"We have tonight. And one night is all you need."

One Night Is All You Need: A Short Story was hauntingly beautiful. It's a short YA paranormal love story that gave me the creeps and made my skin tingle. At first, I didn't know what this novel was up to but as I went through the pages, I found myself so consumed by the simple and surprising plot about the teenager girl Margot Green who took the tour of an old historic town named Key West together with her family and who later on met a guy named Sam who unexpectedly made such a great impact to her life in just one night.

This is a perfect Halloween read. It's well-written and very touching. I don't usually read spooky stories that much but this one made me appreciate them. If you're looking for a short and creepy reads (with a bit of romance) this Halloween, I highly recommend this. :)

P.S. It's free on Amazon right now ---> http://www.amazon.com/One-Night-All-Y...

One Night Is All you need is a captivating and haunting read. Things might have escalated quickly, but since this is a short stories I can't really complain do I? This book make me long to meet and get to know more of the characters. I specially like the setting of the book, which was in a small town called Key West. The story quite focused on the events rather than the characters for me to actually connect with them, but nevertheless, the story has served its purpose which was to leave a piece of itself for us to ponder after you finished reading it. Sometimes, unforgettable experiences can be found on the place where you least expect it, and sometimes, One Night Is All You Need.

I really can't summarize this book without giving away too much information. Just wanted all you guys to know that this book is so good that in just a few words, it was able to show us a story of indifference, acceptance, letting go and living our life instead of taking it for granted.

Thank you sis Pearl (click the link to read her review) for recommending this book to me. This is such a wonderful guilty pleasure and well-written story. It takes place on a town called Key West, wherein Margot together with her parents are on tour. While on it, a mysterious boy named Sam caught her attention. They had a good conversation and seems these two have mutual interest. Small towns have their own secrets and mysteries but it's up to you to believe it or not. One night changed it all.

I find the story predictable but the premise is captivating and beautiful. The ending is touching. I wish this is longer because Margot and Sam are great characters.

I am a big fan of short stories. It's a great way to see if you're going to like the writing style of an author that you're checking out, and a nice way to relax in between novels.

Or so I thought...

I was already familiar with Kimberly's writing when I came upon this book on Amazon - and how could I say no to a free short story? It had been sitting on my Kindle, just waiting to be read, when I decided a few days ago to "crack the spine."

I should have known that it was going to bring on the feels.

Margot is feeling a little lonely now that her older sister is going away to college, and a little stifled by her mother when they decide to stay in Florida a little longer. While they are out one hot evening getting a tour of Old Town Key West, Margot meets a handsome and charismatic boy named Sam. And that's just the beginning of the story...

This story was really good. In just a few pages, a well written and eventful story is told. She really describes Key West perfectly - the weather, the sights - it was honestly like being there again. The characters were well done and I enjoyed reading about them and their adventure on the streets of Key West.

At the time this review is written, this short story is free on Amazon.

"It's okay," said Sam, his eyes softening. He held out his hand to her. "We have tonight, and one night is all you need."

This is a short paranormal romance story. And it was creepy.

And so our MC Margot gets rejected by some girls at the beginning. They were unwilling to hang out with her.

But then, she meets a handsome boy-Sam. And so, they decide to go on a date at Key West City Cemetery. ( you might be thinking, a cemetery, huh?)

Sam shows her the graves and Margot's reaction when she found out what Sam was:

Ahahaha so hilarious! XD

But in the end, before she has to go, she ends up saying good-bye. And then they are both able to move on.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE LOVERS, this book is YOURS! Even if you are not one, I still strongly recommend it because it can really mess up your feelings and this book may be an opening for you to start liking romance books. It was a really sweet story, and it's free to download on Amazon. If you're still doubtful about trying this book, now you have my word!

Oh my lord

This was so sweet, yet sad. Margot is touring through a historical town with her parents when she notices a boy off to the side. She doesn't think much of it until he approaches her and they talk.

