Catch up with the bros from Alpha Tau with this anthology of the bonus short stories.
It contains Bro Jobs, Romancing Dalton Beauregard, Make Up Sex, Pinch Hitter, and the previously unpublished Reunion.
The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project is a collection of lighthearted contemporary m/m romances containing a group of former frat boys navigating adult life, a wedding, and at least a couple of surprises. Or something.
“Some things hadn’t changed, though. I was still stupid in love with him.”
All of my weekend reads were dark and depressing & dealt with drugs or death. Reuniting with these lovable frat boys for a ten year Reunion was the perfect way to soothe the hurt & pave the way for a week where I will have to find a way to put my thoughts on those weekend reads into written words. ❤️🩹🌺
I had read most of the featured stories before as bonus chapters offered before, but having them compiled in one place was much appreciated. A delightful mix of spice and nice, I could not help re-reading a few parts that I particularly enjoyed; and won't go into detail, since I have included them in my previous reviews. 'They could look all they liked. I was the one who got to touch.' 🙂↕️ If you have read the entire series, then this short collection of stories is definitely worth a read to bring a sense of completion to the couples, as well as hint to a little something more. It sheds light on a few unresolved issues by tying up a few loose ends, and captures their dynamics in such a heartfelt way that you can't help but see how perfect they are together - even with their different personalities. 🤍🤍
But, my heart and sights were set on meeting up again with these hopeless losers ten years after their Alpha Tau days, converging for a mystery wedding and giving us a brief but delightful overview of what life has been since leaving Lassiter.
“All my anxieties weren’t anxieties anymore—they were opportunities...
And I was going to grab every one of those opportunities with both hands.”
And what a sight it was. A time of laughs and love, and happiness, and surprises! It was just pure joy and a delight to see each respective couple finding the perfect timing and ways to capture just how far they've come. 'This felt like a space made for us.' 😊💞 Plans and proposals, and weddings and words may change the course of their lives, but one thing that will never change is how much they care for each other. I love that the author gave us perspectives on some of the characters we did not get to have before - some sadly, did not make an appearance, but I'm hoping that will change... 🥺
I loved the adorkable-ness of each of their romances in the future. You can just feel how much love is over-pouring from them - Trey and Scout, Casey and Briar, Marty and Dalton, Eli and Archer, Tanner and Charlie - they just shine with love. 'Everything else might be up in the air, but we were rock solid, and that was what mattered.' 🥹 It's infectious their affection, and how committed they are about pulling off the perfect wedding. All the little tidbits revealed warmed my heart and just gave me this overall feeling of contentment. Scout, especially - he just gets me, y'know. The epilogue was so ridiculously endearing, heck, I don't blame Trey that he 'spent the entire time grinning like an idiot' - I could not stop smiling! 😀
But, OMG, the biggest surprise ever!! Reading my name!!!!! With the least expected person, EVER! Awww, let me have this! I know it's silly to get this excited about such a trivial thing, like your name being featured in a book; but when I saw it, my heart just cried happy tears!! 😭😭 I just lit up inside. 🥰 And it is being treated with so much love and care that I couldn't be happier - 'it was kind of beautiful to see.' 🥲💓
“I mean, when I arrived at college, I thought I was already an adult. But living at Alpha Tau, with all you guys ...well, we did it right, is all I’m saying.
Alpha Tau did it right. It taught me how to be the man I am today.”
