Readers who devoured "Boyfriend From Hell" and "Earth Angel" will be captivated by the third book in the Falling Angels Saga.
As summer break for Glendale Union high begins, heartsick Megan awaits Guy's return while struggling to control her emerging abilities. Love is in the air, but can the new loves in Megan, Maudrina, Suze, and Aunt Jaz's lives be trusted? Nothing is what it seems. Meanwhile, the Satanists are set to hatch their most diabolical scheme ever, and if it comes to pass, Satan may finally win out.
Megan has precious little time to unravel the cryptic message hidden in the riddle she received at the end of "Earth Angel." If she doesn't, the life of someone most dear to her will be lost forever, and Megan may yet find herself living in HELL.

Now I am in for another long wait for the next book. Such an amazing series. So many twists and turns you never know where you will end up. You know a book is good when you are regreting spending so much time with family when you could have been reading. Ok just kidding a little bit. If you have not started this series I can honestly tell you that you are missing a great series. There are angels and Satan, demons, and friends. And at times I can actually say I can see Megan as the Satan bride.
Love Amanda (the Hell cat),Erin, and Maudrina. I hope they get a little happiness.
Megan starts her summer with a new job and a broken heart. She is unsure what has happened to Guy and if he will be able to come back to her or not. Her mom Suze is dating a new guy and while Megan thinks he is kind of nerdy, he seems to make her mom happy. She is a little jealous that mom seems to have no time for her and is even going to be going out of town on her birthday.
Guardian Angel Harrison has to leave but before he does, he leaves Megan a present. A cute kitten named Amanda. Amanda may not be what she seems, especially when Megan finds the note that comes with her.
We get to read a lot more about Maudrina and her eccentric and lovable Aunt Jaz, who happens to know too much about the occult. Erin has dropped out of school all together and is planning on doing something shocking on Megan's birthday. Will Megan be able to stop her? Will Satan finally get what he has been after all this time, Megan?
This book is so good. I read it in two days. I had to see what was going to happen. I thought this was the last book in the series but I am excited to say that there will be ONE MORE released soon. I am awaiting anxiously to find out what happens. Poor Megan, the girl needs some happiness and I can't wait to see how the series ends.
Here is the last section of my review from of Book 2, Earth Angel:
Megan's former friend, Erin, transfers to another school and refuses to talk to Megan at all; angry because she blames Megan for Matt's death. She also befriends some ruffians from her new school. This particular plot line isn't explored in Book 2 but I hope it is in Book 3.
Guy, now that his wings are clipped and he's grounded to earth, spends as much time with Megan as possible. Since Suze isn't fond of him, it's mainly at school. Megan never reveals that she is in possession of The Book Of Calls to Guy but he eventually finds out...after it's too late. The demon obsessed with finding The Book Of Calls has tricks up his sleeve, requiring Megan to save the boy she loves.
"Heaven Sent" is Book 3 in the Falling Angels saga by E. Van Lowe. These have been the most entertaining, easily read novels. I've enjoyed each and every one so far.
We find Megan attempting to pick up the pieces of her shatter romance and life - Really!....She is. Or maybe not so much. Even though her boyfriend, Guy, is a grounded angel, at the end of Book 2, he leaves her and ascends back up to heaven with the beautiful but extremely broken angel, Roxanne. She discovers that her former best friend, Erin, is engaged and the wedding is the day of Megan's birthday. Her current best friend, Maudine, is preoccupied with her boyfriend, Curtis. And to top it all off, Harrison, a demon hunter, who has become Megan's protector, and just like a brother, has been summoned to Australia to deal with an emergency.
She also has some powers manifesting that have been placed within her. Powers that are triggered by her anger. Powers that she can't control.
Upon arrival at home, after meeting with Harrison about is impending departure, Megan discovers a grey and white kitten waiting for her on the front porch. Harrison provided a cute little hellcat to watch over Megan, since there wasn't anyone else who could. You read that right....a hellcat. Yep, I'm going to just let you figure out that little bit all by yourself.
