I used to read Christmas with Southern Living faithfully every year. Somehow, I fell out of that delightful tradition. I'm catching up with all the editions available at my library.

One of my favorite Christmas recipes is for a pistachio brittle that I found in Christmas with Southern Living, 2000. My copy is a bit battle worn after 22 years of making it. Trying to locate that recipe is what had me seeking out this wonderful yearly offering.

The Christmas with Southern Living books are great fun to read, to make you dream of beautiful holidays and delicious offerings.

I suggest you seek them out and enjoy all the Christmas with Southern Living books.

I look forward to this book every year. I did find a few new recipes to try but many of the offerings this year weren't quite as attractive and appealing as past years' have been. I wish there were more decorating ideas and more ideas for things to give/share. Nonetheless, as always, this book put me in the holiday spirit :)