I would love to go into details for each respective couple, but rather than spoil it, just the highlight is everyone converging for one grand wedding between two beautiful people who deserve it - each with their own part to play. The ease of camaraderie and passionate support that exists between each of them shines throughout, as well as the silliness of adoration that spills out for their bond of brotherhood. 🫂 'We’d thought we were so grown up back then. Now, it felt like we were just those same kids still...' Trust and respect, love and commitment - they're a family whether they like it or not. Adults, too, a fact that shocks them, too! 'We are the adultest adults.' They've matured, slightly calmed, but feel a lot more settled in their expectations and optimistic about their futures, but still finding the time to be still as quirky and playful as they once were. 🩵🥰
It's been an amazing privilege sharing in their lives, rounding it off with a very enjoyable and light-hearted conclusion that delivered all the heartwarming feels. I did not expect for this series to grow on me, but the Alpha Tau Bros snuck up on me, much like how their love was unexpected for them, too. With hilarity and ridiculousness of times, it's been a worthwhile experience that I'm so glad I took a chance on. 👍🏻😄 There have been laughs aplenty, there have been tears of frustration. But, it has been real, bro. And I'm holding the author to their words promised to us; thank you for the joy these stories have given me. 🫶🏻🌈
Bro Jobs: Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From bro jobs to accidental boyfriends... Trey and the very oblivious Scout were just too cute lol
Romancing Dalton Beauregard: Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Marty does his best to romance Dalton, but fails in spectacular Marty fashion & it was hilariously adorable
Make Up Sex: Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Short, spicy, not much else to say lol
Pinch Hitter: Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nash and Paul deserved a whole book damn it!
Reunion was everything I wanted it to be and more! My favourite couple in this series are Scout and Trey (Bro Jobs) and I loved getting to see everyone ten years later for the best wedding. Trey's epilogue had me laughing so hard!!!
I absolutely love Scout, the prickly little hedgehog that he thinks he is, and Trey, the absolute most adulting adult ever...supposedly 😂
I've read the shorts after each book previously, and Bro Jobs is by far my favourite - yes I'm totally biased because I swear Scout is my spirit animal! I cackled when it got to the dinner with Scout's parents and their assumptions about who Trey was to him 😂😂😂 Scout's realisation of his relationship was so, so funny and I just want to know more about them still! I want more of Scout's side eye and withering remarks, and his soft hearted kindness that he thinks no one ever notices because he's the king of being subtle and classy, and I want more of Trey being literally the most unflappable person ever, unless there's a dock involved... I really hope they'll be revisted in future when Scout is being the absolute perfect First Gentleman too.
Marty and Dalton's short is expectedly nutty, calamitous and OTT but I wouldn't have them any other way, and Casey embracing his femme side for Briar was ridiculously cute. I also loved Nash and Paul's story, Pinch Hitter. Nash was actually my favourite character in the Romeo and Juliet book and I was sooooo happy to see him get his own HEA! I'd love to see more of their story too, because he obviously wasn't part of the core group and so he wasn't in the reunion.
I'm going to miss these frat boys!
***** I received an ARC of this book from Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey, and this is my honest review
I was fortunate enough to get an early copy of this, and while it was fun to revisit the bonus shorts, what I was REALLY there for was *the wedding*. We get to see all our guys from the series in the future, living their lives as adults but still being *them*, and it is DELIGHTFUL. It just made me smile (or giggle or snort-laugh sometimes) all the way through it. Much like the rest of the series, there are outright ridiculous moments of hilarity, followed by absolutely swoon-worthy romantic moments that make you go AWWWW.
I would buy this book just for the new novella alone. It's SO good.
I love Henry and Honey's Alpha Tau series, and since I have read the other stories in this collection as free ones, the one I was looking forward the most was the brand-new unreleased "REUNION".
And yep, it felt so GOOD reuniting with these men again - as they all came down for one big society wedding of Scout Talbot-Smith and Treyvon Montgomery (it had been ten months since they got together, and fourteen months since the proposal!). Everybody was pretty much involved, although some more than the others. Like Briar who was the wedding planner, or Marty, Archer, and Casey as best men, as well as Charlie who walked down Scout's down the aisle with Bax Three. The rest became attendants.
I loved knowing what these men now at - lawyers, doctor, teacher, wedding planner - and I LOVED seeing Scout and Trey got married because they were like the "big brothers" in the house. I wish them all the best

Bro Jobs Alpha Tau prequel novella ✨️Scout and Trey✨️
Scout and Trey are sort of grumpy/sunshine. They're absolutely clueless/calm. They are 100% cute.
Scout and Trey are roommates. It's new, but things are going okay. Neither are dating because their schedules are full. So, sometimes things get overheard. At night.
