Boy - what a week to listen to this book when the subject matter is domestic terrorism and a lunatic right wing militia backed by a high ranking government official is out to bring down the progressive President of the United States. It felt eerie, I won't lie. Especially since this was written back in 2013. And while I really liked this installment as I did all of them, the story took a significant turn away from most of the established characters from previous books.
Undercover agent Loren McElroy and her handler Skylar Dunbar were likable and complete badasses, and what they were involved in was directly tied to the original story line, but I certainly felt the absence of the others. While Abby Craden's narration continues to be fabulous, she does mispronounce McElroy's last name. A minor thing, really, but I was aware of it. It's just amazing how many voices she has in her. And as with all the others in this series, this book was well written and very sexy. These are definitely not ones to miss. I'm kind of dreading listening to book 9 knowing it's Abby's last. I just love these.

Love the series, have grown to love the reoccurring characters, and usually can count on the sizzle in every book Radcliffe writes. It is a new experience for me to like the plot more than the love arcs. The lesbian myth that the second date includes a moving truck, is just that, a myth. I usually suspend disbelief in all my romance novels when it comes to the speed with which our protagonists fall in love, and tend to overlook the idiotic way the authors mix love with lust, but it was too much to believe that this tough biker chick, a soldier and an FBI agent, after 2 days in the company of a hot redhead looses control and declares herself madly, passionately, irrevocably in love for ever! I did not buy it. It was rushed, forced, and I think of all the books I have read by this author, the biggest miss.
The rest of it was pretty good. Blaire and Cam are still growing in their relationship, I love what is happening with the prez and Lucinda, and am fascinated with the sisters evil... Let us hope next one is better!

I've always loved the honor series and reading the end of the book, looks like there's going to be a next installment! Can't be more thrilled about it.
I've liked the arrangement of this novel - it wasn't drowning with Blair being in danger and Cam trying to put her under a shell. There's been more maturity in this one, and reality as well, on how Blair and Cam lives together happily married and how danger, when it happens can just happens on anybody. The story line of the bikers group, Loren and Sky woven in neatly and it's very well balanced, so you don't feel you are reading the same characters and same story lines over and over again. Must admit that I'm now a bit tempted to take couple days off and re-read the entire series again.
My only complaint though is having too little of Valerie. I just loved her as a character since the first book. She's such an enigma, and I would really love to see more of her.

This is an action-packed adventure with great new characters. It did take me a little while to become familiar with all the threads, but in the end it was rewarding. Make sure to plan to continue with book 9 right away. There is no cliff-hanger, but there are some very large unresolved plot threads.

This felt more like a follow-up to Oath of Honor than as a follow-up to the main series, and I struggled with that for the first half of the book. I was surprised to barely see Paula, Diane and Valerie and to never see Renee, Felicia or Mac. The book was also as much Loren and Sky's as it was Blair and Cam's, unlike the other books in the series where new romantic pairings are secondary. So while Oath of Honor is billed as a stand-alone, it's required reading for Code of Honor so that you at least know who a bunch of the characters are and why we're not reading about the team like in the rest of the series.
None of that is intended to be a knock--it's still a great book. It's fun to read to about the motorcycle club, and because it's a Radclyffe book, there's a beautifully written, sexy romance. There's also a lot being set up that I'm looking forward to seeing resolved in future books. I just recommend making sure you read Oath of Honor first.