When Megan decides it's time to confront Erin and find out why, at the age of 16, she has decided to marry Danny, she gets a little more than expected. Erin is cold and sarcastic - not anywhere near the girl that Megan grew up with. As she's leaving the establishment where she found Erin, Erin's fiance and two of his friends chase her down to the bus stop. And here to save the day is - Guy! She thought she'd lost him forever, and here he is, her knight in shining armor. All is now right in that little part of her world!
If only if it were that easy and uncomplicated in Megan's world. She, with the help of Matt (who is, indeed, in hell but providing clues to Megan in her dreams at night), discovers a sinister plot involving Erin, herself, and of course Satan. And a sinister plot that proves Guy may not be the guy she remembers from a couple months ago.
I tell you, this girl cannot catch a break.
This novel, heck - this series - has an excellent story line that just keeps getting better! I devoured this book in about 4 hours. I couldn't put it down once I started. There are twists, turns, and gripping emotions. Just when we think we know what's going on, the rug gets pulled out and things just crumble. We get to watch Megan mature a little bit more as she grasps the use of her powers, and the situations involving Maudine and Erin.
If you haven't read this series, I highly recommend it.

A review copy was provided for an honest review. Heaven Sent was even better than the last two books in the series, there was more plot twists you won't even begin to predict and than there's Megan's darker side that's explored. This new side of her is one that's fascinatingly exciting and there's her new satanic powers to look forward to! I loved seeing how that played into everything--it's a real game-changer! Megan tries to move on only she finds that nearly impossible when her friend's life is at stake. Erin's dug herself even deeper into the pits of hell as she continues to spiral down a deep dark hole that she may not make it out of. Being the person that she is Megan Barnett won't let that happen so she makes it her mission to save her. Megan becomes everything that I've been waiting to see her become: independent, fierce, and utterly determined. I loved watching her develop into such a strong character who was willing to take risks for what she believed in. There was a lot of fantastically interesting works at play in Heaven Sent which definitely made it leagues better than the previous books.
Heaven Sent starts off 2 months later from where Earth Angel last left off picking up at the end of Megan's school year. She defeated Satan and Beelzebub but hell's not through with her yet, how could it be? Guy hasn't returned or left word ever since she received a cryptic letter that doesn't seem to make sense but she has a feeling that maybe she hasn't seen the last of him and hopes that to be true even if those thoughts are futile. Maudrina in my eyes stepped up a lot in this book and became her own character with a strong voice and an outstanding personality. She really has a pivotal role in helping Megan remain sane and pushing her through her dark times especially when everything seems hopeless. I was sad to see less of Harrison but I enjoyed what role he played immensely, he's really fun and has such wit about him. I also loved Megan's cat - the idea that her pet isn't quite what she seems is amazing. Cats are my favorite and what an imaginatively creative roll it played. Each character in Heaven Sent just grows additional layers of depth that have so many different sides to them and that was a great welcome to the series.
At first I couldn't really see where this book was headed because I thought the plot was going to wind up in a totally different direction but it really took me by surprise. It gets really twisted and it's a crazy ride full of demons, Satanists, and angels among other things. This novel was so compelling and I find myself really wanting to get my hands on the final installment of this saga; I'm hoping for a neatly tied up conclusion so I can have some finality because this series always has some loose strings that can unravel and turn up a new chaos. Heaven Sent was a very enjoyable read with great unpredictable twists and turns therefore earning a 4.5/5 rating. Bring on the last book!
Ever since her previous battle with Satan, Megan has had to deal with the loss of her beloved boyfriend, Guy. Having sustained life-threatening injuries, he and Roxanne were sent back to the heavens to recuperate, much to her dismay. Every day, she tells herself that she's surviving, and making do with the choices she's made in the past. Yet she knows that's not exactly true. Her heart still clamors for the forbidden, even though she knows she shouldn't.