Finally, one night, Scout can't take it anymore and offers to help a bro out. What follows is strictly bros being bros... right?
Trey is so chill. I can absolutely see how he becomes the president of the frat in the later books. I love how Trey just lets Scout take his time and figure himself out.
What starts as Bros with Benefits blooms into a weirdly perfect relationship. Like, y'all. These two just vibe.
The REUNION ✨️Alpha Tau, 10 years later✨️
Six chapters, we find out what everyone has been up to at the wedding of the year. ⚠️ spoilers ahead ⚠️
Archer & Eli are looking for a house. Ridiculously in love as ever. Eli is an art teacher, and Archer is a family lawyer. They live in Hopewell.
Marty and Dalton (and Squirell) are dads! They have 2 kids, and I'll leave that story for you to read. Marty is a lawyer, and Dalton is a doctor. They're both great dads.
Charlie & Tanner are back in the US, after Tanner played baseball in Japan. Watching Charlie be Charlie, seeing how these two still get each other was an absolute treat.
Casey & Briar are still going strong with a proposal that was very THEM. Casey is a lawyer, and Briar is an event planner. The banter is on point.
Trey and Scout. Sigh. They deserved their own big book because the more I got of Scout, the more he became my favorite. It's THEIR wedding everyone is orbiting around.
Highlights: ❤️ The Hawaiian shirts and purple cargos. ❤️ Scout pulling strings ❤️ Latvia ❤️ quoting Romeo and Juliet ❤️ the ice sculpture truth ❤️ Sheetz ❤️ "tall red head in Japan" ig famous ❤️ THE PIER
I loved this series. I loved how it snuck up on me. I love how each story made me love the Alpha Tau bros more. I bought every book! I was like, "I'm definitely gonna reread these." Because they're good & happy books. They're squishy, in the best ways.

Loved seeing all these guys again! I'd read the shorts before but will always take the chance to read 'em again, this was such a delightful series. I was so glad to get the chance to catch up with their future by reading about the wedding. I'm sorry to see the eggs of this series but can't wait to see what Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey may do in the future!
**I was given an ARC with the understanding that I would provide an unbiased review.**
This is just the best! I spent most of Reunion sniffling and wiping away happy tears. It is the perfect ending to these boy's (now men) stories, although I could read updates for the rest of ever and be happy about it.
Bro Jobs is Scout and Trey's beginning, I'd read this before, and it was absolutely worth reading it again, especially with Reunion ending this amazing set of stories.
Romancing Dalton Beauregard is about Marty's attempts to show Dalton exactly what Dalton means to him. As only Marty could manage everything goes wrong, but works out exactly right in the end. I adore Marty, so this is probably my favorite, full of everything great about him and Dalton.
Make Up Sex is the shortest story in the group and is largely Casey exploring his feminine side to the delight of Briar. Seeing Briar happy is always enjoyable.
Pinch Hitter, for some reason Nash didn't stick with me, but this story definitely did, and I really, really want more of Nash and Paul! I want more details and to see if they make it long-term. They are wonderful together and deserve more story.
Reunion is just wonderful in all the ways. I swear I couldn't stop tearing up seeing everyone ten years down the road. It just sank its hooks into me, and I spent the entire story smiling and sniffling in happiness. It perfectly captures all of their personalities and is an amazing gift to everyone who has loved this series.
(Um ... I think MBL was supposed to be MLB? LOL, a typo, I'm assuming.)
This is a fantastic collection of shorts that you can't miss if you have read the series. Nothing but happiness here.
If you're like me and rarely click on the link to the bonus material at the end of the book, you'll appreciate that Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey have collected and bundled all of the novellas and from the series into one place and added a beautiful final Reunion story!
I admit that this time I did read some of the bonus stories because Sarah Honey spoils me when she sends me ARCs and sends the bonus story, but getting to read the final Reunion story was wonderful! I love getting to see where life has taken all of the Alpha Tau guys and what happens when they get back together.... Author friends take note - this is the way to wrap up a series!
This book is not meant to be read standalone, but can be read in part after each story or all together at the end to relive the experience!
