You know, I can't really figure why I kept reading. The premise of the story is actually fairly interesting. Its fatal errors were that (1) it didn't seem believable -- or perhaps I find the police and other authority figures in the story to be unbelievably inept and out of protocol; (2) there were just too many instances where the author seemed to be attempting to manipulate the reader's emotions, but hadn't built up enough facts to make the emotions believable. And the one gaping hole that I had an issue with was, after two deaths on the cruise ship, *whhhhy* wouldn't the cruise ship just halt its trip right then and there for forensics reasons, let alone why on earth would the characters just keep cruising...?

In short, my suspension of disbelief was pretty much spent. Additionally, the descriptions of the creepy antagonist in the beginning of the book (and throughout) just seemed stale and uninteresting.

It's all so unfortunate, because the story line was actually pretty good, and the plot twist was excellent. The delivery was just lacking.

It was a mercifully short read.

I give this 3.5 stars.

This was a riveting read that I finished in one fell swoop. Interestingly creepy and gory, with different mini plots along side the main one, it wove together beautifully in the end. Great carry over into the next Emma Frost novel with a surprise hint in relation to Victor's illness. One of Willow Roses better novels. Recommended.

Ridiculous plot, flat characters, zero research into police procedures. 1 star, only because there weren't too many grammatical errors.

Tweedledum and Tweedledee (Emma Frost Book 6) by Willow Rose Tweedledum and Tweedledee (Emma Frost Book 6) by Willow Rose is a truly horrifying book. I gave it five stars because it kept me guessing. It reveals a lot of the cruelty of children & men toward something different & fearful.

I purchased a copy of this book the end of December. When I did start reading it, I finished it overnight.

I'm a huge fan of Willow Rose and my favorite genre is horror. This book is really disturbing on many levels, least of which is children as victims. I'm walking away from this one, so I won't rate it.

Starting of this book was definitely strange for me and wasn’t sure if I was going to like it! But of course I was wrong because it was a fabulous book! Emma Frost and her family on cruise that finds there is a killer aboard with them and then it hits close to home for Emma! I definitely would recommend this book 📚!

Once again Willow Rose kept me interested! If my husband hadn't finished his traveling, for the week, I would have found out in one day what happened to the brothers known as Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Until the very end of the book I would have never thought it was what it was! Thanks Willow for keeping me guessing where your stories are going.

Reading a book, I’m always trying to figure out how it will end. This book was a real shocker and though Emma Frost figured out the culprit, she too was shocked at the sight of him. This one is a must read to understand what I mean. In the midst of all the craziness, no better way to describe the storyline, is an underlying sadness to the story. It’s bizarre and what Willow does best.

I’ve had this book for years and finally decided to read it. It was about a Dutch woman, Emma Frost, who goes on a cruise with her autistic son and his friend. While on board, young people start disappearing. Along with the cruise story, the reader also learns of a pair of conjoined twins who had been abandoned by their father and abused their entire lives. They were practically wild and only spoke to each other in their own language. Their father eventually repents, becomes a doctor and goes looking for them. No spoilers here, so that's all I'll say about the story. Evidently, Ms. Rose has written several books about Emma Frost’s adventures, but I’m not sure if I’m up to any more because I found this one to be pretty grisly and it made me rather squeamish. I’m not really into knives and people having their skin removed.

I'm always a bit shocked when I find myself giving Willow Rose less than five stars, but I came close to making it 3, to tell you the truth. It was sick, just sick! The cruelty shown to Dee and Dum, plus other savage acts were painful to read about. I will keep reading Willow Rose, because she's an excellent writer, and most of her books are not so violent. This is the 6th Emma Frost I've read and am hesitating to buy the 7th, but I have become very fond of Emma's family, especially her young son.

Tweedledum and Tweedledee

The very name of this novel grabs your attention before you ever get to the first page. It keeps your interest and anxiety level both up for the entire story and then shocks you at the very end. A real cliffhanger that introduces the author's next novel is another interesting twist. Good whodunit.

Glad I finally read a book by Willow Rose.

This was a nice fast moving story. The characters were believable and likable. Nice twist in the plot when I thought I had it all figured out. I like that it is a series but each book stands alone. I will definitely read more of this series.

I have read several books by Willow Rose and enjoyed all. I love cruising and my husband said that this story should curb me of wanting to go on another cruise. Looking forward to reading even more books by Willow Rose.

Another fun quick horror story to keep you wondering.. As only Willow Rose can do!
This time Emma Frost and her family are on a cruise ship when kids start to disappear and murders are plenty. This is a sick twisted story of Siamese twins who are destined for a life of cruelty thanks to his father who couldn’t bear to look at them at birth. What follows is a sick killing spree in hopes of keeping the twins together
This is a pretty decent read but I did find a majority of this book to be too outlandish and nonsensical. I don’t know who or why people would stay on a cruise when there was a killer or killers on the loose and why Emma Frost ,who is always the protagonist in these stories ,takes the liberties to find information out and not face any repercussions or her actions with the police..
That being said the premise was interesting enough to keep me reading and it did keep me curious as to how it would end! And as usual fashion this story will continue with the next Saga of Emma’s daughter and family problems!

