BURNING BOND is book six of the HOLLY WOODS FILES series. While it can technically be read as a standalone, it's advised to read the first five books prior to this for full enjoyment.

Two men, both determined to protect me.
I think I love one. I’m almost sure I’m in love with the other.
Ride or die just got a whole lot realer.

A sizzling sexy romance hence why the title of this book is fitting to be called Burning Bond. Emma Hart once again heats up the pages as she captivates readers to be riveted with Bek’s story. I went into reading this book knowing that it was a love triangle and somehow I survived. If you know anything about me, I really hate love triangles because I am one of those readers who feels bad for the other party. Did I feel bad for the one who didn’t win Bek’s heart? Of course, but the heroine did have two amazing men fighting to win her heart. So if you are looking for a story that has romance, steam, angst, and suspense thrown into the mix then I suggest you read Burning Bond as Emma Hart doesn’t disappoint her readers and fans of this series. All there is left to say prepare yourself for one sizzling electric love story.

Burning Bond is not a love triangle, it's THE love triangle. I didn't expect to fall in love with Bek the way I had with her counterpart Noelle. But alas, this quirky, mouthy girl stole my heart.

I usually refuse to read love triangles, but when it's written by Emma Hart and it's stuck right in the middle of one of my favorite series ever...you go in with hope and a bag of peanut butter M & M's to get you through. I survived and am absolutely thrilled with the decision our girl Bek makes for her present and her future.

"Burning Bond is as fiery, angsty, and fever inducing as the title promises. Wonderful addition to the Holly Woods saga. Five star read." ~Audrey Carlan, #1 NYT Bestselling Author

descriptionYou should know by now I'd do anything for you. So, if you want me to fight for you, Rebekah Hough, then I hope he's got a fucking army ready and waiting. I'll fight for you, and you better believe I'm gonna fight damn dirty.

I'm going to keep this review short because otherwise... SPOILERS!!!

Holly Wood Files is hands down, literally one of my top favourite series and my top favourite from Emma Hart's collection. This series is sexy, mysterious and entertaining and Burning Bond is a fantastic addition to Holly Woods Files.

Regardless of the fact that the previous books are all from Noelle's point of view, Bek's story from Bek's point of view fits this series like a puzzle piece. Burning Bond well and truly lived up to my expectations.

The book had me hooked not only from the mystery that surrounded the murder but more so because of the mystery and anticipation in getting to know, who would finally Bek choose ― Jason or Brody.

Burning Bond like its predecessors, is utterly entertaining! All of my favourite characters, which is basically everyone in this series, come back and OMG Nonnaaaaaaaa!!!!!! She is probably one of the best characters I have read to date.

descriptionI want someone to look at me the way that Drake looks at Noelle. Like I'm the center of someone's world. Like I'm the point of their entire universe to orbit around. Like I'm home.

This story will keep you on your toes from the very first page. There is mystery and suspense and love and since it is a Emma Hart novel, there is bound to be lots of steam. I have loved every single moment of reading Burning Bond and I am really really really sad that this series is coming to end with the next book. Oh and yes! I HIGHLY recommend you picking up this series, if you already haven't.

I love this series and was super excited to know that Bek was getting a book. I couldn’t wait to find out who she would choose to be with, but - because I don’t want to spoil anything - I’m going to keep this review short and sweet.

Emma Hart knows how to write a great book. There is so much mystery that is mixed with chemistry. I rarely read love triangles, but this one was written so well. I did have a preference for who I wanted her with, but I knew I would enjoy it either way because Bek would choose whoever was best for her.

This book was so good! I couldn’t put it down. I was so enraptured by the mystery and found myself on the edge of my seat to see who she would pick. I am sad that this series only has one more book, but so glad that I’ve gotten to read about these characters for so many books already. I’m looking forward to reading more about Noelle and Drake next! ~ Leah, 5 Stars

Just what the doctor ordered. If you are looking for the elements that make the Holly Woods Files great – tight family bonds, fun and funny secondary characters, witty banter, and a suspenseful murder mystery – you find it again in Burning Bond. When we last left Holly Wood, Texas, Bek Hough, Noelle’s best friend and employee at Bond Private Investigations, was torn between two men – Jason, FBI agent and the man she is currently dating and Brody Bond, Noelle’s younger brother (in other words, he’s been in her life forever) and police officer. Bek not sure if she wants to go any farther with Jason because he is uncertain that he wants to settle down near Holly Woods. Bek is a small town girl and she wants to stay that way. The FBI is notorious for transferring people and it is the means for Jason to promote within the FBI. Waiting in the wings, waiting since they were kids, is Brody. Brody is hot and Brody is a player, but he has always carried a torch for Bek since they were kids.