(4,5 stars rated up) As the summary states, this is a collection of previously published short stories in the Alpha Tau universe, with one exception. Before this collection, I had already had the chance to read Bro Jobs and Romancing Dalton Beauregard. I also had Make Up Sex and Pinch Hitter downloaded, but I wasn't really interested in reading Make Up Sex, and until yesterday, it didn’t make sense to read Pinch Hitter since I still hadn't finished reading The Amazing Alpha Tau Romeo and Juliet Project. Anyway, this was a chance to either reread or read for the first time all the short stories in one place, and below is my somewhat comprehensive review of each individual story.
Bro Jobs is a short story that takes place before the events of the first book in the series, The Amazing Alpha Tau Boyfriend Project. It tells the story of Scout Talbot-Smith and Trey Montgomery, who are roommates and older brothers at the Alpha Tau fraternity. The story is told from Scout's point of view.
Scout is not a people person, and initially, he's not thrilled about being Trey's roommate, but all the alternatives are much worse. Despite Scout's initial misgivings, the two get along fine until one night when Trey jerking off, in his own bed, across the room, prevents Scout from falling asleep. There is an awkward moment when Scout starts jerking off too and Trey notices. Things escalate when Scout proposes that the two of them help each other out, and then it just turns into something that they just keep on doing together. Scout sees it as just bros helping each other out, and Trey seems to go along with Scout's reasoning—until dinner with Scout's parents forces him to reevaluate their arrangement.
This was the perfect story about a guy who is deliberately in denial about being gay. It played right into the tropes of the straight guy turned gay, gay chicken, and, of course, bro jobs. However, it didn’t come off as offensive in the slightest. I really loved Scout, in all his high-strung, overthinking glory, and I loved the way Trey just instinctively knew how to handle him.
This was my third time reading this story, and I have no idea why I initially rated it only 4 stars, since this was—and still is—my favorite of all the Alpha Tau stories and as such deserves at least a 5 star rating. Scout and Trey are my perfect couple, and in a strange way, their romance has become one of my comfort reads.
Themes: single POV, roommates with benefits, in denial, bisexual awakening, fraternity, university
Romancing Dalton Beauregard is a Marty and Dalton short story, told from Marty's point of view, set after the events of The Amazing Alpha Tau Self-Improvement Project. As I wrote in my original review, it is a story of "Five times Marty tried to show Dalton how much he loved him with a romantic gesture, and five times things didn’t go exactly as planned, but Dalton was charmed anyway."
This was a funny and sweet story, and I loved Marty's reasoning for coming up with the whole plan.
Yeah. If a groundhog could have a day, why couldn’t Dalton?
Themes: single POV, opposites attract, established relationship, five times, fraternity, university
Make Up Sex takes place after The Amazing Alpha Tau Pledge Project and is a short story told from Briar's point of view about Casey and Briar’s weekend away at a fancy hotel, where Casey tries on new things like Briar’s clothes and makeup.
This was the shortest of the bonus stories, and considering that Casey and Briar, despite being lovely, were never my favorite characters, I was okay with that.
Themes: single POV, established relationship, weekend vacation, university
Pinch Hitter is the story of Nash, Tanner's best friend and teammate, set somewhere between the final chapter and the epilogue of The Amazing Alpha Tau Romeo and Juliet Project. I really liked Nash and thought he was one of the standout secondary characters in the The Amazing Alpha Tau Romeo and Juliet Project. When he admitted to Tanner that he’s not really into college guys and is looking for someone with more experience, I was really curious to see if there was a chance we would get to read his story. I really shouldn’t have doubted the authors, as in their author's note, they immediately provided a link to a Pinch Hitter bonus story.
First of all, I loved the title of the story, as I thought it was hilarious. During one of their away games, Nash makes plans to meet an older guy he’s been talking to on Grindr in DC. The guy makes a reservation at a fancy restaurant, but when Nash arrives and the guy turns out to be a no-show, Nash can't help but feel bad about being stood up. Luckily, the older guy Nash couldn’t help but drool over, seated at the table across from him, invites Nash to join him for dinner instead, and Nash ends up going to his place. Paul turns out to be everything Nash has ever dreamed of—a gentle daddy who wants to keep Nash all to himself.
