This full-color cookbook is an exciting collection of the best recipes ever developed by the experts at Weight Watchers—225 tempting dishes never before presented in book form. If you’re a fan of the Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook but are looking even more recipe choices, this new Weight Watchers collection will be an irresistible new kitchen companion. It’s packed with recipes that you’ll love, whether you’re cooking for a weeknight family supper, a casual backyard get-together with neighbors, or a festive gathering with friends.
Though I do not follow the Weight Watchers program, this book looked like it had a lot of healthy and tasty recipes so I decided to buy it anyways. I like how the sections are divided up, that it has a good amount of seafood included, that the nutrition facts and serving sizes are listed, that it includes a pretty good amount of full page color photos of certain recipes, and the "food notes" at the bottom of each recipe which are really helpful or informative at the least- and I enjoy any extra tips! I do wish cookbooks that include nutrition facts would also include the sugar content but I haven't seen any that do. Though I do appreciate that the sodium contents of most of these recipes is very low. I also wish this book had more pictures because I loooove that in a cookbook but am happy it at least has a good bit of them. I also love the sheer number of recipes included in this book and plan to use many of them time and again in the future.
I bought this cook book at 1/2 Priced Books because I was looking for more meals that were low in carbs. This book is ok, but has things I am already making but with different spices so that could be interesting to try.
I am learning that your everyday meat foods are ok to eat however the cook needs to watch what they mix with it or what other non meat foods they add to the meal to keep the diet under control.
The book is very nice in the fact that the pages are clear and it does show the nutritional factors on each recipe. At the beginning of each chapter there is a full page photo so the book is not too boring to look at.
Good photos, and a lot of tasty sounding recipes I’m excited to try! Outdated for the current WW system but I don’t use it so that’s fine. Calorie count available anyway.
As someone who enjoys cooking and good food (too much I know) this cook book is mediocre. It is healthier, yes but there are healthier recipes out there in a regular cookbook if you just use nonfat or low fat items. So I say this is merely a so-so book.
This is a cookbook I'm glad I did not buy but just borrowed from the library. I actually copied down only 6 or 7 recipes from this book to try. Hopefully they will turn out to be repeaters. (no pun intended)
