Best Lesbian Erotica 2003, edited by Tristan Taormino was as per the usual a mixed bag of erotic shorts. Some I liked and some didn’t do it for me. I can’t get excited about the boys and daddies and some of the more aggressive slap-your-bitch-up style sex in this anthology.
There was plenty I did enjoy, however, like Elizabeth by Julie Levin Russo, a slightly out of place historical amongst all the contemporary material and Luck of the Irish by Kyle Walker was the star of this anthology. Art History 101 by Carol Rosenfield was fun as was At Long Last by Madeleine Oh.
I also like to mention Keeping Up Appearances by Kenya Devoreaux, Of Ghosts and Shadows by R. Gay, Free-Falling (sex in zero G, y’all!) by Elspeth Potter, Wide White Sky (Aussie goodness) by Cheyenne Blue and Bull Rider (cowgirl sexytimes in Amsterdam) by Sacchi Green.

Themes: the girls in this anthology are busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.