The crime du jour is a series of gang rapes perpetrated by a trio of guys across state lines. Bek, while walking her dog, interrupts one in progress and saves the woman’s life while the perpetrators run away. Then there is a mad scramble to protect Bek in case the rapists recognize her. This threat to Bek’s safety unleashes both Brody’s and Jason’s protective instincts as they jockey for position.

One of things I most appreciate about this story is that the crime element is straightforward. White hats are chasing black hats. The criminals are wily and manage to elude law enforcement for awhile, but as expected, the good guys get their men. What is more complicated is the love triangle. I will say here that I am not a fan of love triangles. I loathe them. I hate the idea that a person can be in love with two people at the same time and have a divided heart. However, this one did not bother me as much because Bek and Jason’s relationship is fragile. Neither is fully committed and they are dating casually. So there is room for possibilities between Bek and Brody. Bek’s chemistry with Brody dates back to when they were young. What works for me here is a feeling of first love. In some ways, because their attraction started as kids, there is an element of innocence and purity. However, make no mistake, when they get together, it is no longer about purity - hubba hubba.

Emma Chase excels in witty banter, especially among the Bond women (I include Bek in this group.) There are times in the past where I thought the dialogue went over the top, but not here. It maybe because Noelle is not in the picture for most of the book. She is larger than life with a big, bossy personality that overshadows others. It is nice to see Bek get her turn.

Fans of this series will not be disappointed with this latest edition. It is fun, flirty, action-packed with plenty of spice.

This. This is the book that we've all been waiting for. Finally. Finally we get Bek's story. And let me tell you, Bek's story does not disappoint. From the moment you pick up this book, you are sucked into Bek's story. Noelle has left things in her hands while she goes on a much needed vacation, but you have to know even with Noelle gone, there is never a dull moment in Holly Woods. Bek's story hits the ground running and I promise you, there is never a dull moment. From an easy case, to an unexpected danger, this story will keep you on your toes.

There's not much I'm gonna say about Bek's story, because I don't want to spoil it for you. Here's what I will tell you. This story is fun and entertaining. It has the great humor that we've come to know and love with this series. All of our favorite characters make appearances and they definitely know how to keep things interesting. This story has something for everyone. There is mystery, and suspense. There is danger and a case that desperately needs to be solved. There are exciting twists and turns. There is romance and some wonderful steamy moments. This book honestly has it all.

Burning Bond is a fantastic addition to The Holly Woods Files. This might be Bek's story, but it certainly fits right in with this series. Bek's story was everything that I wanted it to be and more. It is incredibly well written and will captivate you from page one. I loved every single moment of Bek's story and my only complaint is that the story is now over.

Why did it have to end??!! I loved everything about this book! I loved getting to really know Bek better. We've always just known her has Noelle's best friend, but now she gets her chance to tell her story, and boy is it a good one!

Whose team am I on?
Team Jason?
Team Brody?
Team Bek? Which would be telling her to forget them both and go her own way. (Insert Music) "You can go your own waay! GO YOUR OWN WAAAAAY!" (Cut the music). I'm sorry, but Fleetwood Mac cannot be contained!
Anyway, where was I? Right! Bek forgetting both of their asses, which at times she'd be better off doing...like during their pissing contests. Damn dogs have to mark everything.
Bek had a lot on her hands. With Noelle out of town, she was in charge of running Bond P.I. And it wouldn't be a true Holly Woods Files story without some mystery and drama. I think Bek has had enough to last her a lifetime now. Being thrust in the middle of it all on top of having to deal with Brody and Jason would be enough for anyone.