A creepy mystery. Eva is on a boat cruise vacation with her parents, Victor and her friends son because Maya did not want to go. While there teenagers are starting to come up missing.
This also follows the sad and tragic story of conjoined twins that were left in a dumpster by their father only to be saved and live a life of bullying, abuse and torture. This was once again hard to read as I hate to read of children being hurt. I know the backstory is important to understand the mind of a killer but the details of abuse really are a little too much for me.
Highlights:
I’m glad I didn’t have to read too much about Morton. He actually did make one smart recommendation towards the end of the book about the killer. I guess he is not completely useless.
Also Emma please stop confronting killers without a weapon. Saying I’m going to call the police is not scary to a killer......
What I do appreciate about Willow Rose is she is really good at keeping her books a mystery until the end.

I enjoy this series for many reasons, but this episode was particularly macabre. I really hope Rome in the 1970s-1980s wasn't as backwards as it was portrayed... to send home conjoined twins immediately after birth with zero care? And then all of the horrible things that followed... it seems grossly unbelievable in many ways. One's skills in suspension of disbelief are called on heavily throughout the book. And still, Emma can't quite manage to use her money, education, and professional writing skills to work to figure out an accurate diagnosis for her own son. I keep hoping WR will agree to educate herself and her character on Autism spectrum disorder and sensory integration/processing disorders at some point.

I’m at 29% and I could strangle Emma. She doesn’t care that her special needs son likes gory things because it’s the only thing they can talk about? Is she delusional?

Also Victor has shown time and time again he has a 6th sense and still Emma doesn’t believe him...

What is wrong with that woman?

Also that race driver’s name... Alonzo Colombo? Couldn’t be more cliche-y...

Then Emma’s ignorance. She “just told the police the truth”. Way to justify your behaviour, stupid cow.

And the drinking. Emma doesn’t seem very responsible to me, downing beer after beer.

The best so far in the series!

Emma Frost continues to try and have a somewhat normal life, but faith has other things in mind. As Emma, Victor, and a few more family members, go on vacation, of course it definitely turns out to be more than just a relaxing cruise. Willow has managed to put a new twist in this book that I have not had in any previous mysteries. You will be shocked, but not disappointed! Of course, this book ends with a huge cliffhanger. This will definitely have you reaching for the next book in the series!

Awesome Read!

I really enjoyed reading this book! It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was gonna happen next! I loved the different characters in this book/series! I love how the Author gives you background into of what happened in the past and brings you up to date thinking you know who the killer is, but oh no! You will be totally wrong! This is my first series that I am reading from this Author and I am loving this so far! I can't wait to read the others that I have purchased! I definitely recommend this book to others!

This was one of the worst books I've ever read. So many questions, but here's a few:

1. Why would anyone intentionally write such a cruel story?? The cruelty was so specifically mind boggling.
2. Once a child is reported missing, why would the ship keep sailing along its merry way?
3. Then, when there's a murder...
4. Then when another child is missing...
5. Why didn't the police or other authorities ground that ship and search it from top to bottom?

It was just illogical all the way through. Don't waste your time; you can avoid nightmares.

Fantastical

A really good book. I have given it a five stars because it deserved a five star. If could give it more I would. Having been reading the books by Willow Rose for a few weeks now, there is something so different about them to other books. I can read them and although they can be gross they are not to the extreme meaning I can enjoy them. I hope this author writes many more.

Emma Frost, her family, and her neighbor’s young son go on a Mediterranean Cruise. A 14 year old boy goes missing on day 2. The parents are devastated. A search begins for their son with no luck. Then the mother is found shot in her head and the husband is arrested and charged with killing both his son and his wife. Emma is concerned and don’t believe the husband killed them. Soon another teenager is missing. When a picture of that missing child is pushed under the family’s cabin door, Emma is convinced there is a serial killer on board the ship. Finally, the crimes on the ship become too close to her. The neighbor’s son that she is responsible for is missing from her cabin, Emma panics and vows to find the killer before he kills again.

Chilling

Every book I read by Willow Rose surprise's me. How does she come up with her storylines! She is so talented. I'm amazed that reading 6 books in a series I'm never bored or disappointed like I have been reading other author's series. If you like reading fast paced, imaginative thrillers she is the author I would recommend.

Can't wait to go back and read the previous Emma Frost books, so I can start the following ones in the series!

horrifyingly amazing continuation to the Emma Frost series, gave me shivers reading it!! The portrayal of the story transports you into it and I couldn't stop reading until well into the early hours... not always a good idea when reading something of this genre, but it was well worth it... on to the next one :)