Nash and Paul's first encounter was hot, but I just found Paul and their subsequent, immediate relationship a little too perfect. I think, out of all the bonus stories, this is the one that definitely would have benefited from being at least two, if not three, times longer.
Themes: single POV, college baseball player, one night stand, age difference, daddy kink, university
Reunion, as the summary mentions, is a previously unpublished story that takes place ten years after the Alpha Tau brothers graduated from Lassiter. All of them gather together for the wedding of one of the couples. The couple in question is kept a secret until the last few chapters, but in my mind, it made sense that it could only be one particular couple.
Each chapter is told from a different brother's point of view, and it was a real pleasure to join them once again and witness both the small and big moments in their lives ten years in the future. As already mentioned, we see one couple get married, another already married with children, one couple get engaged, another couple buy a house, and yet another couple moving back after living abroad. I simply adored the opportunity to catch up with all the couples and see them naturally still together and generally doing well in life.
Themes: multiple POV, established relationship, wedding, engagement
What to Expect: College Romance ✔️ Sweet & Sassy Frat boys ✔️ Some mild Spice ✔️
I'll TRY to keep this SHORT and so fxckn' SWEET... just like these amazing novellas. This book contains 5 bonus short stories and you KNOW we're here to review EACHONE, BABY! Let's get these DOLPHINS🐬 started.
1. Bro Jobs - novella on SCOUT & Trey Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 This novella show you the BEGINNING of their friendship that quickly but so NATURALLY turned into a full blown RELATIONSHIP. It was seamlessly because of their CHEMISTRY. I love these two together. I love my SWEET BABY ANGEL Scout & how he only shows Trey the REAL him. & I love how Trey is 100% his person yet, he STILL gives him shit. These two? COMPLETE fxckn JOY.
Trey raised his eyebrows. "What's that smile for?" "Shut up," I said. "I don't smile." But I did. For him.
2. Romancing Dalton Beauregard - novella on my FAVORITE frat boy ever & his SEXY man Marty & Dalton Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 This novella is set AFTER Marty's book. It's NO surprise how much I fxckn LOVE and ADORE Marty with my entire being. But Romantic Marty? Well that side of him may just be my FAVORITE. I love how he wears hisBEAUTIFUL heart on his sleeve. & my baby DALTON?! stawwwpp. THIS MAN! Pure ✨PERFECTION✨ and Marty's soulmate in every WAY. Because he stands up for him, he believes in him but MOST importantly- he believes in the BOTH of them. and that's just fxckn beautiful to see.
Being us, because we were already perfect for each other. And we had the donuts and dolphins to prove it.
3. Make up Sex - short story on Casey & Briar best read AFTER Casey's book. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 a 3 is NOT a bad rating. let me repeat it is NOT. I think because the story was so SHORT, I just couldn't really connect to them here. Is this to say it was BAD? ABSOLUTELY NOT! It's just saying I was blah about it like I was ok if I didn't read this... so let's move on. I STILL LOVE YOU BOYS THOUGH!!!!
4.Pinch Hitter: novella on NASH (Tanner's friend). Best read AFTER Charlie & Tanner's book. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Nash you dirty, dirty BOY! During an away game, my boy, gets into some GRINDR fun with a filthy DADDY and I swear the spiceee in this one? gahhh it had me BLUSHING. It was a FUN novella & just what Nash and I NEEDED.🥵
"Jesus, Nash. Could you be any more perfect for me?" And then he buried his face in my ass. It was fucking transcendent.
5. THE REUNION Rating: ♾️ infinity/5 set 10 YEARS after graduating Lassiter. 🥹. this book? I cannot EXPLAIN how amazing it was to see them grow. How much CHEMISTRY they still had. How everything CHANGED yet the love between brother became STRONGER with new additions. Without giving ANYTHING away.. I'll leave you with a quote JUST so I can convince you to read these bonus stories.
