#1 New York Times Bestselling Author of The Cellar and The Cabin. Romance and YA Thriller writer, boy mum, Tom Hardy enthusiast. Always buried in a book and a glass of wine.
While it was fun to catch up with Oakley and Cole and the rest, it was a bit too fluffy for me. I like stories with a little bit of conflict. I feel like this isn't very realistic. I mean, really... who's Chirstmases are completely without a little clash between folks here and there?
I thoroughly enjoyed this novella enabling me to catch up with Cole, Oakley and all the amazing characters that I have grown to love throughout the series. Christmas is such a magical time and it warmed my heart to see the families together enjoying this wonderful time of year. I sense this may be the last book in the series as it has been some time since Silent Night was published, but I do hope that one day the author will put pen to paper and give us an update of what has happened in all their lives.
It's been an absolute pleasure to re-read this whole series over the past four days. I've always said it is one of my favourites and spending time again with them all has confirmed this!
Natasha wypełniała chyba jakieś bingo podczas pisania tej nowelki, bo wydarzyło się tu wszystko jednocześnie było wszystko powtórzone, jakby czytelnik był debilem i nie wiedział, co czytał przez trzy tomy
Ugh just the ending we needed I loved it. We got to see all the family’s together got to see more of Oakley and cole and of Mia and her kids. And of Jasper and holly and their daughter. This little short story was just what we needed to close of the story. It was so amazing.
I only read a short snipper of this book but it was a really good one, I am intrigued as to what happened with Cole and Oakley. Did I mention she has a adorable relationship with her brother Jasper? OMG!!! He is SO FUNNY!!! And his christmas presents for the family are HILARIOUS and EPIC in a good humoured way! (really they might scar or embarrass someone like his mom *insert laughing emoji*)
I loved the happiness, loud, crazy, funny, overeating-like-you-have-never-ate-before, and making food for 20 people instead of like 10! This is what I love about all the holidays the get together you have with family, these are the most memorable moments and cherished ones.
I haven’t read anything by Ms. Preston, but after reading this quick story I will definitely pick up another.
This is an adorable quick Christmas read about second chances. Silent Night is the fourth book in the series. You join Oakley and Cole for a Merry Christmas with their two children and one on the way.
All and all a great read. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a sweet and warm-hearted book where love withstands.
The moment I started reading silence, the first book of this series, I absolutely fell in love with it. Honestly the characters meant so much to me and I couldn't stop thinking about where they might be today as if they weren't only words on a page. This book was a little disappointing but it was incredible. If there was over a 100 books in this series, I would read every last one of them. I really hope this isn't the last book.
Although this is a little snippet into their family christmas it was a lovely feel good snippet that gave you the chance to see how all of the characters were doing and some of the joy they felt over Christmas, it was a good feel good snippet :)
A short story I found offered for free on Apple iBooks that continues the story of Oakley and Cole, who I first read about in 'Silence'. This is book 3.5, so much has happened to the characters in between that first book and now, so I imagine other readers would appreciate the continuity of reading everything in order, but I didn't mind. 'Silent Night' naturally occurs on Christmas Day, as Oakley celebrates the holiday with her family and appreciates the special gifts that surround her. A cute, quick read that can easily be enjoyed during a lunch break at work or while on the treadmill at the gym.
In the book silent night it is the last book of the series and i really wish it could be longer than it is because i loved this series sooooo much. In the last book it is Christmas morning Oakley and Cole have two children Everleigh the oldest and Bentley the baby. It is the day that they hang out with their family and have an amazing time but Oakley has a surprise for the family. Silent Night
There is no reason for this book. It could just have been added onto the third one as an extra chapter. Written like the others. Can't say I'll read another one of hers again.
Why did I read it? Ratings and reviews were good, I'm feeling highly disappointed. On the upside it helped me to fall asleep.
Brilliant and touching to read heart breaking in some parts i would definitely recommend it. I couldn't put it down from beginning to end thoroughly enjoyed it a good read for anyone.

I wouldn’t usually rate a book like this so high but I first read silence when I was 12 and reread it every few months for the next 5 years. Finding this at age 22 gave me an immense amount of serotonin, especially when the characters made my whole teen years. I called the surprise on page 6 but a cute book. Even nicer finding it so close to Christmas as it’s set at that time of year.
This whole series is just incredible from the first book to the last. You won't be disappointed with this series. This is the last book so you'll have to read the first three to understand this one but you won't regret it. Oakley and her family have finally found true and real love, trust, and respect. For sure this series is one that I won't forget.
It's SO short! I didn't love the time jump element; the connection wasn't there like in the first two books. But it was a cute and fluffy Christmas centric novella and it delivered cheese, with a dash of cringe in spades.
Such a quick, feel good read set during the holidays could you not give it five stars? In all honesty, there was no story line here really. Just a book about the families enjoying their holiday. Still enjoyable though.
It was a cute and funny short sequel to Cole and Oakley life years later. Nice to know everyone has move on in their lives and new babies have arrived, also that Cole and Oakley are still and more in Love than ever. Great story!
Follow up to the previous 3books in the series. You must read the others to get the full story. I wish it was longer. I can't believe I have to now move on from Oakey, Cole and Jaspers story.
Gave closure to readers about Oakley and Coles life. Learned about jaspers relationship, and how Mia deals as a mother. Miles becomes a step dad, and all of the children of the teens from Book 1 are best friends
I love how it went from the last book were she was pregnant and this book they were married and had 2 kids. Was supposed that her brother had a kid and was finally happy even her mom this gave the story a good happy ending I really enjoyed it

This book was super short but a perfect ending to the series! All of the families are together for the holidays and so many things are happening to perfectly wrap up the story. A very happy ending!
Dialogue was amateurish and awkward. Most of the non-dialogue prose was a rehashing of the plot of the series which ultimately served to make the short story feel like it wasn't something the author wanted to write but rather felt obligated to write, like it was meant to just fill space.
I read the first book then just had to read all four books, smiled and cried thought the books , so glad there was a happy ending , just wish all children who are abused got their happy endings.
