A great book, has an abundance of variety of recipes, ranging from arroz a la paella, which is a Spanish dish consisting of land and sea meats/seafood, sausage, clams, chicken, crab meat served in a bed of rice mixed with peas. The beef section is presented in an excellente manner, such as prime rib roast with homemade horseradish cream sauce, yorkshire pudding one of my favorite main-dishes. Techniques on how to cook a duck before placing it in the oven to give the skin the true crispiness. Molten Cakes served with a dollop of whipped cream, almond cheesecake brownies, etc. With this book, you can cater to anything get togethers, restaurants, beverages for parties or if you have your bar. The creativity is endless in this book, I give this book 5 stars!

This was a wedding present and I use it quite a bit. Hands down, my favorite recipe is "Susan's Meatloaf."

This is an excellent cookbook. Not all recipes are 5star but I would say that most are very good. This is my go-to cookbook in many ways... When I'm stumped for what to cook for dinner, when planning my weekly menu, and just for general how-to. Even if I use my favourite on-line recipe finder I almost always search for a similar recipe in this book to make sure I'm on the right track when making a dish. It is the perfect all-in-one reference. I think every new cook should have it. The other benefit is that most of the recipes are easy to follow and don't involve complicated steps or ingredients.

Oh my goodness ... I can review COOKBOOKS on goodreads! How truly awesome. Well, this one is my greatest resource for everything from the easiest, quickest, most amazing chocolate cake to the best darn beef stroganoff you'll ever taste. Go out and buy it immediately if you aren't like me and already using it daily.

This is the cookbook I reach for when I want a recipe. I bought this book because every. single. time. I asked my young friend for the recipe for some amazing dish she made it came from this cookbook.

Since then, I've copied a lot of recipes for other friends who've tasted some yumminess and want the recipe.

I like the size, the format, the chef tips, the pictures. Good. Basic. Accessible.
