It's been a long time since I've read the A to Z Mysteries (I thought the series had ended). But I missed Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose more than I realized :0

I love A to Z Mysteries. That is why I always give 5 stars. So what happens is there is the man a owner of a hotel his wife and son had gone away so he had a sad life. But Ruth Rose and Dink Duncan oh and Josh suspect him. They think he stole the orcas. Read weather he stole it and why how when. read the book to find out.

Read this as part of a Reading Without Challenge to read something in a format I don't usually read. Haven't read a chapter book since I was a kid. This was a fun mystery and something I could now recommend to kids at the library who are looking for an adventure story.

This mystery talks a lot about orcas and their habits. It also takes place in Alaska, a place I’d love to visit. Great characters and great story.

I like how the crook, in this case, saw sense and changed his mind. I hope he doesn't get in any real trouble. I can understand how he felt, but he made a very poor decision.

Super simplistic but engaging little mystery I read for a 2nd grader tutee. I've meant to read one of this series for reference anyway and enjoyed the experience!

I loved it. I loved seeing the little orca but when the Orca got older I didn't like it because it wasn't as cute as when it was little.

I really loved this book because it taught me a lot about orcas. I also liked how in the end the poacher realizes his mistake and releases the baby orca back to its family.

Josh, the slightly dimwitted/not too bright and doltish sidekick is becoming more annoying. But still quite sn adventure fir the trio of friends

This book was a quick paced mystery following three kids trying to find a missing baby Orca. The book was jam packed with facts about Killer Whales, many I had never heard before. This book would be perfect for any animal lovers with a thirst for knowledge! The book had a powerful message about the lifestyle of animals in cages, as well as bringing light to the cruelty Orcas face when poachers capture their young. The mystery would keep any reader on their toes, and the end is warming to any heart as we learn to not judge people for their actions.