The back and forth, the does he want me, am I good enough, who do I choose, it all made for a story that I could not put down. In typical Emma Hart fashion, she'll have you laughing one minute and on the edge of your seat, on the verge of tears the next. I was listening to music while reading and the perfect song happen to come on at a pretty intense moment, and I couldn't stop the waterworks. Bek's story is one that, before I had even finished, I wanted to start over again. That's what I did after reading the last page. I knew there was no way that I was ready to let her go, so I immediately turned back to the beginning and started over. It's that amazing!

I can't believe that Burning Bond is the first book I read in the Holly Woods Files series.
I found myself sucked into this story right from the beginning and I could not put it down - it was an addictive read ,and now the only thing I want to do is read the whole series.

Burning Bond is Bek's story. It's not an ordinary story- it's a story full of angst, suspens, passion and love. Jason? Brodi?
The characters are flawless and this is what made the story stunning and beautiful . I don't usually read love triangle because I get frustrated but Burning Bond is different ,because you can't help but loving all the characters which make Bek's choice even more difficult.
This book was fresh , funny, captivating and had all the ingredients to make a story perfect .

Whoa! This book will take you on a wild ride and have you thinking twice about going outside alone in the dark. I've always been a little paranoid about going outside in the dark, but wow, after this novel I may not go out at all.

This novel kept me confused on how to feel. I was scared due to the mystery and I had anxiety about which guy she would pick. So, I teetered between being afraid of what is lurking in the dark versus what her decisions she would make with the two men in her life.

I felt sick with worry over both situations throughout the vast majority of the book.

Once Noelle leaves on vacation for a couple of weeks and Bek is in charge things instantly go wrong and Bek finds trouble with her out of town. Hold on because once you start this you won't want to put it down.

Finally we get Bek’s story and find out who she is going to choose! I feel as if I’ve been waiting for this book forever, and it definitely did NOT disappoint!

I have always loved Bek, Noelle’s best friend, since she was introduced in the first book in this series. She is just as crazy, wild, and fun as Noelle, but maybe not as risky with her life. In the last few books we’ve seen her dealing with dating Jason, and having Brody distancing himself and causing problems for her. In Burning Bond we finally get to see her choose who she wants as well as get herself into a whirlwind of trouble!

As with all the other books in this series, there is a crime in Holly Woods, and it’s not just a petty theft. This time it’s rapists, and Bek ends up in the middle of the investigation, all because she was walking her dog and found one of the victims. From the beginning of this book through the end, there are so many twists and turns and what the hell’s in the case it’s not funny. Emma Hart does an amazing job of making you guess, think you have the answer, and then being completely wrong, on each and every one of these books.

So we have the crime taking place, we have Bek involved, and that is the majority of the story, but we also see how everything plays out in the Brody, Jason, Bek love triangle, that’s not really a triangle because her and Jason aren’t committed, and she doesn’t know what to do with Brody. I can’t say who she picks in this book, but OMG am I happy with her decision. Things are rough for her, and she has some major decisions to make, and they are not easy, but I loved how she came to decide who and what she wanted.

Just because this is Bek’s story, doesn’t mean you don’t get to see crazy Nonna, and all of her shenanigans, I think she’s more prevelant in this book than she has been in previous, and I absolutely adore her character. Anytime you see Nonna in your book you know you’re about to laugh so hard tears come out of your eyes. I love Noelle, Drake, Bek, etc. but I must admit, Nonna is probably my favorite character in this series. She is hilarious, delusional and down right awesome!

Not only was this story super romantic, but it had just the right amount of “who-done-it” going on that it kept me on the edge of my seat. Who was hurting these woman, and who will Bek pick? That was going through my head the entire book, and it kept me guessing all the way to the end. I adored Bek’s story and am not so patiently waiting for Twined Bond so we can see how this series ends, but I’m also sad, because I really do NOT want this series to end. The Holly Woods Files series by Emma Hart is a MUST read for anyone looking for suspense, laughter, and some super hot men to fall in love with! I can’t suggest this series enough, and Burning Bond just made this series go up even higher on my all time favorites list!

“Loving you has never been a choice. It’s always been inevitable.”