"There was a ring, and a proposal on a damn pier on bended knee, and it was romantic as SHIT, thank you very much."
wait.. one more one more! " but look at us, with our cars & our house & our 401ks. the fuck did that happen? we are the adultest adults.
I LOVED this series and I LOVED these Alpha Tau boys that I will FOREVER carry in my heart and soul. The amount of joy and HAPPINESS they brought me? UNEXPLAINABLE. This series WILL be in the TIPPY TOP of my favorites of 2024.
Thank you so so MUCH to Sarah Honey & Lisa Henry for this early ARC. & as always, all thoughts & opinions are honest & my own
I loved this cute and quirky short story about Trey and Scout. Even when Scout was freaking out he knew what he wanted, or rather, who he wanted. I thought this was such a fun little story to read, I just wish it was longer!
Romancing Dalton Beauregard; Rating: 4.5/5.
In this story we got to see Marty try to romance Dalton, and things didn't exactly go to plan... I thought this story was full of humor and it was so adorable. I loved watching Marty try to plan out his romantic plans for Dalton, and I felt sympathy for him when they didn't go as intended. The scene where he books the French film left me giggling, I was not expecting that to happen, and oh my gosh was it hilarious! "It turned out that romancing Dalton Beauregard didn’t have to be some grand gesture with a boombox or a candygram. And it didn’t have to be out of a Hallmark movie like a picnic or a romantic candlelit dinner. It just had to be me and him being us. Being together, and being in love."
Make Up Sex; Rating: 4/5
Casey and Briar's story is so sweet and full of heat. I love the openness that these two men have with each other, they are both extremely supportive of each other and that shows in volumes in this short story. I enjoyed being able to revisit these characters, and seeing Casey realize his inner, (and outer) beauty.
Pitch Hitter; Rating: 4/5
I think this has been the steamiest one so far out of the other short stories. Nash was supposed to be meeting a guy he met on Grindr, but said guy stood him up. But as luck has it an older gentlemen asks him to join him for dinner, and that man is everything he has ever wanted.
Nash and Paul's story was full of steam, acceptance, and southern charm. I don't read a lot of Daddy/Boy books, it isn't my cup of tea, but this one wasn't bad! It wasn't the main focus of the story, which I personally enjoyed, but it was still prominent as that was what Nash was looking for. Overall another great story!
Reunion; Rating: 5/5
I LOVED THIS!! I have absolutely adored every single book that has been apart of the Alpha Tau series, and this short story encompassed the whole series so beautifully. We got to see how each and every characters lives are now, what they are up to, and we were able to see these characters reconnecting with each other after a long time apart. I really liked the multiple perspectives we got within this short, it was incredible to get one more glimpse of each character. This was really well written, and while it is a short story, you don't feel as though it is with how much is packed into it.
All in all, this collection was fabulous, magnificent, and very enjoyable to read. I'm sad to see this series end, but this was such a unique and fun way to wrap up this series.
I'm so sad I have to say goodbye to these guys now! But I absolutely loved reading through these collected bonus stories and the new reunion short story. The first 4 bonus stories found in this collection are available for free through links at the end of the main books, but it was nice having them all compiled into this one collection. And to cap it off, we're treated to a brand new short story that's set 10 years after the main series. I loved catching up with everyone and seeing where life had taken them. I got a little misty-eyed a few times while reading that. Especially when everyone was together at the wedding, and it was like a little full-circle moment from the opening scene of the series. It was just perfect.
Outside of the reunion story, my favorite was probably Marty and Dalton's bonus story. I alternated between laughing and saying "oh no" through much of it. It was so funny! Marty really did try his best to romance Dalton, but things never quite went to plan. The ending, though? OMG, so sweet. I love those two!
I also loved Bro Jobs to see how Scout and Trey got together. That was super sweet. Casey and Briar's story was sexy and sweet, and I enjoyed seeing Nash find the Daddy of his dreams in Pinch Hitter!
