At last, we have nearly reached the end of our grim tale. When the Handsome Lawyer proposes (gross, love), Barnacle, Melancholy, and Garlic do not react well, sparking a cross-country adventure to bring the man Miss Emily loves back home. Unfortunately, everywhere the triplets go, trouble follows, and in this case, so do a bunch of wild characters, making it hard to stay under the radar. All the while Mr. Weirdie and the Enchantress are holding Miss Emily captive, forcing her to teach them how to be good people. Will anyone get the happy ending they deserve? Or will all of these awful people end up where they started?

🎙Narrators: Helena Bonham Carter 🎙
This series has become my absolute favorite! I am always waiting for the next book to drop, but lets be honest. I will wait 2 years for another if I have to, I just don't want to! I want to see what else these zany kids get up to!
I loved seeing how much they continue to grow within their journeys they call life. They are ushered with Emily their adoptive mother, and her boyfriend. And let's just say this boyfriend has some serious secrets I can't wait to see unfold!
✨️ All opinions are my own, honest, and voluntary✨️.
I love this series. The author breaks the forth wall and the narrators (the first two was Kate Winslet and the last two are Helena Bonham Carter. They make the story much more interesting and funnier!
These stories are fun and funny at times. this one is the exception. This IS the weirdest one of all because its not even a story. its a field guide for the woke. all of chapter 4 is nothing but a woke rant that has NOTHING to do with the story. then throughout we get long snippets of the narrators personal life that have nothing to do with the story. it's a woke train wreck.
This book stinks. Two to the characters have a silly little tiff about getting married. And end up just "choosing each other every day." That is just stupid. Sadly Goodreads doesn't allow zero stars so I begrudgingly give it a one.
The road to happiness - Reunited with Miss Emily again, the kids' latest mischief involves getting the Handsome Lawyer (he stuck around, and why don't we know his name) to come back home. The proposal was shocking and they couldn't handle it. But disliking the sadness they see in Miss Emily's eyes, a cross country chase by the 10-year-olds is afoot. So much chaos will lie in their wake, and many people will be miffed. While they are on the lam, Miss Emily and Tammy (and the raccoons) are kidnapped by the Weirdie elders. They want to know how to become better people. Releasing the ladies should have been a step forward but they are a work on progress. They kinda get there in the end, two more people graced with the beam of light that is Miss Emily. A fitting end to the series, a happily ever after achieved in a very weird, very wonderful way. Ms. Carter did a bang-up job with the narration.
I can’t believe this series is finally over! It’s such a fun little series of stories for children that includes great jokes for the adults. Helena Bonham-Carter was ana amazing narrator, and I love how she kept making asides for her “personal life” and what happened to the previous narrator. The story is basically another wild ride that keeps you entertained until the very end. I thought everything wrapped up quite nicely and I did not expect that plot twist with the reveal of who the narrator actually is in relation to the Weirdies! I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a fun and quick story to listen to while on the go.
This is probably my favorite book out of the series. The twins remain as quirky and hysterical as ever, but they also grow a lot in their love for Emily and understanding of emotions. The ending wrapped up the series well, though the “twist” wasn’t particularly necessary. I laughed out loud quite a bit listening to this one. I prefer Kate Winslet’s narration in the first two books, but Helena Bonham Carter does an excellent job as well.
Another great (and final?) installment in the series. Helena does a great job narrating. Little quips and references are so funny. Highly recommend the series
Helena Bonham Carter does a great job narrating these odd books. I enjoy them though as they are unique and there are some fun pop culture references thrown in. highly recommend the audibles.
Not me crying on the way to work as I finished this book! I've loved this series- it's been so much fun, but this last book did me in! I was not expecting all the emotions.
These books are nuts. Feels like the author is pulling random ideas out of a hat and tying them together. The first book is the best (& I hope that this is the last?)