Her mother calls out to her and Sam tells her that he will catch up with her later.

When he does catch up with her, he asks her to make an excuse to ditch her parents and she does. He takes her to a cemetery, where they share a kiss and Sam reveals a secret that will change everything.

I'm not one to read short stories, in fact the only other short stories I've read are the readings we have to do in English class from time to time. I've got nothing against them, it's just I'm more of one to tune into full blown novels with all the meat.

Back in June I raved about Kimberly's book Grunge Gods and Graveyards because I absolutely loved it. So as any reader would do if they love a book, I looked up the rest of her work and discovered this short story and a few other works by her, some of which I added to my TBR pile.

This short story features Margot, a teenager who is in Florida with her parents, as they were all helping her older sister move into her dorm at the University of Miami. Margot's parents decide to go on a tour of Key West, dragging Margot alone. Here she meets Sam, a local who she runs off with in the middle of a tour in hope of some adventure.

The story was quick, the story was fun, and even though it was short it had some plot twists to it. I enjoyed it very much, although I wish there was just a little more action to it, although since it's a short story I know it's difficult to do. I felt as if just as soon as the book started it stopped, although isn't that kind of the point of short stories? I'd definitely read a full-length novel featuring Margot and Sam.

The eBook is a free download, so go check it out if it interests you!

That's all???

I can honestly say I'd read anything this author writes, this short story is just as good as her full length novels and they both always leave you wanting more.

I could eat Kimberly Giarratano's prose with a fork and a steak knife. There are no workmanlike sentences here or flowery turns of phrase. Every word is tight, muscular, and load-bearing. Her novel, GRUNGE GODS AND GRAVEYARDS, was the same way.

This short is not a sequel to GGG, but they are of a piece, and even share the same universe (with a few winks to the latter.) I wasn't sure what I was getting into here...it's described alternately as romance, supernatural, paranormal, and mystery. But it's what I call a good, old-fashioned campfire tale. In fact, after the first few pages the rising dread I felt in my gorge reminded me of nothing quite so much as an Edgar Allen Poe piece.

"One Night is all you Need" is short enough that almost any plot description would count as a spoiler. In both a good and a bad sense it's over before you know it. I hadn't expected to even get through it this weekend, but I sat down, opened it up, was quickly absorbed, and in half an hour was finished...and still a little spooked out.

I've said for quite some time now that KGG is going to be a major new talent, partly because I believe it, but mostly because I want her to invite me to all her movie premieres and SNL hostings and so forth. The rest of you still have time to jump on the bandwagon. For only $0.99 you can learn the rules of the road with "One Night", and when you're ready you can jump in for a longer road trip with GRUNGE GODS. I highly recommend both.

" I'd never put you in danger. Besides, I like you, and I don't meet many girls I can say that to."

" We have tonight, and one night is all you need"

One Night Is All You Need is a captivating story. I saw Pearl's book review (Hi ate! *awkward wave* hahaha) book review here and it made me interested to read this. It's about a girl Margot Green who is currently on a tour with her parents at Key West. Key West is a creppy and old historical place. Then she meets Sam and boom! It all happens in one night. As I read this I adore every bits of it. The story is well written. The plot is amazing. Oh, the plot twist. If only this was not a short story because I want MORE *sigh*.
I highly recommend this! If you want to read this, it's free on amazon.

ONE NIGHT IS ALL YOU NEED by Kimberly G. Giarratano is a great introduction to the author's writing. The Key West setting comes alive like a character in this short story and made me want to be there. Margot, however, doesn't want to be there with her parents. That is until local hottie Sam comes to her attention. Their whirlwind night comes to unexpected end when Margot learns the truth about Sam. I love a story that takes place in one night, and this story captures that magic wonderfully!

I enjoyed this short story. Saw the twist coming (maybe I shouldn't have read the reviews before I bought it) but I liked what the author did with the ending.

Good writing (and editing - only noticed one tiny punctuation thing), perfect for a Sunday afternoon.