I'd already read the first four stories in this collection when they were released to accompany the previous books in this series. They are all excellent supplemental stories in their own right, but I'll note that "Bro Job" is the only one necessary to read to fully enjoy the entire context of the newest work in this collection. One of the biggest reasons that I don't read much college romance is because I find it so hard to believe that people find their forever partners at that age, but Henry and Honey not only make it feel effortless in the main novels themselves but also reinforce how well the pairings they've created work even as the characters continue to grow and develop years later. This reunion brings the series full circle to another wedding, but a bit of fun misdirection keeps us from knowing who the lucky couple is...until it's entirely obvious. Where all of these guys end up in the future while still maintaining such solid friendships is the true happily ever after of this series, and one I appreciate even though I'm sorry to see them go.
Disclaimer: I received a digital review copy of this book from the authors.
This book is actually a collection of short stories—some I had already read as they had been bonus stories with specific couples after the ending of their book but then others were completely new; I’m guessing to wrap up any little loose ends and give the other secondary characters HEAs of their own.
I seriously can’t believe we won’t be hearing from the Alpha Taus any more though!! I loved this little series, or whatever you’d call it. They were hilariously funny and ridiculous but still, somehow, real and I’m gonna miss ‘em!
With Reunion, we got to see that even the partying’est frat bros on frat row did indeed become mature, productive adults, and it was written in a way that it really DID feel like a “blast from the past”. I’m really hoping this wasn’t the complete end though and that we get to hear SOMETHING from them in the future. Maybe more weddings or reminiscing, kids…just SOMETHING! 5+ STARS!!
I received a copy of this book for free but am voluntarily leaving a review.
The entire Amazing Alpha Tau Project series was stellar, and this final book provided the perfect ending! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. From the idiots to lovers humor of Trey and Scout's couple origins, to the hilarity of Romancing Dalton Beauregard (I laughed so hard I cried at the movie date night), to the eye-opening Make Up Sex, to the very sexy Pinch Hitter ... this was a fabulous collection of bonus stories. But the icing on the cake was definitely Reunion. I hesitated about purchasing this book since the first 4 stories were available for free, but let me tell you ... Reunion was worth it. I was proud of myself for channeling Marty and guessing the right couple before beginning the story, but I never in a million years predicted that over-the-top epilogue. If you enjoyed even a smidge of the Amazing Alpha Tau Project series, don't miss this astonishingly perfect finale!
-Bro Jobs: Love this one because it’s backstory on two side characters from book 1, Scout and Trey, not just a continuation of another story. Scout is a little bitch and I love him for it, while Trey is so chill. -Romancing Dalton Beauregard: This is a Marty/Dalton (book 2) short story, which is funny and chaotic, as to be expected anytime Marty appears. -Make Up Sex: This is mostly just an extra sex scene, but if you like Casey and Briar (book 3), you’ll enjoy it. -Pinch Hitter: Story about a side character from book 4 of the series, Nash. I did not vibe with this one because there's a big age gap, which I do not like. -Reunion: This one was fun, with all the couples from books 1-4, plus Scout and Trey, all in full chaos mode (just slightly more mature). A good story to round out the series. I did feel a bit cheated that we didn’t actually get to see the bachelor party, though!
“The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project” by Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey, is a perfect end to a fantastic series. The Guys at Alpha Tau have brought many hours of laughter, tears and a heap load of “Awwws.” This book is a compilation of several short stories of characters after their book and a final reunion story that lets us readers catch up with everyone 10 years after the final book. Each of these stories were special in their own way and some had me laughing so hard I woke up the rest of my household… oops? The last story though. It is everything. If you are a fan of the series I highly recommend reading this book as it will not work as a stand-alone
I received a copy of this book and this is my hones opinion.
This was a fantastic way to end an enjoyable series. I love the way the book was set up with short stories about what each couple are up to give a subtle refresher (not that I can ever forget Marty!) and then leads into the main story. Clever clever clever! I’m not getting into the specifics since I want to save all details as fun little surprises.
My only gripe (and this is teeny tiny because I always want more from these authors) is that I wish that Nash and Paul had a longer story. I felt like we had just a taste, an appetizer, and I want more!