There are some books and some authors you just know are gonna be awesome. Its the author who makes you have that faith to give you something mindblowing every single time. Emma Hart is one such an author. This is the 6th book in the Holly Wood Files series and every single installment has been as good as the previous one.
This book is different coz its Bek's story. We still have glimpses of Neolle and Drake and rest of the Bond family so don't worry. However, it is preferable to read the previous books in this series before reading this one.
He tastes like perfection. He tastes like forever. He tastes like the rest of my life.

This time its a love triangle between Brody, Bek and Jason. Bek is Neolle's best friend and has been left incharge of the Bond PI while Neolle and Drake are on their vacation. Brody is Neolle's youngest brother and has been requested by her to keep an eye on Bek. Jason is the FBI agent she has been on a "sorta" relationship with. Left on her own devices, Bek has to make some strong decisions, especially on her feelings about both the men in her life. Adding to the complications is the gruesome case that she has accidentally landed on. It is another nail-biting, mind-fucking case which fills you with dread and thrill. The author has integrated mystery and romance beautifully as always.
When this book was announced, I was #teambrody all the way. Brody is absolutely swoon-worthy. He's strong, handsome, funny, smart and just the guy to give you butterflies in your tummy. So i'm just gonna leave these here...
“You should know by now I’d do anything for you. So, if you want me to fight for you, Rebekah Hough, then I hope he’s got a fucking army ready and waiting. I’ll fight for you, and you better believe I’m gonna fight damn dirty.”

“Don’t ever doubt how I feel about her, Dad. Just... Don’t. I’ve loved her since she threw a rock at me and broke my nose because she didn’t know how good her aim was.” “Bro, you were six. She was seven.” I hold his gaze, my heart thumping painfully. “Exactly.”

Heading into Burning Bond, I feared the love triangle…I feared Noelle’s meddling and Bek’s reception to her best friend’s advice…I feared that Bek wasn’t going to live up to her other half, her partner-in-crime, her sister from another mister. But I can wholeheartedly say that I had NOTHING to worry about. I adored every aspect of Bek’s story, and when she finally does make her decision about which man to fully give her heart to, Emma Hart has made it abundantly clear as to who’s, besides Noelle, Bek’s home.

I’m a huge Noelle Bond fangirl. She’s the perfect blend of sass and smarts, and she absolutely owns who she is and stands for what she believes in even when it gets her into trouble. I should have known that her best friend would be Noelle’s kind of crazy as well as a kickass private detective who refuses to backdown or go against what she believes is right.

Holly Woods may not have Noelle’s antics to help solve the newest case to hit the quiet town, but when Bek finds herself ensconced in a Noelle sized messy situation, she moves forward knowing she has an FBI agent and a HWPD detective on her side, regardless of their Fred Flintstone behavior.

Emma Hart’s Holly Woods Files Series continues to seduce readers with the perfect blend of suspense and romance as well as fierce heroines and kickass alpha males who understand that their leading ladies are independent and head-strong, which means that they’ll fight right alongside their men, instead of cowering behind their heroes waiting for them to save the day.

Burning Bond was a great 5 star read.
What woman wouldn’t want two hot men fighting over them?

Bek is left in charge while Noelle is on vacation for two weeks. She has been seeing Jason however Brody doesn’t want to give up on her. She has known Brody for years, being the brother of her best friend. These two are definitely alpha males and know what they want, Bek.

The story takes a twist when Bek comes across a young woman that has been attacked in the park. There is concern for Bek’s safety so both men need to play nice to protect her. Can they and will they for her sake, get along?

This was a great read. I was on pins and needles the whole book. I couldn’t wait to see who the final choice was, I went back and forth throughout the book. You won’t be disappointed in the end.
Emma Hart draws you in with her writing and you won’t want to put it down until your done.

4.5 Stars!

This is the first book of this series that I have read. It was easy to read as a stand alone but fans of the series will enjoy it that much more. The suspense was well written and had me pulled in from the beginning.

The best part of the story is the familiarity between the characters. This is one big happy family, whether by blood or not. The humor, the inside digs, the brother/sister dynamics and of course Nonna. All of that made for a most enjoyable read. Bek has some tough choices to make throughout the book. Ultimately she listens to of all people, her best friends fiance. Always best to follow your heart when looking for your forever.

