Having visited Disney World for almost a dozen times I love this book! I've been fortunate enough to have dined in many of the restaurants. Some of the dishes I've had that are in this book are: The Hollywood Brown Derby Cobb Salad, Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort (my absolute favorite - order it with French Press Coffee), Boatwright's Crab Soup at Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Artist Point Berry Cobbler, and served at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (by far, the BEST resort in Disney World - I've stayed there twice!) This book also has recipes from Disneyland as well as the Disney Cruise Line (which I went on with Chris when he was about 7). I made the Key Lime Pie last night!
A gift from my recent birthday trip to Disneyland! Food in the parks and resort restaurants has certainly grown up over the years. (If you know where to look!). Can't wait to make my old favorite- the Monte Cristo sandwiches from Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square. Yum!
Another collection of decidedly non-healthy dishes . . . but they also look amazing, in spite of their lack of health consciousness. The Disney chefs are true artists!
we got this book expecting cute and kitschy but were very pleasantly surprised to find delicious five star recipes. We have throughly enjoyed cooking and experiementing with this book.