When Harrison swings by, and tells her that he needs to depart on an errand he needs to take care of, Megan wonders if she'll be able to withstand his loss, as well. His parting gift gives her a bit of solace, however, yet she knows it's not enough to allow her to make do with the situation at hand. Deep inside, she knows she needs to confront Erin if she's to set their differences aside. Unfortunately, her former best friend won't make things that easy for her.
When it becomes apparent that Erin might be in danger, she comes to the realization that the battle between her and Satan isn't quite over. He still has a few eggs up his sleeve, and he's not ready to go down without another fight. Erin's been running with the wrong sort, unfortunately, and they're not willing to give up their claim on her anytime soon. Most especially, since they know it'll bring Megan to their very doorstep.
An impromptu attack brings Guy back into the fray. She's grateful for the rescue, and is no longer afraid to show him how she feels. Unbeknownst to her, appearances are definitely deceiving.
With time running out, Megan knows she'll need to decipher the clues that have been left behind for her to find. Her dreams are the key, only if she'll allow herself to see the deeper meaning in the messages she's being given. Her life, Erin's, and that of her beloved family and friends are stake. Somehow, she'll need to gain the upper hand if she's to beat Satan at his own game. The question is, how can she do that when her heart is still broken in more ways than one?
This was honestly another awesome addition to the series. I enjoyed it immensely. It's great to see Megan get a little closure to certain aspects of her life. There were quite a few twists and turns that were definitely unexpected, but that's the beauty of a good book, right? Will Megan get her heart's desire, once and for all, I wonder? That definitely remains to be seen. So can't wait for the final book of this series!
Megan has defeated Armando/Satan once already, but he is not through with her just yet. Not only is Guy gone, up in Heaven healing after being terribly hurt, but Satan is still looking for a bride and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
This was such a great book! There was so much suspense (Oh my gods, what is going to happen next?? Will Satan finally leave Megan alone?? Probably not...) and action and I absolutely love that about this series! I also loved the new additions to the book... One is Amanda! She is SO adorable! Absolutely love her! Also, a couple of other characters I really loved were Suze and her new BF, which I thought was such a great addition! As I said, I loved the strong character Megan has become, although her powers do worry me... I mean, hello! Evil! And Maudrina and Aunt Jaz are awesome! Such great friends! And oh my gods, I miss Guy! *sobs*
But you know, I actually had a hard time remembering the exact details of what happened in the last books... How exactly Guy got injured, and how Harrison and Maudrina came into the picture. It was all bit confusing to me. You could probably say that I have a terrible memory, but I read the other books a very long time ago so it would've been nice to have a bit more of a refresher.
As for Megan's new-found powers... why am I the only one who is worried?? She's got Satan's powers and no one else is worried about this?? However, I am glad that Megan can stand up for herself :) Also, without giving too much away, this whole demon thing? It did not surprise me, unfortunately. I felt like there was something off about him as soon as he showed up. And I really don't like him -_-
Overall, I really, really liked this book! I can't wait to read the series finale and find out how things turn out for Megan (and Guy!)!

Wow, man, this series just gets better and better, and this review will be short, as I want to be careful to not give anything away. I love the progress Megan has made with her developing powers, and I love her cat Amanda, lol. I was on the edge of my seat, and really could not put the book down. Heck, I read both books 2 and this one in the same day (I am a speed reader after all) the books are not really long, but I just could not stop. Intense, emotional, and things will happen that your not going to expect at all. I loved it.
I really recommend reading this series to anyone who like the paranormal romances out there, with a thriller feel to them. These books are some of the better ones I have read. I also love the covers, though I have seen the models (at least the guy) on other books, but they still are amazing.
I still love Guy, and liked how much Megan continued to mature.
5 out of 5 stars for me.
I was provided this book from the author for the book tour for my honest review.