Love triangles are not my thing. Too much tension for me. The over arching suspense and danger helped with this. And of course, Brody ends up being such a gentleman and takes care of Bek when she most needs it. Love triangle forgiven! I also got tripped up on the way Nonna's dialogue was written. I understand she has a heavy accent. It was just difficult to read. Neither of these little blips detracted from liking the story. I would definitely read more from this author.

4.5 shining lovely fun stars!!!

What a lovely, exciting, sweet fun book to read. I enjoyed every moment of it.

The dialogues are genuinely funny and witty, I love love love the quirkiness of the characters, none of them are perfect, but so so so darn lovable.

The heroine, Robekah, is absolutely adorable in a kick-ass way, I want to stalk her and asked her to be my friend..... She is sarcastic, strong, funny, stubborn and just so much fun to read the things she said.

The hero is not as vividly portrayed as the heroine, but he is really likable as well.

The story line is intense, fast-paced and very exciting to read.

I am late on the Emma Hart wagon, I am still exploring her books and this book had just given me the excuse to go crazy with my book shopping from this author's line-up of books.

Bek and her two dudes. I can't say I was surprised by the choice she made (although I wouldn't have minded a nicely melded trio, once all was said and done, but that's just a thing I like, so....yeah.), but I did enjoy the journey getting to her HEA.

Or her Happily Ever LET'S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE AND HAVE WORDS BECAUSE BEK IS A STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN WHO DIDN'T BECOME NOELLE'S BEST FRIEND BY BEING A DOORMAT!

No lie. These two ladies make me smile. Even when one is miles away enjoying her first vacation in years. Sort of. I mean, it's hard to sit back and relax when your best friend is being menaced in your hometown.

But this isn't Noelle's story. She really needs to stop butting into my review. (What? The lady is stubborn and pushy and, errm, PASSIONATE about getting her point across.) This is BEK'S story. And she has to figure out if the man she's had a thing for her entire life, but who she considers off limits because of his relation to her BFF (and his hot and cold emotions) or Jason is the one for her. Jason's a genuinely good guy who does his thing and does it well. The biggest hangup between them is his job and how it pulls him away from them as a couple for long stretches of time.

No matter what, someone's going to get their heart broken and that's a little sad. Except it works. It works.

One more book. Noelle and Drake are waiting for me!

Check out more of my reviews on at Home. Love. Books. - The best place to find your next book! http://www.homelovebooks.com photo synopsisgraphic.png

I absolutely am in love with this series. There is no way around that. That being said, I was more than a little apprehensive about this book, because it doesn't follow the heroine we have all come to know and love, Noelle, but instead follows Bek, Noelle's best friend and co-worker. Truth be told there has been quite a lot of build up coming to this book, is Bek with Jason, or does she like Brody? Well this is the book where all of those questions are answered. Since this is a mystery/suspense I won't give many details about the plot line, but I'll still try to explain why I loved the book.

So I have always like Bek, she's just as crazy as Noelle, she's clearly one of the family, but she also balances our Noelle and vice versa. She's also funnier then I thought she would be, but not in the same way that Noelle is, which was awesome cause I was kind of worried Bek was going to end up being Noelle 2.0. While Bek does manage to find herself in a scary situation after stumbling upon a rape victim and becoming a target herself of a crew of murders, Bek is a bit more, I think I would call it reserved when it comes to danger. She doesn't go full force charging into the fray, but that's not to say she backs away either. I liked that she soldiered on trying to get to the bottom of things even though she was scared.

Now for our two males! I always seems to be on the lookout for a good love triangle. I just like the idea of them in books (only in books though, cause in real life who needs that kind of drama). Brody easily becomes my top pick, I mean it's almost a little sad how quick I determined Brody was my guy. He's just kind of lovable. And honestly, he knows Bek, and doesn't try to fight her on who she is, he is ready to be by her side. Jason on the other hand, I didn't love him in this book. Which totally bummed me out, I mean I actually really liked him in the other books. But in this one, he is so worried about Bek for her safety, but he expresses so badly. Plus the juvenile fighting that he and Brody have going on just annoyed me as much as it did Bek. It was easy for me to be #TeamBrody.

