This is when I kinda wish that Gifs were allowed on here as a reaction because MIC DROP! No spoilers...but like...my ABSOLUTE favorite section of the series has just begun. THIS IS THE BEST!
A lot of important points for the beginning of the end of the series were covered here, but i don’t think it was done well. I was bored most of book which is probably why it took me longer than the last couple

As far as young readers go I have seen my son buy and read every book of this series as they came out, He liked them and I am just reading them all now. This is a good read, but I do often wonder if the heroes of the story will ever actually stop the villian from accomplishing his goals ever? My son says just keep reading, and so I shall.
I guess this was a good book. Sparr collects all of his creations to go to the isle of mists to summon Ko. Ko is the most powerful bad guy ever. And in the process Sparr gets turned into a very young version of himself...
The was the first book I not only read but also entered. I seeped deep into the fibers of the pages. This is one of the books that made me a reader. Well, not just a reader, but more importantly, a weirdo.
Decided to re-read all 44 books for nostalgia's sake but decided not to count them all for the reading challenge. Halfway through the series so added one more :P
This one was really something with a surprise ending. The friends try to stop Lord Sparr from awakening the evil Ko from his hundreds of years of sleep.
WOW. This book did not go the way I was expecting at all! Love when a book surprises me and this one definitely did. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what happens next.
Another quick trip into the magical land of Droon. When we last left off, Sparr had finally regained all three of his Powers: the Red Eye of Dawn, the Coiled Viper, and the wasp thingy. The kids had returned to Earth quite agitated. As this book begins, they still are agitated...so disturbed that their magic powers are manifesting unconsciously. Eric and Julie are hiding out - playing hooky - the last few minutes of school, so that they won't give themselves away by shooting magic bolts or flying inadvertently. Neal finds them and points out that Salamandra is flying (if you can call the crazy, almost undirected careening flying) the Dragon Boat toward them. They race up to the roof of the school, Julie flying the three of them up to confront the thorn witch. She predicts a terrible danger to Droon and coyly suggests that they should all stay away, because it would be too dangerous!
So the kids race back to Eric's house and re-enter Droon as soon as they can.
This book moved pretty fast, and the development with Sparr is a satisfying drop of the other shoe after the earlier book in which we saw Sparr being corrupted - turned to dark magic - as a child. There's still no really lasting resolution to the problems, but having the bigger baddie as the villain make me hopeful that there will be some interesting developments in the next few books. I've become convinced that the way to read these books is fast - not to deliberate on them, or attempt to read them aloud. They're quick, easy children's books, meant for quick consumption. I read it over my lunch break. By the time I finish the series (at the rate I'm going), my daughter will probably be finishing them alongside me.
I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great after all these years. A fast paced adventure with magic and twists, especially the one at the end. A new terrible villain is awakened to try to bring back the empire of Goll. Additionally a few characters were developed with more depth. It was a good book that leads to interesting developments in the next books.
The gang is back to save droon form the evil Sparr. The gang has been aware of Lord Sparr's plan on droon. He is planning to get all three of his powerful powers to rulke droon. Now Eric and his friends travel back to droon to defeat them. Even though they defeated him last time he wont be easy as before.
I liked this book because of how cool it is and Eric, Julie, and Neal find a secret world under Eric's house. And they have a best friend, Keeah, and she lives in Jaffa City.
its when sparr has all three powers and needs to go somewhere so eric and his friends follow him but the place sparr is going to is where his dad ko disappeared.
