Very interesting -- vegetables are in alphabetical order. Each entry shows a color picture of the item and tells a little bit about it. The following page(s) tell you how to shop for the item, how to clean it, store it, etc. There is a section on "Cooking Basics", Nutrition, and How to Grow Your Own. Finally, there are recipes, as well as sidebars of little tidbits about the item.

I ended up copying a really yummy looking recipe for Roasted Cabbage with Chive-Mustard Vinaigrette. I can't wait to try this!

a well put together compendium of vegetables with a few well curated recipes each and general info about each vegetable. a bit disappointed to find so many recipes reliant on bacon and dairy products, but the photos were nicely done and overall a good resource and reference for those who might want a guide to help them explore new veggies.

Beautiful photos that support everything you ever wanted to know about 100 different vegetables including recipes and suggestions for what to serve the vegetable with. A great way to experiment with new vegetables and try new recipes for familiar vegetables.

The photos in this cookbook are gorgeous. I love the focus on fresh vegetables because I get a farm share every week. I like that this book is divided up into sections on different types of vegetables and tells you basic information, like how to best store each veggie. I like that the recipes are tasty, but very healthy at the same time. I have tried a handful of recipes so far and they have all turned out well and were very straightforward to make. This is a cookbook that lives on my kitchen counter so I can easily consult it.

I dont often read cooking books, mostly because either the recipes are too complicated, having too many ingredients or because they dont appeal to me.
well, I have to say I enjoyed this one. we eat veggies all the time, twice a day and my son has food allergies so veggies are a constant staple. The book is filled with easy recipes, inventive and innovative, accompanied by beautiful photos. In all honesty the only downside is they should have added more photos!
highly reccomend

Boring too textbook like

Pretty photos but cooking is an art and this book is sort of scientific in nature and boring, much too boring to read. There are very few interesting recipes it seems like the author isn't a cook or even a foodie. I didn't enjoy this book.
