An excellent picture book featuring a bunch of adorable cats doing cat things. What's not to love? This is a fantastic read around Christmas for cat lovers. Never mind the fact that it's February! It's still Christmas like with all the snow on the ground.
When we cracked open this book, we were surprised when our very own cat started to hunt our feet under the bed covers. And then Prim decided to jump onto the bed to join us during cat storytime! True fact.

Pretty cute, but why did they have to "rhyme" "my true love gave to me" with "a white cat with a red bow?" Was there NO other thing they could have written that would actually rhyme with "me?" It is the only darn rhyme you have to come up with in the whole song!

Great book. I love this book. I love the artwork and I love the cute cats. I read this book for the 1st time and I sang it to myself. I love all of the cats. The cats in the book look so real, that you can pet them. This is a great book to share with a little boy or a little girl or anyone who loves cats for the Christmas. I plan to share this with my nieces and nephews one day. I guarantee you'll love this book. Perfect to share if you're Christmas Caroling and if you love singing about cats. Kandy Radzinski is an excellent artist. I give this artist 2 thumbs up!

This is a beautiful children's book, based on the traditional Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas", only it's full of cats! The cats are pictured in front of the window, doing what cats normally do...playing will rolls of ribbon, lapping up a bowl of milk, sleeping, playing, hiding, and climbing, to name a few. Several breeds of cats are mentioned, and the illustrations of them, as well as all of the illustrations, are just beautiful. They are full of color, and animation.

Adorable -- questionable rhyming, but who cares? Great to read aloud to an appreciative audience.

Most everyone has heard of the Christmas Carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas, but now a delightful spin on that popular song, for children and cat loving adults alike: The Twelve Cats of Christmas, by Kandy Radzinski is just that.

In this adorable holiday book, the author features twelve cute as can be cats in various poses, playing, drinking milk, and just have a fun time. The story, a parody to the original song, is told in sing song rhyme:

On the fourth day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me
four Siamese,
three climbing cats,
two cats asleep,
and a white cat with a red bow.

The author/artist Kandy Radzinski has created a page turning delight which rich, colorful detail that truly makes the book a keeper for years to come. If you have not had the opportunity to view some of Radzinski's illustrations in the past, you need to check out one her books. Highly Recommended.

A beautiful Christmas variation of the "12 Days of Christmas" that is directed for those who love cats. Each day brings in the same amount of cats doing something cat-like that will remind us of those actions that intrigue us every day from our very own kitty-cat friends.

The pictures are so gorgeous within this book for they do a glorious job in catching the cats both in motion and stillness. Each collection of cats is showed in bright realistic colors while at the same time being bordered with Christmas-like themes. It is a definite charming book for anyone who has a cat in their life....

if i counted correctly, my true love gave me 359 cats. even the crazy cat lady down the street doesn't have 359 cats. where do you get 359 cats? wouldn't this mean you end up w/your own tv show or on springer?
the wrong book to read at two in the morning.
even michael jackson probably never had 359 cats.

This is one of my top 10 (maybe even 5) read aloud Christmas books. Of course, it follows the theme of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" but it replaces each original gift with a cat/cats who are doing all the silly and cute things that cats do. The pictures are fun, and so is the story! So fun to read/sing aloud to!

The main draw of this book are the illustrations. Colorful, cute and detailed. The text is just a crazy cat enabler's version of the "12 days of Christmas".
