Easy to understand recipes, and I just realized all the curry recipes use tomatoes (either puree or fresh). I know tomatoes give that 'umami' flavour, but they can be gout trigger for some people. (An excuse not to cook Indian food, I guess. Ha-ha)

And #TIL, the Indian word for 'almond' is 'badam', like in Malay.

This book covers all the basics and the recipes are easy to follow. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to cook authentic Indian food