I have just completed the entire Honor Series collection. I started with the ninth volume, which unquestionably whetted my appetite and I may just choose to revisit it since book eight provided some tantalizing foundation information. To date, this is unquestionably the most impressive, involving, and inimitable potpourri of stories I have read. With both extraordinary characters and phenomenally intricate plot assemblages, the journey from beginning to my current ending is simply incomparable. I do recommend, if possible, that you read the entire group in order, however, I am confident having read everything so far, each story is a treasure in and of itself. Phantasmagorical!
Indisputably and once again, Cameron Roberts and Blair Powell are simply a nonpareil couple. Cameron currently leads a special task force under the rubric of Homeland Security. She is a paragon within her work scenario and possibly a pinnacle as Blair's lover. Being human, she has flaws and she has enemies, but from my perspective she is the finest and most complete woman I have ever known. I love her unconditionally, which is a tad easier to actually do since she is such an artfully embellished fictional character. On the other hand, Blair is a total delight being unpredictable and at times passionately explosive. Nevertheless, she is an accomplished and successful artist with kaleidoscopic talents plus emotions supported by her highly volatile feelings and beliefs. Blair is also the daughter and only child of the president of the United States. Oh, by the way, both these women are stunningly beautiful as well as consummate professionals. I need to hope there will be many additional books in this series so I will not tumble into an indefinite period of mourning. Respectfully requesting!
Skylar Dunbar, generally called Sky, has taken an undercover name of Lisa Smith. Loren McElroy is the highly complementary other member of the second couple in this book. Sky and Loren are affiliated with the FBI. So a bit of inter-agency folderol gets into the mix in book eight since Cam is with the Secret Services. Also, Sky is Loren's handler. They generally communicate via phone on a regular basis, although not regular enough from Sky's viewpoint. However, something large and urgent comes up on the scene requiring Sky to go undercover within Loren's territory. Sky presents herself within Loren's world as a super-sexy gal who noticeably and actually prefers lady partners. She is also, apparently, an accountant sent by Jerome, international president of the Renegades...the name of Loren's biker crew. So Sky cuddles up to Loren early on before she completely convinces Loren that she actually is her handler on an undercover assignment. The group Loren is attached to is a biker pack also called the Bitterroot Renegades in the woodland wilds of Idaho where she has worked her way in as a proficient grease monkey plus a very accomplished procurer of goods under the radar that the gang can sell for a handsome profit. After two and half years, Loren now appears to be fourth in command and considered a voting member. The eventual major confrontation involving Loren's clan is truly a nail-bitingly exciting tug-of-war par excellence. Wow!
This is a spectacular and marvelously constructed thriller involving long-term characters from the series and wild and wooly right-wing paramilitary groups. I could not put it down. Ergo, I totally recommend this for the action, the sexual heat, and the mind-boggling peek into the world of radicalized Americans, plus the staggeringly grand conclusion. Electrifyingly exhilarating!

Ano0ther excellent chapter for the Honor series.
It has everything from action, romance, love, friendship.
Radclyffe has a real talent of keeping you interested and focused. She also drags in other characters from previous books. That way you start to care about them.

Adore the Cam and Blair moments as always, but there was just so little of Diane and Valerie. The new characters were okay but they are not as compelling compared to the beloved existing cast. Please have more of Diane and Valerie in the next book. Even Tanner had her own book...

FBI SA Loren McElroy is deep undercover in a militia group and Skylar Dunbar is her handler. Skylar decides to go undercover to check on her agent and to help out with as much as she can. The two make a good team and can’t help but fall in love.
While this is happening DHS Deputy Director Cameron Roberts is trying to track down the responsible party’s of attacks on her wife Blair Powell and her father-in-law, President Andrew Powell.
It always amazes me how Rad is able to weave these powerful stories together. You have the new blossoming romance interweaved into the existing stories of the series.

The Honor series is awesome! The main characters keep me interested and the new characters keep me engaged. The page time of Cameron and Blair is soooo good as they continue to work through the challenges of being together. The introduction of two intriguing characters was "sweet and captivating" and in my opinion that is a good thing. There is so much to like about each one. Loren McElroy is distant yet maybe interested. Skylar Dunbar is tough yet maybe interested. I hope to read more about these two as the series continues.