That being said, the scary plot really worked for me. Sometimes the hijinks that Noelle finds herself in is totally over the top, but in this one, the situation was totally believable, and that's what made it so disconcerting. Bek is so easy to root for in this book, and I can honestly understand why she had such a tough time figuring out which direction her heart wanted to go in. Plus we also get to see a little bit of Drake and Noelle in this book, it has me wishing that the next installment in this series would hurry up and get here because I love Noelle's cupcake lovin' brand of crazy.

~ 5 Amazing Story Stars ~

Well I never thought I would say this, but Emma Hart knows how to write a love triangle the correct way. I am not a fan of love triangles at all, but since I knew Emma wrote this book I knew I had to read it. And I am glad I did. This is exactly how love triangles should always be written.

I went into this book knowing who I wanted Bek to end up with, but because that is a major part of this story I won’t be expressing any feelings I have about the love triangle. You’ll just have to read this book yourself to see who she chooses…..Jason or Brody????

Burning Bond is the 6th book in Emma’s Holly Woods Files Series, and although technically it can be read as a standalone, because it is solely Bek’s story, I wouldn’t recommend it. To get the true emotions and background on all three main characters….Bek, Jason and Brody, I feel you should read the previous books to get all the information needed to really enjoy the emotions and feelings that come out in this book.

Now if you aren’t a fan of love triangles, don’t let that scare you away from reading this book. There is so much more to this storyline than the triangle. The suspenseful storyline in this book was AMAZING!!! I was truly on the edge of my seat the whole way through this book.

As with all the books in this series, Emma does a fantastic job sucking her readers in and holding on tight to the very end. The pace and flow of the story was really good. This book is primarily told from Bek’s POV, but she did throw in a couple chapters from some other characters. Also as we have seen in the other books….this is a completed story. Everything is completed and solved by the end of the book. I am looking forward to getting back to Noelle and Drake’s story in the final book Twined Bond. (coming in November)

We do see most of the characters in this book. We get some of Drake and Noelle, Trent and Devin, and of course crazy Nonna and her crazy parrot Gio. I will say Nonna added some great sass in this book and had me laughing a lot!!!!

If you are a fan of this series, you don’t want to miss this book. I think this might be one of my favorites in this series. Emma really did give us a little bit of everything in this story!!!

TATIA'S REVIEW
5 STARS

Book 6, yes 6, of the Hollywood's files. This one could technically be read as a standalone alone, you should read from the beginning so these characters have a great build up in your mind. Trust me, you want to read these laugh out loud books in the series.

Seeing as how I absolutely adore Noelle in the other books in there series, I knew I was going to like Bek just as much. We really only knew Bek as Noelle's BFF. This time Bek gets her one story. And boy does she! Having to not only deal with the the trouble that is lurking with Noelle away, but being confused on which man she actually really truly loves.

I can honestly say only one bad thing and that's the love triangle. And that's not because the author didn't do a hell of a job giving the reader the romance, comedy and angst that would come with a triangle. But because they just aren't my cup of tea, I always pick the one they never end up with, then I get angry with the character.

The Holly Woods Files are a go to read when I'm feeling like something funny, sexy and with some mystery that has you on the edge of your seat.
Burning Bond is the story of Noelle's best friend and her struggle to choose which man is best (all the while keeping true to the Holly Wood Files formula)
Drake and Noelle are one of my favourite book couples. I love everything about them together (then you add the rest of the Bonds, EVEN Nonna, and its fun times all round!) So, yes I was excited for another instalment in my favourite series, but no Droelle?! Could I survive... Yes, Yes I could. Bek's story was such a great read and can confident stand next to its counterparts.
There's a reason Bek and Noelle are Best Friends. Reading Bek's story has a familiarity that the rest of the stories do, but its new and fresh to see Holly Woods from a different POV. Bek is just as sassy as her BFF but I found her to be a little less of a hot head and that was fine by me. She's just as lovable as Noelle and obviously much loved by all the Bonds.
For any readers that think this is a love triangle and have reservations about that, stress less. Yes, she is caught between two men and needs to make a choice BUT its not a love triangle per se (there's no cheating either which is a bonus!) Emma sets the scene so brilliantly and you are right there along Bek's journey towards ultimately making her choice. The story moves along effortlessly and there's no drama for dramas sake.
With any Holly Woods Files there's some underlying mystery/murder going on. I think with each book this component gets better and better. This story had me on the edge of my seat and just waiting for that moment when it all comes to a head... And boy does it!

