So, my favorite comic is back and I was pretty excited to see how everything was going to be after that cliffhanger in the last chapter.
And surprise, surprise they decide to show us other characters. Do you hear that sound? It's me feeling let down.
Not that the story was so bad, more on the okay side of things than anything else. It was nice to see more of the small characters that show up, like the lady who wanted Marko's naked body in the other volume. However, the protagonist in this volume aren't the more interesting or engaging folks that show up in this comic and was really hard to care for them at any moment.
The final was the best part because my favorite assassin, The Will, showed up and I anxious to see what will happen in the next volume. I really wish that my hunters family ( meaning: The Will, Gwendolin, and Sophie.) to be reunited; stay together again and let all this hunting nonsense go so they can get their happy ever after, but this probably will take some time and I'm ready to wait and suffer.
Overall, was an okay volume, but Saga can do much better and I hope to see the other characters in the next volume.

Writer: Brian K. Vaughan Artist: Fiona Staples Publisher: Image Comics Release Date: October 2016 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
Summary: Hazel and her family face new threats as the repercussions of past choices catch up to them. Marko and Alana must navigate danger while keeping Hazel’s safety their top priority, and unexpected allies begin to appear.
Review: A tense and emotionally layered chapter. Vaughan combines suspense and family drama seamlessly, while Staples’ art conveys fear, hope, and exhaustion with equal weight. The issue deepens the stakes and continues to explore the cost of survival.
1. This series literally has the best covers. 2. It's like fantasy/superhero/love story/sci-fi/drama/comedy. All genres in one. 3. The art is captivating and tells a story. 4. The little side frames of Hazel's narrations is pretty great. 5. I feel like people will soon have Alana's haircut. And grow horns like Marko. 6. Basically all of the first and last pages of these are genius. 7. It was very distracting to read dialog while Upsher and Doff were copulating. 8. The Will is huge!! Hahah 9. This one was absolutely amazing!!! 10. Get out of here, Ginny. I hate you. Marko, stop calling her. 11. The underwater planet is really cool. 12. Upsher’s eyes are so pretty. 13. Doff talking to Upsher: “If the worlds are going to hear about her, I want it to be from someone with a heart...someone like you.” AWWW 14. Upsher talking to Doff “Ew, that is the most breeder-sounding thing you’ve ever said. Your biological whatever isn’t ticking, is it?” HAHA 15. What was with the eyeball lens on the camera? Creepy thing was watching Upsher and Doff have sex. 16. The violent flowers are really need that they bloom where there has been bloodshed.
Another update issue, catching up with Doff, Upsher, and the Will. The issue took a big leap forward when The Will came on the scene. All badass, uncharacteristically plump, and talking to a dead ex-girlfriend. I'm waiting for Marko and Alana to find Hazel. Hope it happens soon, as Vaughn is moving all his chess pieces into place.
It's extremely difficult to rate the individual chapters, therefore the following is a review of the sixth volume. In other words, chapters thirty-one through thirty-six.
I am not the biggest lover of graphic novels, but there is one series that has me truly hooked: Saga. Brian K. Vaughan has created a universe that grips me, and I cannot get enough.
If you have not read the prior volumes, go back and read them. Volume six continues the story that has been building throughout and entering at this point is sure to leave readers confused. For fans, there is plenty in this volume to leave you turning the pages. While it is not my favourite volume in the series – there was less humour in this one and parts focused more on progressing the story for characters I’m not the biggest lover of – there was plenty throughout to ensure the story was devoured in one. Plus, the ending will leave you desperate for more.
All in all, the sixth volume of Saga has continued to demonstrate why this is the only graphic novel series I continue read.
Upsher and Doff are ready to resume their work about Alana & Marko but when they visited the place of hostage that The Will appears so as sweet boy to take revenge. In short, those two are now affiliates to The Will.