Another winner! I have found another incredible Author to follow. I have read all 3 of the Falling Angels Saga books. (There is a 4th one coming out.) Angels and demons with a 15/16 year old attitude filled girl mixing things up is brilliant! The first book was great! Plenty of humor and wonderful creative writing. The second book was also great! Again, plenty of humor, creative writing, and add adventure and some more characters to the ride. This third book is awesome! Not only do we get plenty of humor, creative writing, adventure and added characters, but add a suspenseful plot as well. I absolutely LOVED this third book. Most third books tend to be drawn out and dull before getting to the conclusion of a series. But this one is a far cry from doing that. In this installment you still ride along with Megan, the main female character, while she goes on her quest to defeat evil. We finally get to see what's happening with Erin, Megan's best friend from 3rd grade that ditched her at the end of the 1st book. But there is added twists, turns, surprises and excitement as well. I refuse to be like other reviewers and say too much information that can spoil it for you and make you wonder why you should get the book after reading that. ANNND I am not going to repeat what the book description already told you. I mean: PAH-LEEZE! I will say this: The fact that a Third book in a series that is really good to read? AMAZING feat!! I may even have to say this one was the best of all three. I cannot wait to see what E.Van is going to put into the 4th one.
With all that said, I "highly" recommend this book. As a matter of fact, I highly recommend the whole series: Boyfriend From Hell, Earth Angel and then Heaven Sent. The 4th book is yet to be titled. ENJOY!!
What do you do when you've lost the love of your life? You do your best to function while mending your broken heart.
Meg is doing her best to get by, but her lingering love for Guy is still clenched tightly around her heart. The reader feels everything Meg does as she goes through the motions with the regular cast of characters. She learns about the local coven of witches by way of an action-packed baking contest as well as more about the abilities she's acquired in her tussles with the supernatural. A new character, who I'm still not sure of, makes you both intrigued and repulsed, proving Van Lowe is a master of manipulation in this battle between Heaven and Hell.
After the shocking and heart wrenching ending of Earth Angel, you would think Van Lowe would give us a reprieve. Alas, he skillfully carries us along in the story, mildly cautious and massively hopeful until the reveal at the very end. I both hate him and love him for not coping out.
Another wonderful installment to the Falling Angels Saga.

After reading the first two books in E. Van Lowe's Falling Angels Series, I hoped book three would be filled with as much thrills and suspense as the first two. I was not disappointed.
Heaven Sent begins at summer break for our teens and Megan is waiting for the return of Guy, while trying to unlock the message that was hidden in the riddle she received in Earth Angel (Book two).
The Satanists are still up to their old tricks-and some new ones- and time may be running out for everyone, especially Megan.
Filled with thrills, excitement, suspense, romance, and a few unexpected twists, Heaven Sent has me more excited than ever for book 4, FALLING.
Somewhere I read this book was the best in the series so far, and I have to agree. It had the most going on, and yet they story really came around for me. Like all the pieces were finally in place. Then we get to the end of the book and I realize this is not over, we have one more book to go. Did it faze me? No. I was wondering when Satan would need to make another appearance and when it didn't happen in this one.... So I look forward to seeing what happens and if Megan can thwart Satan one final time. Gawd, I hope so!!!!
Loved the additional characters added to the book, and the possibilities with the next book. Great book and series cannot wait for the next one!
Reading the second time through even gets better! I picked up on details that I missed the first time through and so makes it worth while. Megan made a lot of sacrifices in this book, but in a way she also seemed to grow as a character which adds depth to her role. I so look forward to seeing how this ends in Falling.
E. Van Lowe did it again. I couldn't put it down. I loved the unexpected twists and turns. Now I have to wait for the next installment. Grrrr. I hope I don't have to wait to long since the series just keeps getting more and more exciting!
This started out good then got a little slow but only for a minute then there were some great twists and then it left u hangin! I was stunned by the end and thrilled! I need another book! When is book 4 coming out? There better be a book4!
I enjoyed it immensely. It's great to see Megan get a little closure to certain aspects of her life. There were quite a few twists and turns that were definitely unexpected, but that's the beauty of a good book, right?
Not my favorite in the series; it just didn't hold my attention as well as the other two. The writing was great and it is good to see some things working out in Megan's life.