Una vez que el romance entre Blair y Cam se presume totalmente resuelto con la boda entre ellas, en esta entrega la historia se centra entre dos de las mujeres más unidas a la seguridad del presidente de los EEUU que en ellas y el resto de personajes que las acompañan en el resto de los libros, siendo la presencia de estos, incluso de las protagonstas anteriores algo testimonial.
Esto no le ha restado maestría al nuevo romance y como va generando la tensión sexual entre las nuevas protagonista, la jefa de médicos del presidente y la jefa de seguridad del mismo.
Te mantiene enganchada con las ganas de ellas dos de conocerse y su sentido del deber que les impone una severa censura a su relación.
Entretenida, con un ataque de seguridad nacional de fondo que apenas tiene una pequeña influencia en el desarrollo general de este libro de la saga, que se centra más en el romance de los nuevos personajes casi en exclusividad.

I really enjoyed this book in the series! It took a wider look at the enemies faced by Blair and her father while bring to attention that it’s not always them in danger but people close to them.
The side story happening between Sky and Loren added an excellent support to the main characters mission while simultaneously bringing its own heat and action.
Reading a series that allows me to love the stories arc more then the love story is new and refreshing!
That’s what’s truly captivated me throughout the series!
There are so many powerful, intelligent and sexy women in this series that new additions always adds to the excitement and allow for the opportunity of other novels to splinter of from this series.

A deep conspiracy to overthrow the government keeps the agent and her detail busy protecting the woman she loves and the President from assassins. The main characters are rich, as are all the secondary characters. There are nine books, this is the eighth, and they are all filled with romance and action.
It’s a great series? Start from the beginning. All nine books are on Audible, the narrator, Abby Craden, is the best I’ve heard, she really brings the story alive. I got them using the Audible Romance subscription.

For some reason, currently the list of books in the Honor series on the Good Reads site, shows 9 books, however, there is currently ONE MORE... the Oath of Honor (First Responders #3) which is VERY much part of the HONOR series, and fits JUST BEFORE Code of Honor. So Oath of Honor is 7B in the Honor series by what Goodreads currently shows on this series page (9bks) IMO, you will really be missing some pieces of the story line, new characters, if you miss this, or read out of order. Great series, very enjoyable.

This one was a little all over the place. They tried to pack so much in one book and gave Valerie the smallest of roles. Also what the hell happened to Felicia and Renee? Also Stark has become nothing more than the convient sentence and to get Blair where she needs to be. Also it just seems like you (the author) tried really hard to make everything connect and get everyone involved and it seemed way too convoluted.

Exciting. I really enjoyed this book. Even with the diversion of the relationship between Sky and Loren, it was fast paced and exciting. With all the things that happened to Blair in the last book I was wondering whether it was going to turn around on Cam, and I was not disappointed. I actually enjoyed the relationship between Loren and Sky, with the hard core biker bit thrown for color. Very entertaining. Moving on the finale, and I am hoping that I enjoy it as much as this one.

Okay, now this is what I'm talking about - new dangers that although it affects Cam and by extension Blair, this is a more believable storyline with new and interesting characters. It's scary to read how the militia can and has groomed so many in todays political stance.
Like the new players and happy that Sky and Loren are finally together. I wonder when they will finally get to the bottom of all the leaks, not to mention the President and Luce finally also finding happiness.

Wowwwwwww First all, spectacular! I didn’t read Oath of Honor because I didn’t know it was apart of this series. I’ll probably read it so that the parts of Code of Honor that reference it makes sense.
Despite that, really good work! Especially, Loren and Sky’s view. I’ve never found bikers so attractive until now.

Less focus on Cam and Blair.

Action packed and also romantic!
In this amazing story, we get more of Cam and Blair. We are introduced to undercover federal agents who have infiltrated a motor cycle gang. And we learn more about the militia which has been targeting Blair.

Another great installment of the Honor series. If you don’t listen to these books on audio with Abby Craden, do yourself a favor and try it! These series is nostalgic at this point and I never want it to end!

Great addition to the series. Best one since the second in the series. Lots of action and new FBI characters who sizzle. Love Cameron. She rocks.