So, I have a confession. I was really scared to read this book. So scared that I waited till the last possible minute to read it. Why was I scared, you ask. I was scared that Bek wasn’t going to pick who I wanted her to be with. I was scared that because I am not a big fan of love triangles that I may lose some love for the characters involved. I will not spoil anything and tell you if I was Team Jason or Team Brody, you will need to read it to find out. I will tell you that I had no reason to be scared at all. Not just because of the outcome but because the book was so well written. I am not a reader of love triangles but I couldn’t not read Bek’s story. I needed her to get her happy ending, no matter who that was with.

The writing was fantastic as usual. The story and plot flowed so well with the previous books. While this ca be read as a standalone I HIGHLY recommend reading all of the Holly Woods books. Not only is this one of my favorite series ever, reading the previous books will help with the secondary characters and fitting them into the story. Bek is such a fun, feisty character and to see her vulnerable side in this book just made me love her even more.

I loved being in Bek’s head. I always wonder what she is thinking when reading about her and Noelle. Bek’s struggle is real when dealing with Brody and Jason. I felt for her because she has such a kind heart and only wants everyone in the situation to be happy.

This book flowed so well with the rest of the series and has amped up my excitement for the next Holly Woods book. I never want to leave these characters!

This book was absolute gold! I'm always apprehensive when a series deviates from the main characters after so many books on them,
I'm not a fan of love triangles either, or even when the female is older than the guy (only by a few months here) but I love this series too much and I was so excited to read this book that I overlooked all that stuff. I'm not going to say a lot because there's a lot of chances for spoilers. But ever since there was hints of Bek's relationship problems in the previous book I knew who I wanted her to be with and let's just say that everything that particular guy did in this book made me like him even more.
I really liked reading Bek's story and am really glad she had her own book. But it makes me sad that we are only getting one more.
November can't come fast enough.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you haven't picked this series up you are missing out on some of the best characters I've ever read.

Perfect!

Ever since starting this series I was curious to see if we would have a spin off with Bek and here it is and it was just utterly perfect!

For those who hate love train goes just as me this isn't necessarily and love triangle since is obvious from the previous books already who Bek ends up.

Once and agin we have a GREAT MYSTERY/PUZZLE to solve. I must say this was one of those that kept me holding on my chair from nervousness.

I just love the plot, the relationship between the characters, getting to know Bek and the others supportive characters better!

Defiantly one of my fave books from the series that is already one of my favorite series of all times. We get romance, comedy, sex, mystery, great writing and fantastic characters!

Emma Hart has once again outdone herself!
Burning Bond was a stunningly written novel! Not only was my attention captured from the first page, but it was held all the way until the end!
I absolutely loved getting to read about Beck, Brody and Jason! Throughout the entire novel, I was constantly falling in love with these characters. They were so dynamic, that they were emotional, while still maintaining their humour. I will not give any spoilers away, other than the fact that I definitely received the ending I wanted.
I also loved getting to see the cameo's from Nonna and Noelle!
I can't wait to read whatever Emma writes next! No matter what it is, it will be at the top of my TBR!
5/5 Stars!

*********************MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS******************\

Bek is just as fierce as Noelle, “I just shot a paper guy in the ***k,” I say loudly, turning my head back to face him. “Do you really wanna go there right now?” Brody has a way with words, “I’m a gentleman like that, hotstuff. If you’re gonna wake up with someone’s ***k poking at you, you should at least be aware of it before.” He grins." I don't blame Bek, the woman likes to ogle her man's goods, "...the sheets falling down his stomach and pooling in his lap. So far down his lap that I can see the top of his ***k. “Bek. You’re perving on me again.” I loved this book, these are characters that I can't wait to dive into their story again, that's how memorable they are.
