaan was dit boek 5 sterren geweest.

Made me hungry even though I had a big breakfast. Everything is neatly and simply arranged with straightforward instructions and clear indications of cooking and preparation time, serving sizes, etc. Cannot wait to try some of these simple, fresh and delicious-looking recipes in the kitchen. Time to hit the Asian grocery!