This book is all light hearted fun. I smiled all the way through it! These boys will hold a piece of my heart-Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey created something special with this series. And I’m so very excited for the spin off series! Soooo if you need a fun set of books about adorable dude bros pick this series up and be ready to have a blast.
This is great for those passionate about the Alpha Tau universe.
This collection includes stories set before the grand Alpha Tau influence was revealed to us, some set between the major books, and others after all have been consumed by us, loyal fans of this special college universe.
These stories are like a comforting, warm read—featuring new adventures, concluded ones, and all as cozy as hot chocolate.
I hope the two authors can inspire a new generation to connect with those linked to Alpha Tau. I love that some characters have appeared in other books (Spoiler Alert: Danny Hall Gets a Lawyer has that connection!). These deep connections are what I truly enjoy about Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey's experiences with Alpha Tau and their collaborations on other works.
This book includes some previously released bonus Alpha Tau novellas, and one set ten years in the future. Each story is a delight, but my favourite is the last one about Scout and Tanner’s wedding, which also brought us up to date with each of the couples. It was great to see how they had all fared since their time in the Alpha Tau house, and the wedding served as a perfect opportunity for them to reunite. I loved all these short stories, but my favourite was the last, The Reunion, and the epilogue for that story was a hoot. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are familiar with the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This book is so good! We get to revisit the couples from the Amazing Alpha Tau series, including learning how Trey and Scout got together. We spend time with the other couples in fun short stories set soon after their HEA's, and then we get the friends' reunion as they prepare for a wedding ten years in the future. The entire book is full of laughter and heart, and there are some very nice surprises. I love the lives these men have found, and it makes me happy to see them still thriving as couples and as friends. What a wonderful way to wrap up a fabulous series that I recommend and definitely plan to read again.
It was lovely, heartwarming and funny to meet the boys from Alpha Tau again, learn a bit more about their past and the journey they go on after their books. I especially loved the story of Trey and Scout and Casey and Briar because the first revealed more of their characters and the latter showcases their real love even if it’s a little difficult at times. Loved the reveal of the ice statue incident from the first book, perfect pick of the culprit 👍 I highly recommend reading this if you enjoyed the initial series. Reading about them as adults in the final story really tied everything up beautifully and left me with a satisfied feeling.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project is a warm, nostalgic celebration of everything that makes the Alpha Tau universe so lovable. Seeing these former frat bros navigate adulthood, relationships, and big life moments feels rewarding and emotionally rich. Each short story offers a satisfying glimpse into where they ended up, balancing humor with genuine growth and affection. The collection works beautifully as both a reunion and a send-off, reinforcing the found-family bonds that define the series. It is cozy, funny, and full of heart, making it a perfect companion for longtime fans.
The Amazing Alpha Tau Reunion Project wraps up this lovely series with a perfect bow! This has been one of my favorite series, and it's just all the feel-goods!
This collection of short stories and extras brings us up to date with all of our favorite guys and concludes with an amazing novella. Honestly, just the novella alone is worth picking this up for but everything else is cherries on top.
I am sad to see this series end, but the Alpha Tau guys will always hold a special place in my heart!
Final book in this series...😭 I'll miss the guys so much. Written with so much humour and light heartedness, it was great to read about Scout and Trey, and how they got together, their last chapter was comedy gold 😂 In fact, I smiled throughout the whole book. Although 'grown up', the guys really hadn't changed a great deal. The biggest surprise was Marty, love all the guys, but he's definitely my favourite. I sighed happily and swooned at how things worked out for him and Dalton 😍 I'd love more shorts about how these guys are getting along (not so subtle a hint here) 🤣
This book is amazing! All the epilogues from the previous books are so fun, from other couples to a snippet from the future of the couple in the book. And then we come to Reunion and that was absolutely the best story to show where everyone is in the future. I cannot properly express how happy this story made me. You’d definitely need to read the other books before reading this book, but they’re all so good it’d be a shame for you to miss them.
TLDR: My recommendation to you is this book is amazing and you should read it (after the other books)!
